Bartini Bar and Lounge is a fun place to spend an evening, especially if you love hearing live music. Every genre can be found at different times. Friendly crowd and polite bartenders in a fun, unassuming atmosphere. Add a star if you're an amateur musician. Dave Drew runs the absolute -best- open mic every Monday!

Great local bar. Friendly and clean. Amazing live music of different genres. Bartini Bar does much to support the music community as well as local charities.

11/8 kids cancer benefit show. Thanks Dave, Rob, and Bartini's!

I must hand it to Bartini for hosting six cancer benefit concerts a year. They host a ton of great bands from all over Long Island and offer a dive bar feel but a good dive bar feel. Most of their beer is bottled except for 2 taps and when I was there, it was Blue Point and Blue Point Pumpkin. (You got to appreciate local beer.) Unfortunately I didn't get my pint glass filled with Blue Point Pumpkin rimmed with cinnamon sugar but it was served in a chilled glass and the keg must have also been kept extremely cold because my beer stayed very cold for a very long time.

Glad there is a bar open but I'm not impressed. Music went from rock to rap. Uggh. Bathroom could be cleaner.

Warm, cozy, and full of charm, with thoughtful details everywhere (including rolling pins hanging from the ceiling, which I loved). It immediately sets the tone for a fun, relaxed night out. We went with friends and had such a great experience from start to finish. I kicked things off with a classic espresso martini, while my husband went with a mule--both were perfectly made and a great way to start the night. For appetizers, we went all in and ordered one of each of the Piadina Romana's plus a medium meat board--and this is where Talina really shines. Every single item was cooked to perfection and incredibly flavorful. The sausage, baby lamb chops, pork ribs, and vegetable gratin were all standout in their own way. I kept trying to pick a favorite and just couldn't--everything was that good. The staff deserves a shoutout too--they were genuinely friendly, attentive, and had great personalities that made the whole experience feel even more special. For dinner, I ordered the Strozzapreti Gratinati and my husband got the Mezzelune al Tartufo. We shared (obviously), and both dishes were phenomenal. Rich, comforting, and packed with flavor--and the fact that all of the pasta is homemade really takes it to another level. We definitely ordered a lot of food... but somehow left with zero leftovers because it was just too good to stop eating. We wanted to try dessert, but we were completely tapped out. Safe to say we'll absolutely be back--and already have plans to return with more friends. Pro tip: Come hungry and plan to share--the meat board and multiple pastas are the move. And if you're going on a weekend, definitely make a reservation ahead of time because this place is getting popular fast.

The Brixton is a beautiful restaurant with very relaxed and casual vibes. The word around town is that their drinks are awesome. What about their food, though? They originally would not seat us in the middle of the afternoon because most of the empty tables were reserved. We had to request to sit outside, which was empty, before they decided to serve us. Odd that they did not even offer that to us. The General Tso' Cauliflower was the only great thing served to us. It is incredibly crispy and flavorful. You almost forgot that you were eating a piece of vegetable at times. The Short Rib Brisket Sesame burger was shocking. $18 for two White Castles-sized sliders. It was easily consumed, and I was left much to be desired. This is most definitely an appetizer item, not an entree. The Chicken Waffle was good. Nicely deep-fried and packs a lot of flavor. The waffle looked dubious. If I had to guess, it might not be mad fresh to order. Essentially, it's 3 drumsticks/wings over a possibly frozen Eggo waffle. I would recommend a second dish if you are looking to get full. The Steak frites and Eggs Benedict were the final dishes served. It is hard to mess these dishes up, but the ribeye was nicely seasoned and cut up. The dishes were nicely displayed. Overall, this is just an OK experience. When the deep-fried cauliflower appetizer is the most memorable dish here, it is quite alarming. Portion sizes are on the small end, and none of the flavors for the entrees really stuck out. Perhaps I will come here strictly for the drinks next time.

Nah - the boys just ate that. Chinese or Asian fusion? We just had that the other day. Diner? Nah. My daughter remembered Post Office Cafe and we went. It was very loud in the front and we almost walked out but figured we'd give it a try. They seated us way in the back (I had no idea this place was so huge!) where it was quieter. I ordered a chicken salad of some kind with avocado and salad. My son ordered the mac and cheese - it was the highlight of dinner! Absolutely delicious. His friend got the Thai calamari which was decent until he got to the bottom. It was soaked in seasoning and too sweet. My daughter got the buttered pasta - children's portion. I'll let the photo speak for itself. It was drenched in butter. On the bright side - service was great, most of the meals were excellent, waffle fries on point. I mentioned the pasta and showed our server the pool of butter. He took it off our bill without even asking. So ... 4 stars - 5 stars for local business service and just lost the one star for the less than stellar meal and app. Will probably be back!

The menu is eclectic: everything from Fried Goat Cheese to Spicy Stuffed Rigatoni to Parm Truffle Fries. I ordered the Au Poivre Skewers and Taste of Long Island Oysters as appetizers. For a cocktail, I had an Old Fashioned made with Woodford Reserve. For dessert, I had the Chocolate Dubai Martini. The Au Poivre Sauce was on par with any steakhouse in NYC, the oysters tasted fresh caught, the Old Fashioned was magnificent with Bourbon Cherries, and the Dubai Martini (a dessert, not a cocktail) was rich and chocolatey. The food and drink are a little pricey for what you get, but that is the story with most restaurants these days. The crowd was a little noisy. It was hard to hear what the bartender was saying to sometimes, but that is just me, Gail B., usually having difficulty tuning out the restaurant/bar crowd.

"I see her on the freeway Long Island Expressway…read moreHey, give me a break, baby Help me get out of this rain" (Rolling Stones) I just attended a wedding here, and I honestly can't imagine any aspect of the experience that could have been improved. It was that good. The wedding ceremony took place outside, where rows of chairs were set up and we all had gorgeous waterfront views. After the ceremony, we walked into the building's first floor for the cocktail hour. Simply put, the food was amazing. The cocktail hour alone could have served as a meal. There was a big central charcuterie station of cold appetizers - think meats, cheeses, fruits, and crudities. The four corners of the room each housed a food station - a carving station, sushi/sashimi, pasta, and Asian stir fry. Oh, and there were tons of butler service passed hors oeuvres too. Next, we walked upstairs to the large ballroom for the main meal. Dinner service started with a "Burrata Caprese" salad with a big hunk of creamy mozzarella served in a dressed salad with grilled bread. As for the dinner entrees, would you believe a choice of SEVEN entrees?? I kid you not -- seven entrees - Branzino, chicken, pork, beef, shrimp, Surf and Turf, and eggplant. My table had just about all of the choices, and everything disappeared. After the meal, there was an apple tart with ice cream and wedding cake. All of the people I interacted with, the hosts, the bartenders, the servers and the clearers were super polite and friendly. The decorations were perfection and all of the servers and bartenders were attentive and nice. It was a blast and the staff at Piermont helped make it a success.
