The decor and ambiance inside is much more elevated than I imagine when I hear "pizzeria". Gold accents, mirrors, and nice marble ~ no red checkered plastic table cloths here! The menu had lots of great options without being overwhelming. I couldn't even decide on a pizza, they all sounded so good! We got a Caesar Salad Chicken Cutlet which was satisfying as a salad and as a protein. I liked that it was served with fresh lemon. We also got the beggars purse pasta with a sausage cream sauce. I felt that the pasta had a bit too much sauce but all meals were served with pizza bread so I used that to soak it up. The pricing was fair for the quality and vibe of the restaurant. Great food and friendly service. But $9 for a draft beer with a 1" head of foam on it is "in your face" obnoxious. Businesses that do this are hurting themselves in the long run. We know costs are high, but this is the wrong way to close the revenue gap and isn't providing customers with a "good value" feeling. There are still several very good places where a beer is $6 or $7. We'll go there. read more

I love coming here, especially grabbing a seat at the bar. The food is consistently outstanding, and I have to mention the meatballs appetizer...they are absolutely incredible and a must-order every time. Came here to celebrate a kids birthday with a bunch of her friends and had a great time. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the food was really good. The waitstaff were all very friendly. We'd heard good things about The Pizzeria so decided to give the one in Babylon village a try. I had a good vibe immediately since it has its own dedicated parking lot with free parking for customers. Huge perk in Babylon Village. They were upgrading the back entrance so we had to walk past some ladders but inside you couldn't tell work was being done. Everything was so clean and welcoming!! There's a huge bar, which sets it apart from other quick service pizza places. The variety of specialty pies was incredible. I ordered regular slice and it was excellent. We have many choices in good pizza in this neighborhood and The Pizzeria holds its own against any of them. My son's friend got a chicken slice that tasted like General Taos on pizza with a tangy sweet Asian sauce and red hot peppers for spice. It was delicious and heavy - we ended up splitting it 3 ways in addition to each eating a regular slice. Will definitely be back next time we are around that way. I attended my friend's Bridal Shower here at The Pizzeria of Babylon and it was amazing! The service and staff was super attentive and the food was so good - meatballs, prosciutto and bread, salad served as appetizers for the table and for the main course, penne ala vodka, chicken parm, and eggplant rollilini. I paired all that deliciousness with a drink called the Little Silician. Very refreshing and light - Limoncello, Prosecco, lemon and mint. Very tasty. The desert was cake, which I believe the host brought in and the restaurant cut into slices, with rainbow cookies (too sweet for my liking) and cannolis. I love the setup of this spot, very open and bright with a bar smack dab in the middle. A great time was had by all. This was a nice spot to host an event such as a shower or will be a great selection to cater your event. Looking forward to my next visit! read more

I usually like this spot because the pizza is normally great. Last friday, we got the large tri fecta pizza in which the bottom was not crispy like usual and it was more soft. It was not that busy yet and our server, Kassandra, was extremely unpleasant. Did not check up on us once. We had to keep finding other works to get chili flakes, get another plate, and to get a refill on the beer. My husband had to track her down for us to even get our check. The food was poor. I always loved this place but twice in a month it's been really bad. Rice balls are literally mush with no flavor and drowned in sauce. Ordered baked clams were fishy. Ordered gluten free pizza that was soggy burnt and could not eat it. My son ordered chocolate brownie d couldn't even get his fork in, it was hard as a rock. I could go on the whole meal was a disappointing disaster. The manager was nice enough to destroy the whole check. I love that they incorporate the community into their decor and ambiance. Update...so, this is a top notch pizzeria in town, the pizza is delicious as always. Customer service was a hit and a miss! I bring special needs adults into the community during the day for work, and usually, I have great experiences at "my spots.". This time, the older man that was taking "his" order was rolling his eyes and was totally impatient. He got mad that he didn't order mozzarella sticks before we got there for a sit down order?!? He was saying "what?!? You didn't call it in?!?" And walked off angry. Another man jumped and took the order, and the first man rang him up, then ignored me and took the next customer so i couldn't order a slice. I had to jump in and tell him I needed to order. I have been to the Pizzeria in Lindenhurst and in Bay Shore, and this location is just as great. There is plenty of seating and lighting, which is nice and helps the restaurant feel very open. We came here for a quick lunch and sat on the counter side of the restaurant. The sit down side had a bar in the middle which was a different vibe than your typical pizza place. My husband had a buffalo slice and I had a chicken caesar wrap but it was made with a thin pizza dough and topped with some Parmesan cheese and a little dressing. It was definitely different and very good. My only complaint was the girl behind the counter was not very into working I suppose. I asked her if the drinks in the top row of the fridge if they were iced tea and green tea and she just glanced and was like "I think it is unsweetened iced tea." Why not just go look in the fridge?
