Gone are the days of the Brickhouse brewery. Now you have a super classy joint that resides right in Patchogue. A place that, I'm reminded by my husband every time we drive through, use to not be so classy. My sister requested that we have her baby shower here because she was such a fan of the food. And she was right. The food is fresh and delicious and featured in a very well thought out menu. Julien was a pleasure to work with during the preparations. Allowing access to the space during not busy times to help us plan our decorations. Day of it was all hands on deck. Julien, Anna and our amazing bartender with the handlebar mustache exceeded our expectations. The food was incredible. My sister had the best time and that's all that matters. The space just felt warm, friendly and had a calm yet electric buzz the entire evening. Also, the bartender, Penny, really seemed to set the tone for the entire bar. She is extremely welcoming, witty and just an all-around positive person. You can tell she really enjoys her job and makes sure that her patrons are having a good time. I was sticking to non-alcoholic ginger beer all night and she only charged me $2 each, how kind is that?! All in all, a true gem of a bar with an open mic that I will 1,000% return to.
