Now this is something different - and I mean this in the best way possible! Chocolate House is all things dessert and they do them oh so well. Crepes, waffles, churro bites & mini pancakes are turned into decadent desserts of all varieties lathered in delicious sauces, fruits, candy toppings and more. If that's not your deal they also have a variety of ice creams, sundaes, milkshakes, cheesecakes and other goodies I'm forgetting. Opted for the cannoli crepe with a scoop of the pistachio almond ice cream. The gentleman who crafted this for me came over super apologetic as he misread the ticket and put pistachio & almond toppings on the crepe not realizing it was the ice cream flavor I wanted. Buddy, no reason to apologize - you did me a favor here and it was incredible. I'd probably pass on the ice cream next time or get a more basic flavor like vanilla if I really wanted a cold counterpart to the crepe, the pistacho got lost in that sea of chocolate & cannoli cream, not a bad thing just not necessary and didn't play together the way I was hoping it would. Kids thoroughly enjoyed their ice creams and wifey had a chocolate waffle stick that she loved. Got invited out for their @yelplongisland Elite grand opening, ribbon cutting, @djcowboyno.1 on the tables, familiar faces, new friends, the whole vibe! Then came the food test: - Dubai sushi crepe, HUGE portion, had to bring some home (no regrets) -Ferrero shake, as a chocolate lover, I had to control myself! Thank you to Chocolate House for opening up the doors for us Yelpers. I usually don't have time to attend Yelp events but this was definitely on my list of places to visit & it definitely didn't disappoint me. Being a huge chocolate fan and pre-diabetic this is my weakness. I figured I try to be good and had the banana foster crepe which was definitely delicious & I would order it again. Visited Chocolate House late on a Sunday night and it was packed! Once you step in the smell of deliciousness hits you! They have a big menu with lots of options. Even though it was very busy, the line went pretty fast. It was loud and all the tables were taken inside. I ordered a Lotus cheesecake to go. It came out super fast. Their cheesecake is made in their warehouse so they just add the toppings to ordered. It was about $11 which is definitely pricey. Awesome new dessert/sweets spot that took over an old Dunkin Donuts I believe. There are spaces right out front and plenty more with it being a shared lot with other businesses. They have huge glass windows so you can see right in before you go in. Theres are a few seats and tables. You can go up to the counter for your order. They have crepes, waffles, shakes and more. This is my personal heaven, if you have a sweet tooth like I do, this is the place for you. I got the red velvet cake crepe, it has a whole slice of cake inside of it and strawberries. Visited here for the first time and I was blown away by the decor, organization, cleanliness, and how inviting this store was. The staff were really friendly and helpful when it came to ordering and making the food items. I got the dubai "sushi" which was a dessert with pistachio filling rolled into a crepe and topped with an abundance of toppings. This was really good and I would come again to try it. My little one decided on the make your own crepe- milk chocolate and strawberries inside. Pistachio cream, fudge and Oreos crumbles on the outside. Inside there are several tables up to seating for 4. There was a long line when we entered. Based on the customers in the establishment, it is Halal which is definitely appealing. After ordering at the counter, they give you a buzzer that will alert you it is ready for pickup. It was certainly busy on a Saturday night. They have an extensive menu of crepes, waffles, shakes, and ice cream. There is a chocolate fountain but wasn't operating on this day. We ordered our desserts to go and they didn't disappoint! It was delicious. We didn't finish them so we saved it for the next day and it was even better! The Kinder Delight crepe was really good but it was drowning in sauce (we didn't mind!). Just standing there wondering if they forgot about the order. The customer service was honestly the worst I've experienced at any dessert place. Staff seemed disorganized, uninterested, and had zero urgency. No accountability, no effort to fix the situation, no basic courtesy. If you value your time , I would avoid this place.
