    Orzo Burrata Salad
    Lynn D.

Always a good time at the Villager! The Burrata orzo salad was delightful though I wish the actual orzo was hot instead of cold, but the wings there never disappoint. It was my first time having the prickly pear margarita & it was phenomenal. The staff is always pleasant & the food service is always quick. Solid bar.

I walked in . Great energy. Loved the ambiance. Chill hang out spot . I was excited. The food just was not good tho. I came here for a graduation 'after party' of sorts and everything I tried was not something I would order again. I tried the Mac n cheese. Nope. As a matter of fact. Two ppl ordered it and they both came out differently. One the cheese on top was melted and the other the cheese was still shredded sitting on top. Boneless wings. Nope. Personally not a fan of burgers. Another ordered ramen and said it was okay. Idk. Maybe I'll come back and be super basic and order wings. It def won't be my first stop. I am open to second chances tho.

Can't stress it enough folks, if you're in town and haven't visited Joe and the crew for a late night brew while watching your favorite team play, then I don't know what you're doing. The ambiance is so welcoming and the food? Forget about it! I would recommend everyone to try their SnackWrap, the name itself does no Justice! Let's just say it's your favorite combination of Crispy BACON and fried chicken, what else sounds better then that! Possibly the greatest bar and service you'll ever find anywhere on the island and Joe and the crew definitely hold it down! Every visit, every sip of a crisp brew, always hits home. Welcome to The Villager, they're the real dill... yeah we love our pickles !!

Came with my boyfriend for a casual night out. When we arrived it was very loud...and crowded. We didn't know what we wanted to eat...so we decided to share 3 appetizers. Big Pretzel- Basic. nothing wow-ed us. However, the beer cheese was good and my boyfriend enjoyed the mustard. Gouda Fries- Delicious. However, I wish there was more cheese...or the cheese was more evenly spread on the fries. Bang Bang Shrimp- the winner appetizer! It was so delicate and had great flavors. Beers.... You won't find much "brand" beers here. My boyfriend and I both went with the Villager Beer. It was a very light beer...but it was good. To end the night we both had two different cocktails of the night. I don't remember what they were, but they were good. Service was good. I don't remember our server's name but he was attentive.

My friend and I went for a casual weeknight dinner and had a good time. I had a fig and prosciutto flatbread and she had the coconut chicken skewers. She enjoyed hers and while the mine tasted ok I felt it was a little soggy. Service was efficient and we never felt rushed. Overall a positive experience

Updating my previous review to say food is banging and there are some great happy hour deals. Mon-Fri 3-7pm, $8-$9 select apps, $8 cocktails, $2 off draft beers etc. They also have a loyalty program :) highly recommend the nachos, wings and sliders. Also love their rotating selection of brews!

Amazing food! This is our 2nd time here and I love this place. There is a wide variety of ages and everyone is made to feel comfortable. They have a really good happy hour, it's Monday - Friday 3-7! The bartender Rob is very attentive and has a great personality!! There is a huge selection of beers on tap and the food menu has something for everyone!!! The boneless wings are super delicious as was everything else we had!! I highly recommend this place!!

Recently had a friend tell me that The Villager had one of the best dishes in the area. Had to see it myself. Place was packed from the start. Went with some friends and had the Steak Sandwich 10/10. My other friend had the Snack Wrap. Said it was amazing as well. A must go towards anyone that lives nearby and possibly the best restaurant/bar in Babylon Village.

The Brixton is a beautiful restaurant with very relaxed and casual vibes. The word around town is that their drinks are awesome. What about their food, though? They originally would not seat us in the middle of the afternoon because most of the empty tables were reserved. We had to request to sit outside, which was empty, before they decided to serve us. Odd that they did not even offer that to us. The General Tso' Cauliflower was the only great thing served to us. It is incredibly crispy and flavorful. You almost forgot that you were eating a piece of vegetable at times. The Short Rib Brisket Sesame burger was shocking. $18 for two White Castles-sized sliders. It was easily consumed, and I was left much to be desired. This is most definitely an appetizer item, not an entree. The Chicken Waffle was good. Nicely deep-fried and packs a lot of flavor. The waffle looked dubious. If I had to guess, it might not be mad fresh to order. Essentially, it's 3 drumsticks/wings over a possibly frozen Eggo waffle. I would recommend a second dish if you are looking to get full. The Steak frites and Eggs Benedict were the final dishes served. It is hard to mess these dishes up, but the ribeye was nicely seasoned and cut up. The dishes were nicely displayed. Overall, this is just an OK experience. When the deep-fried cauliflower appetizer is the most memorable dish here, it is quite alarming. Portion sizes are on the small end, and none of the flavors for the entrees really stuck out. Perhaps I will come here strictly for the drinks next time.
