My boyfriend and I decided to get breakfast early Saturday morning which I thought would be a terrible idea. To my lovely surprise, there was seating for us at the bar. I also thought the service would be slow, but it was quite the opposite. The wait staff was super attentive and even made accommodations without issue. Also, the decor is 50s themed and feels like a blast from the past. After we enjoyed our delicious dishes, we walked out and saw a huge line waiting at the door. Safe to say we came at the perfect time but clearly this is one of the most popular breakfast spots in town!

Came for a lunch on a sunny Wednesday afternoon. We ordered a Chicken Caesar Salad Home fries or cubed potatoes and eggs poached in sauce.

Glen's Dinette in Babylon NY on Main Street , is a great place to have Breakfast, Brunch Or Lunch. Soups are delicious. Like Butternut Squash in session. They also have fresh muffins and perfect maid Tuscan poached eggs with the cooks/chefs making it to order the way requested. Dinette has been there many years with ever interested decor a license plates on the walls. There is a counter and there are tables inside and outside weather permitting. The parking is street parking bring quarters. ( holiday red bags over meters this season) Note: they are listed as Cash only- but do take credit cards now. Check hours before stopping by.

What a fun experience! Also saying Hi! to our waitress Toni! That chipotle chicken wrap was sublime!!!!! We ventured to Babylon for our son's annual train ride. Glenns has been around almost 75 years! Nostalgic but not stale! The food was great! Awesome Waffle/chix! Great Wraps and also the Reuben! Decent prices and you will leave full! Truly a great service with nothing but smiles! If you are eve in the area, trek down to Glenn's!!!

It's a very adorable old- fashioned diner with a huge menu of sandwiches and breakfast served all day. Awesome retro counter with bar stools. Outdoor seating is a plus. Staff is super friendly and accommodating! Three stars because of an extremely limited vegetarian menu. As someone who looks to limit dairy and eggs as well, there was only one item that I could find.. a garden salad. I understand it's a diner and my diet is not typically at this type of establishment, but usually I can find a roasted veggie wrap or grilled portobello sandwich. Would love to go back if they add an item or two.

Glen's Dinette has become our go-to weekend breakfast spot. We love the convenient location near DPA & 231, right on Montauk Highway. The family owned business serves breakfast all day & none of their menu items disappoint. The breakfast combo offers a lot of great options for a great price. Breakfast sandwiches do not come with home fries so don't forget to add an order. The Chicken Sandwich on the lunch menu is one of our favorites. They offer Frank's Red Hot or Tabasco which I cant help but appreciate. Their iced coffee & iced tea are my go-to beverage choices. During COVID19 they were open for take out only but have recently added tables to the sidewalk for outdoor dining. I assume they will resume indoor dining this week or next but call to confirm. Highly recommend this place for everyone!

Corned Beef Hash

Everything is set up for social distancing. Food was as good as ever. The Idaho has tons of bacon and cheddar cheese. The corned beef hash is perfect. Crunchy on top, full of flavor. My son had the smiley face pancake with bananas. Bananas were caramelized and so flavorful. Belgian waffle was crispy and light. Huevos Rancheros were great. Best place for breakfast around!

Coffee first!!!

Hash, hash, hash, get the hash! Very cute place that turns over quick. Right in the heart of the Babylon Village.

It was crowded, all the diners were happy and conversing with the staff. From babies to senior citizens, everyone seemed to be enjoying their meal and having a good experience. Everyone was super attentive but in a very good and friendly way, not in an annoying bother us every three minutes way we were seated immediately and had multiple people taking care of our table, bringing fresh bread immediately and drinks and they really know what they are doing.

Service - 4/5 - went above whats needed. Ambiance - 4/5 - nice vibe and decorated nicely. Overall - 3/5 - ok spot. Service and ambiance were better than expected but food was sub par. Food was pretty lackluster even for a diner. Onion rings were ok, chicken tenders were like every other cheap restaurants. Ordered the Chinese pork roast sandwich and was a total disappointment. Also did not give extras like other diners do. Only saving grace was Banana Silver Dollar pancakes. Service did go above, water was always full, chef and waiter helped get us an order they don't normally do. They went above what was needed. Inside was decorated really nicely, felt very festive and upbeat. Was not expecting that. If food wasn't sub par, would definitely be worth a stop. This diner does get pretty busy, but the atmosphere is great. Not a lot of kids screaming. First…read morethings first, the coffee was good. Your standard coffee. I like the fact they have a person specifically to serve coffee to everybody that has a cup. The service was very good as well. The waitress Vikki did a great job. They're very quick to give you your food and water first. My friend had the bruschetta avocado toast. I had the avocado, cheddar, and tomato omelette with home fries. 1. The bruschetta avocado toast: They're too generous with the balsamic glaze. They need to lighten it up so you can enjoy the rest of the ingredients. Anything balsamic is typically a strong flavor as a small amount. The avocado, mozzarella and tomato are too heavy for the bread. They should try a more sturdy bread like sourdough to keep it up. The bread they currently use will just break apart. 2. My avocado, cheddar and tomato omelette w/ home fries: The home fries had some good flavor, but could've been better. The potatoes were cut like coins for the most part and I think that kills most of the home fries experience. Usually something like this is diced up to give an evenly crisp and cooked experience. All I really got was flimsy potato coins with some crisp here and there. Which led to the potatoes being soft and dull. It should've been pressed down onto more to give a more crisp flavor and texture. The omelette was pretty good. At certain points it seemed like the avocado was not ripe enough to cook with. It had a similar taste to steamed unseasoned broccoli, then at other portions of the omelette, it seems fine. The cheddar used lacked a bit taste. Overall, it was still good experience. The people are considerate and friendly. I also think they should bring the food out when it's a bit hotter. I'm not saying I need it to burn my mouth, but I don't want room temperature food that is slightly on the warm side.
