Death By Chocolate Shuga Pie

Tried the death by chocolate flavor for the first time today. It was so good! It was the perfect texture and flavor. Will definitely be back to try more flavors

I am so happy that they expanded their hours. I would always get to Babylon after work around 6 PM and they were always closed. I was happy to catch them. I was one of the last people to get their rainbow cookie Whoopie pie for the day. Definitely my favorite. So good! They should put two small, cute little tables in that alley, so that people can sit and eat their Whoopie pies because at the moment they really isn't an ambience. Overall, very unique and cool spot with delicious Whoopie pies!

Absolutely the most delicious and fresh Whoopi pies. Small little store. Went up a side street in Babylon and up to a window. Ordered the vanilla crumb as well as the cookies and cream and a death by chocolate . The Vanilla crumb was my favorite , the cookies and cream was also excellent. I didn't get to try the death by chocolate. They were all very fresh. Not sure if he fills the Whoopi pies to order or they are pre made but they were all super soft and moist. Highly recommend this Whoopi pie shop.

My box of Shuga Pies!

This is my second time having these delicious desserts! First time was before the they had a store and I got a delivery from the man himself, Terry. Fast forward to today and there was a contest on Facebook that I entered and won! The prize was a box of Shuga Pies! To say that I was ecstatic would be an understatement. The ones I tried were Death by Chocolate, Cookies and Cream, and Vanilla Crumb. The others in the box were quickly claimed and devoured by my kids. Im glad that I don't live close, I'd be there every week for sure. The shop itself is just a cute window where you place your order and get your little Shuga Pies. Just walk into the alley and look right, almost like a secret hiding spot! There is also a Facebook page where they post what flavors are available and what has sold out. Check it before you go if you have a specific flavor in mind so you won't be sad if it is sold out and they do sell out so get there asap!

My husband and I have been coming to Shuga Pie for over a year now and the quality of their desserts has been consistent across the board. Terry and Micheline have such a love for people and their products. They are kind and considerate people who have such a joy for life. They always have something new on the menu. We of course have our favorites like Cookies n Creme, Espresso, Lemon Poppy, Pistachio, and Strawberry Shortcake just to name a few. If you can think of it, they can create it. These vegan desserts are so good. If you are in the Babylon area you should try it. If you're not, it's worth the drive. Once you taste one, you'll keep coming back for more.

Great shop with outstanding pies. Just the right size! Tucked away in an alley ( right by Swell Taco)

A hidden gem in the heart of Babylon's Main Street. This bakery is owned and operated by a lovely couple whom are super friendly and love to converse with all their customers. The Shop is located down an alleyway next to swell taco, and is typically open Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The hours of operation as well as whoopie pie flavors are listed on Facebook daily, as the flavors are ever changing. You approach a walk up window where you get to place your order; or if you're so inclined you can call in your order in advance! We couldn't visit without trying a bunch, so we had gotten the original, chocolate peanut butter, funfetti, toasted coconut, rainbow cookie, razzle dazzle raspberry and apple pecan crumb flavors. All the pies are large enough to easily be split between two people. The pies were all moist, and the cream filling was light and sweet. My favorite was the apple pecan crumb, it had a delicious cinnamon-y flavor perfect for fall! All the pies are $3.50 each and you really can't go wrong with any of the flavors. Some days a line forms or popular flavors sell out quick..so if there is one you've got your eye on either get their early or call ahead!

Best dessert on Long Island!!! Every flavor is incredible The owners care deeply about the quality of their pies and are so kind to their customers!

Updated Review: February 28, 2026 I came back to Jack Jack's…read moreafter my original review in 2016. I was a little hesitant after my first experience but they were listed in my LI Cafe Passport book I got for Christmas and I want to go to all the spots in that book even if I'm revisiting. My second experience was much better so I'm upping my review to 4 stars. The staff was nicer this time. I opted for a pour over because that's what the book recommended and I got the cherry vanilla latte as well with half and half. I was able to sit in the coffee shop because I had dropped my son off at a birthday party and had a little time before I picked him up. I caught up on watching Friday Night Smackdown before elimination chamber with headphones on of course so I wouldn't disturb other people and I finished a book I was reading. The seating was nice, an optional variety of different kinds of seats and lots of seating. The latte was very smooth, you could definitely taste the coffee more in the pour over but that was good, the coffee went down nicely, not a lot of bitterness. So Jack Jack's redeemed themselves in my eyes almost ten years after my first review and I would be able to recommend going to them. Babylon Bean will still be my favorite coffee shop in Babylon but both of them are nice to visit. Original Review: March 22, 2016 I came here after picking up my jacket from the dry cleaners. I didn't like it very much at all and am happy to say my heart and my business will continue to go to the Babylon Bean! The baristas did not seem happy at all when they helped me. They weren't rude but they weren't sweet or nice either. I chose a brownie to eat and got a cup of regular coffee. The coffee was okay, not horrid but for sure not great. The brownie was disgusting. I couldn't eat the whole thing ended up throwing it on the ground for the birds to eat. This place also has a hipster vibe, sometimes I can dig it but sometimes I can't. So in my personal experience if the babylon bean and this place had a throw down I would always favor the bean!

First time trying this coffee place. It was busy on a Sunday. The coffee was strong. I also had…read morethis egg and cheese sandwich with avocado and focaccia bread. It was delicious. The barista seemed nice as well. I would stop by again.
