I always forget the pictures but clearly the wings were good! Villager sauce

Finally a date night with NO KIDS!! As I've reviewed in the past, The Villager is a great place for parents who like good beer and good food but also have to bring their kids with them lol. However, if you can steal away for two hours, this is also a great date spot. The music was from my generation so I was confused why it was so loud? This was my first clue that I am officially old. But that is a me problem not them. We always order the wings (top 5 on the entire island) and the Gouda fries are unparalleled! My husband ordered the gyro. Bold move ordering a cultural dish from non Greeks. He said it was really good! I like that it came on a round instead of a pocket. It gave a quesadillas feel. His only suggestion was to put the siracha on the side since that's not a traditional gyro ingredient. On another bold move, I ordered the Ramen and added braised short ribs. Wow!! I don't know who they have cooking in the back making these authentic meals but this was some of the best Ramen I've ever had. The flavors were so good and the eggs was cooked to perfection (not too runny but not over cooked). Our waitress was very nice as well. It was busy but I never felt like we had to wait long for her attention. 10/10 as always! Reliable top quality with an ever changing beer menu.

Had a great Saturday afternoon lunch at The Villager. The egg rolls and the loaded fries were delicious. My drink was made well, would definitely get again. My husband got a flight! Love how they had tables outside to enjoy the beautiful day.

Always a good time at the Villager! The Burrata orzo salad was delightful though I wish the actual orzo was hot instead of cold, but the wings there never disappoint. It was my first time having the prickly pear margarita & it was phenomenal. The staff is always pleasant & the food service is always quick. Solid bar.

I walked in . Great energy. Loved the ambiance. Chill hang out spot . I was excited. The food just was not good tho. I came here for a graduation 'after party' of sorts and everything I tried was not something I would order again. I tried the Mac n cheese. Nope. As a matter of fact. Two ppl ordered it and they both came out differently. One the cheese on top was melted and the other the cheese was still shredded sitting on top. Boneless wings. Nope. Personally not a fan of burgers. Another ordered ramen and said it was okay. Idk. Maybe I'll come back and be super basic and order wings. It def won't be my first stop. I am open to second chances tho.

Can't stress it enough folks, if you're in town and haven't visited Joe and the crew for a late night brew while watching your favorite team play, then I don't know what you're doing. The ambiance is so welcoming and the food? Forget about it! I would recommend everyone to try their SnackWrap, the name itself does no Justice! Let's just say it's your favorite combination of Crispy BACON and fried chicken, what else sounds better then that! Possibly the greatest bar and service you'll ever find anywhere on the island and Joe and the crew definitely hold it down! Every visit, every sip of a crisp brew, always hits home. Welcome to The Villager, they're the real dill... yeah we love our pickles !!

Came with my boyfriend for a casual night out. When we arrived it was very loud...and crowded. We didn't know what we wanted to eat...so we decided to share 3 appetizers. Big Pretzel- Basic. nothing wow-ed us. However, the beer cheese was good and my boyfriend enjoyed the mustard. Gouda Fries- Delicious. However, I wish there was more cheese...or the cheese was more evenly spread on the fries. Bang Bang Shrimp- the winner appetizer! It was so delicate and had great flavors. Beers.... You won't find much "brand" beers here. My boyfriend and I both went with the Villager Beer. It was a very light beer...but it was good. To end the night we both had two different cocktails of the night. I don't remember what they were, but they were good. Service was good. I don't remember our server's name but he was attentive.

My friend and I went for a casual weeknight dinner and had a good time. I had a fig and prosciutto flatbread and she had the coconut chicken skewers. She enjoyed hers and while the mine tasted ok I felt it was a little soggy. Service was efficient and we never felt rushed. Overall a positive experience

Updating my previous review to say food is banging and there are some great happy hour deals. Mon-Fri 3-7pm, $8-$9 select apps, $8 cocktails, $2 off draft beers etc. They also have a loyalty program :) highly recommend the nachos, wings and sliders. Also love their rotating selection of brews!

Amazing food! This is our 2nd time here and I love this place. There is a wide variety of ages and everyone is made to feel comfortable. They have a really good happy hour, it's Monday - Friday 3-7! The bartender Rob is very attentive and has a great personality!! There is a huge selection of beers on tap and the food menu has something for everyone!!! The boneless wings are super delicious as was everything else we had!! I highly recommend this place!!

Nah - the boys just ate that. Chinese or Asian fusion? We just had that the other day. Diner? Nah. My daughter remembered Post Office Cafe and we went. It was very loud in the front and we almost walked out but figured we'd give it a try. They seated us way in the back (I had no idea this place was so huge!) where it was quieter. I ordered a chicken salad of some kind with avocado and salad. My son ordered the mac and cheese - it was the highlight of dinner! Absolutely delicious. His friend got the Thai calamari which was decent until he got to the bottom. It was soaked in seasoning and too sweet. My daughter got the buttered pasta - children's portion. I'll let the photo speak for itself. It was drenched in butter. On the bright side - service was great, most of the meals were excellent, waffle fries on point. I mentioned the pasta and showed our server the pool of butter. He took it off our bill without even asking. So ... 4 stars - 5 stars for local business service and just lost the one star for the less than stellar meal and app. Will probably be back!

Lets' back up. -Atmosphere? 10 out of 10. The bar and inside restaurant looks amazing. We chose to sit outside, its a beautiful night. -Parking? I was able to park out front, on the street. -Drinks? I had a pretty good cocktail, Peach Bourbon Lemonade made with Bourbon and Peach Schnapps. -Wait staff? Our waitress was attentive and all of the waiters kept our water glasses full and removed our finished plates. My wife & I always get a pizza and a salad to split between us. I ordered for us the Poached Pear Salad. Topped with crumbled gorgonzola, chopped pecans, and poached pears. This was a nice summer-y salad. I liked it, it was a nice starter but $18 bucks?? First time here and the pizza just turned me off. I would have changed it up if I had to start over, maybe a meat & cheese platter? There's too much competition in the area, the small plates are full entree prices and we were served yucko pizza.
