This sandwich is large. You can tell the bread and other ingredients are fresh and well made. I thought it was really delicious, although the whole wheat bread kind've threw me off, I still enjoyed it. I was only able to eat half, and my hubby enjoyed the other half. I drove by the other day and refrained from ordering ahead just in case parking was non-existent, and I couldn't find a spot but an definitely excited to try something new when I get lucky with a spot. They are also affiliated with a couple of restaurants in the area. 2 Spring and another one I can't remember that started with a G. Inside it was clean and crisp. Not windy, crisp, but if you go inside you will know what I mean. Outside they had one or two tables with chairs for those who want to nosh on the sidewalk and take in the summer sun. They also have sandwiches, canned olives, pickles, caviar, etc., biscotti, baguettes, croissants (chocolate and plain), blueberry muffins, yogurt, and more! Of the things I ordered: One star for the tiny cappuccino. I was thinking it would fit the cup, not just fit inside the cup given. I also asked for cinnamon, which it did not have. They asked me if I wanted one or two shots of espresso, which was nice. The biscotti was too sweet in my opinion. The blueberry muffins were really good and have the actual fruit inside. They don't have alternative milk. Happy shops!

But this is one of the best coffee spots I've been to in a _long_ while anywhere near NYC. Dropped by on a whim for a quick coffee while visiting friends not far from Syosset - and grabbed a (large) cornetto with pistacchio cream along with it. The staff are super kind and attentive - coffee was made fast, and brought directly to our table without us even asking. Ccappuccino was great, zero complaints. The cornetto was delicious - flaky, buttery pastry and excellent cream (not too sweet, meaning not overloaded with sugar). And the entire place is full of options of cakes, cornettos, cannoli and other delicacies to try. They also have lots of savory sandwiches to sample, we just weren't able to grab any as we were heading to a lunch elsewhere - otherwise we'd have definitely tried one, after that excellent breakfast. They even threw in a free cookie with sprinkles, because it was a bit broken apart and we were clearly admiring it / commenting on how tasty it looked. Place is clean, friendly, with plenty of room to sit down and relax - and even do some reading or work remotely (saw at least one guy typing away on his laptop). I waited in a long line, and as soon as a young man assisted me, I informed him that I was picking up a phone order for Veronica. He went to the kitchen and came back saying, 'They are working on your order right now.' I said perfect, and asked to add an extra coffee. He went to get the coffees and then checked back in the kitchen for my order. He came back out and asked, 'Are you sure you called the right location? There are no orders under Veronica being made.' I took out my phone and showed him the 10:32 AM call. I asked if it was their number, and he confirmed it was. I explained that I called, placed the order, and had it repeated back to me. He looked shocked. The chef then came out and asked another counter employee if she had taken the order. She didn't speak a word and just kept staring at the chef without acknowledging me. The buttercream frosting was where I felt the cake fell a bit short. It tasted like pure unsalted butter and had almost no sweetness to it, so we ended up just eating the cake center and leaving the frosting. Unfortunate for an expensive cake but based on the other reviews I'm wondering if it was just a one time error.
