Ordered the the chilaquiles with eggs over easy and added chicken (for delivery). I also asked for some shredded lettuce and tomatoes on top. I was really excited because I read some good reviews but was instantly disappointed when I opened my container. My eggs were missing and no lettuce or tomatoes. The rice was hard and tasted old like it was left over from yesterday. The beans were good. The salsa verde and tortilla part was tasty . However the chicken was dry. It didn't feel like a part of the dish. It was sprinkled on top like a last minute afterthought. There was also a brown rotting avocado on top. When I called the restaurant to complain, they blamed the driver, instead of owning up to and trying to rectify the situation. Last I checked, drivers don't prepare food. I do not recommend ordering takeout from here. read more

I love Babylon Bagel ! This has become my go to bagel shop because they have so many options of VEGAN cream cheese ( vegetable,plain,scallion,strawberry,lox,Olive,avocado) So far I have had vegetable , scallion and strawberry. The vegetable is loaded with veggies , the strawberry actually has fresh strawberries in it and the scallion is perfect. My friends and family who are not vegan have been getting the vegan cream cheese because they love the flavor. The bagels here don't have that heavy bagel feel to it they are all lighter and I love that. The service is great and everyone is so friendly and helpful. My husband and I took a bike ride into Babylon village and I wanted to have breakfast in town, but really was craving some chilaquiles. This was our second stop on the morning of my birthday and much to my surprise, chilaquiles were on the menu. I was so surprised and excited. Of course I ordered it, we ate it outside. It was delicious! I had it with the green sauce and could not finish it all. I took it to go and had it at home and it was still so good! I had mentioned that it was my birthday and they had sang happy birthday to me with a chocolate muffin. Unfortunately, I was running late with my bday festivities and had to take it to go. Super disappointed with this place. My husband ordered a toasted bagel with butter and it was barely toasted and soggy. He also ordered me a bagel with bacon and cream cheese and must've asked the guy behind the counter 3 times to make the bacon extra crispy. Here's a hint. If you can hold the bacon strip up and it limply folds in half, that's not crispy. My everything bagel had about 16 seeds on it, so it was essentially a plain bagel. The cream cheese tasted weirdly acidic. Won't be coming back. read more

The owner is a pure delight and his sandwiches have me coming back day after day. The bagels are super soft and always fresh. Disabled the door handles so every door is push only, employees gloved & masked, the bagels/rolls are in a case now, not out in the open. 6 foot distancing tape on the floor and chairs lined up to keep a distance between customer/employee. I have been going to Babylon Bagel for years. I used to go out of my way for the chocolate raspberry coffee. However there are new owners. The new owner of Babylon Bagel is awesome. Amazing cook with great culinary ideas for everyday people. Every morning they have amazing bagels & a fresh homemade variety of cream cheese. Oh, and the fruit and avocados. Yum! I go in there every now and then to see what they are doing to differentiate themselves from other bagel stores. First of all, it no longer closes early. Monday thru Thursday they close at 4 pm. Friday thru Sunday they close at 7 pm. At noon, all decks are cleared and the place rocks! Homemade soups, vegeterian offerings as well. They make amazing lunches, beef, chicken, salad, rice. They way they cut a cucumber, perfection. I went in there last night for dinner for chicken tamales, some beef, with rice topped with a grilled avocado. Tamales are to die for. The most important topic I want to mention, is cleanliness. I always look at a bathroom. If it's not clean, ugh. New owners keep the place SPOTLESS. Bathroom is immaculate, floors spotless. I can't wait till they put up their new sign. I will definitely be going there more often. read more

I have gluten and dairy intolerances. Finding places/foods I can eat and and taste good is difficult. Most places put butter or cream in EVERYTHING. Not this place. Babylon bagels is very cognizant of dairy. They have a variety of dairy free cream cheeses. Their home made soup is dairy free as well and the premade soup containers list the ingredients. The owner is very welcoming and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone, weather your dairy free, vegan, or eat it all. I wish I found them sooner. My wife and I support the businesses in the village but this has got to be the worst bagel store anywhere near Babylon Village. The bagels are supermarket white bread quality with no seeds, salt, etc. One look and you know it's not a Long Island bagel. Add in the attitude of the girls behind the counter and you'll be regretting those calories before you're halfway done. Head over the Railroad Bagel or better yet up Little East neck to West Babylon Bagel. Both are far superior. read more

I went to Babylon Bagel today and was very impressed. The customer service was great and quick. I had the Mexican tuna on a spinach wrap with lettuce tomato and avocado and it was so good and my girlfriend enjoyed long islands favorite breakfast item bacon egg and cheese. We both left happy and full. Can't wait to go back and try their traditional Mexican food. It looked very appetizing on their Instagram @babylonbagel.
