I called the store to see where my order was and no answer. When the food finally arrived it was cold and dry. I emailed the manager, MICHELLE but she had a very snobby attitude and told me to take it up with their delivery service, called Nash. I did, but Nash referred me back to the manager, so I forwarded the Nash email response to MICHELLE thinking she would intervene on my behalf with Nash, but to my surprise, she told me to "We MADE your food and are not responsible for the outside delivery courier's fees. " Basically, she told me to "F___ OFF". I will never order from that store again. Michelle's denial of responsibility is puzzling, since the experience when ordering take-out on the Bagel Market & Bistro makes no mention that the store uses a third party to deliver, and that the merchant is not responsible for timely deliveries. In fact, I found out after the fact from MICHELLE that they use Nash to deliver their products. This should be irrelevant, since Nash is their vendor of choice; it is not like I or anyone else chose or would choose Nash to deliver an order...I never heard of Nash. Anyway, MICHELLE gave me the contact info for Nash Customer Support, I emailed them asking for a refund because the order arrived 45 minutes late, it was cold and dry, but Nash wrote back that I had to settle the issue with the merchant. I then forwarded MICHELLE Nash's reply asking her to intervein, and below is her reply to me: From: info bmbistro.com info@bmbistro.com Sent: Thursday, July 30, 2026 7:23 PM To: Mike xxxxxxx.@xxxx.xxx Subject: Re: Your order from 110 Bagel Market & Bistro - REFUND REQUEST PLEASE As I've already explained, our store did not charge you the service or delivery fees and we also DO NOT COLLECT THEM FROM NASH, they receive those fees. So, my store does not have those funds to return to you. You should have reached out to them when I explained that the courier number was on your confirmation and to reach out to them for any refunds that same day. We MADE your food and are not responsible for the outside delivery courier's fees. Kindly, Michelle Sent from my iPhone There was no contact information on the receipt, counter to Michelle's claim, so Bagle Market &Bistro left me to fend for myself since neither Nash nor MICHELLE lifted a finger to help me get a refund. The delivery charges consisted of a $3 Service charge, a $6.10 Delivery fee, and a $10.73 Currier tip, which is just shy of $20; 1/5 of the bill went to paying for Bagel Market & Bistro's delivery service - which cannot deliver on time. Notice MICHELLE's last sentence in her comment to my review. Michelle wrote, "We have thousands of happy customers who I do my utmost to help, so, respectfully, F___ OFF, MIKE." Nice thing to say to customers. The sad thing is, I was a long-time loyal customer, but she did the bare minimum to help me - not even an email to Nash on my behalf after Nash referred me back to the merchant to resolve the issue. She was so accommodating, attentive, and willing to work with us to make everything exactly what we wanted. We also had several guests with gluten allergies, and the team was incredibly accommodating and made sure everyone had delicious options to enjoy. Broadway Gourmet went above and beyond with the setup and preparation. They came the day before our wedding to prep their display tables and work stations, helped us set everything up on the wedding day, and even stayed late to accommodate the preparation of food for our after-party. Their staff was absolutely amazing and played such an important role in keeping everything running smoothly. The bartenders especially kept the party going all night! And, of course, the food was DELICIOUS! Our guests could not stop talking about it. In fact, so many of our friends and family came back the next day specifically to take home leftovers--which we think says it all! Having a backyard wedding came with a lot of moving pieces, but Desiree and her team made the catering portion completely seamless and stress-free. They put plenty of cream cheese on their very fluffy and always fresh bagels, too. On the weekends they have amazing popovers, too!
