Gone are the days of the Brickhouse brewery. Now you have a super classy joint that resides right in Patchogue. A place that, I'm reminded by my husband every time we drive through, use to not be so classy. My sister requested that we have her baby shower here because she was such a fan of the food. And she was right. The food is fresh and delicious and featured in a very well thought out menu. Julien was a pleasure to work with during the preparations. Allowing access to the space during not busy times to help us plan our decorations. Day of it was all hands on deck. Julien, Anna and our amazing bartender with the handlebar mustache exceeded our expectations. The food was incredible. My sister had the best time and that's all that matters. It was quickly returned without any issues . When we received the check we were charged double. This was also quickly resolved. Overall, good place , decent food average beer selection. For drinks, I was thinking about ordering a margarita, but our server mentioned the mojito specials. I quickly switched up and ordered the coconut mojito. My husband tried the mango passion fruit mojito, but it was extremely sour and had to be sent back. Unfortunately, the second drink he ordered also wasn't to his liking. I ordered the coconut mojito, the drink itself was good, but between the narrow glass and all the ice, it disappeared pretty quickly, which felt different from past experiences. Now Let's talk Dominican Ribs ... OMG...the thing that hooked me here the first time... The flavor was spot on, clearly that recipe has not changed. They fall off the bone, tender with that sticky sweet lick your fingers kind of special but they too were a little different. A little dainty. You don't need to worry about bringing your own clubs as they do have rentals, but you can bring your own too. We did a two hour rental in the afternoon and only booked the day before with no issues. The staff were some of the nicest and most helpful guys I've had the pleasure of doing business with, they even gave us some extra time since we showed up a little late and there weren't any other rentals after us. Good selection of drinks and if you're hungry, they don't have their own kitchen but they have a deal with Rhum next door to order food, which is some good tasty bar food. I love the sort of mid century modern style they have going on, it fits the golf atmosphere, but none of the snobiness that it usually brings with the sport. Parking can be a little tricky, but there are a bunch of lots around (some paid, some not) which are likely your best bet, even if that means you'll have a short walk. Might just be my favorite bar in patchogue, golf or otherwise, and will gladly comeback here any time.

Now I've pervious performed at and attended over 100 open mics, at different bars, venues, houses etc, and believe me when I say this was one of my all-time favorite. All the musicians were super talented, the host was a pro's pro, and the audience were incredibly supportive & engaging. The space just felt warm, friendly and had a calm yet electric buzz the entire evening. Also, the bartender, Penny, really seemed to set the tone for the entire bar. She is extremely welcoming, witty and just an all-around positive person. You can tell she really enjoys her job and makes sure that her patrons are having a good time. I was sticking to non-alcoholic ginger beer all night and she only charged me $2 each, how kind is that?! All in all, a true gem of a bar with an open mic that I will 1,000% return to.

It tasted like a light, fine lemon drop. We had already eaten but the menus all looked like they were filled with great options. We will create an UYE here..possibly even for a weekend day soon. They offer a very palatable HH and it would be great to return with a group of Yelpers soon.
