Service and drinks were excellent. Our waiter, Steven U. was great!! He was able to make suggestions for drinks and a snack that we really enjoyed. My only critique of Artemis is the time limit. We were a party of two and would have enjoyed another drink and snack if we could have stayed longer.

Such a cute place - the decor really takes you back in time - from the furnishings to the glassware - I did have trouble finding the door, luckily a passerby was able to assist. When I walked in my eyes couldn't focus on just 1 thing, everything is beautiful. Once seated the host (Erin) did an amazing job of explaining the menu items both drinks & food. She suggested cocktails and they did not disappoint - can't wait to come back

Artemis is such a cool spot! Walking in and finding the secret door is half the fun. I know a lot of people say it's hard to find, but honestly I thought it was pretty straightforward, just adds to the speakeasy vibe. We made a reservation (which I highly recommend because I've heard it gets packed on weekends), and I'm glad we did. They have a pretty big drinks menu. I ordered the alcohol-free Aperol spritz and it was SO good, super refreshing and not an afterthought like some mocktails can be. The girls in my group tried a few of the specialty cocktails and some of them even came with a little show, which made it extra fun. The owner came over and chatted with us for a bit, such a nice guy and very welcoming. You can tell they really care about the experience. They did let us know that when it's busy, there's a time limit even with reservations, so just plan accordingly if you're going on a packed night. The food was also really good! I wasn't personally a huge fan of the charcuterie board, but the whipped feta dip was AMAZING, definitely order that. If you're in the area and looking for a moody, low-key spot with great vibes, Artemis is absolutely worth checking out!

Had a nice time at Artemis. The vibe, staff, and food were great. I loved my drink; I forgot the name, but it was something "bloom." I had to get two, it was so good! There's couches to sit in and a bar as well. I would suggest making reservations before you go. I would tell you the location but it's a secret! Enjoy!

This is a tough review to write. Why? Because I don't want to give away the secret of this absolutely fantastic speakeasy! Artemis is for real an amazing place from start to finish with extreme focus and attention to detail in everything they do. My wife and I learned this back in early July around her birthday. For starters, Artemis holds true to wanting to create a real Speakeasy experience to the point where if there wasn't a person standing outside to check off your reservation, you might not actually find it! Once you do enter, you haven't really...well, not until you follow some instructions to get into the speakeasy. If that's cryptic, good! Go see for yourself! When you do step into the main bar area, it does feel like you're taken back to a different place and time. The aesthetics are incredible with the vibe never feeling pretentious but rather classically warm, in a secretive speakeasy sort of way. Once seated, my wife and I were treated with some impeccable service from our waiter as well as a few other staff members. Making you feel welcome is definitely in the DNA of this place and that showed all the way to the end (more on that in a sec). First, we ordered up a couple of delicious drinks from Artemis's menu. I had the South Bay Sazerac which was perfectly mixed as it tasted flavorfully strong but with no alcohol bite. My wife got the Pychee which had a nice sweet zing and came with a couple of candies to top it off. You expect a Speakeasy to know how to mix a drink and that was definitely the case here. But what was great about Artemis was that it didn't stop at the drinks. Though not a place for a true dinner, Artemis has a nice selection of varying bites to eat which we decided to sample. Keeping things light at what was a slightly later hour we chose to have the popcorn and the olive salad. They sound simple (and they were), but both hit the spot, especially the variety of olives (and feta/cucumber) thrown into it. Top this off with a complimentary brownie/ice cream (which was warm and delicious) for my wife's birthday and you really get those feels from start to finish. Overall, I'd gladly return to Artemis over and over again. Now that I can locate where the space is and I understand its entry process, I know that this won't take away from the fun way of getting in because once you time travel back to this interior, you'll be in a world of fine drinks, great bites, and service that works hard and wants you to understand what this place is all about. Sorry if I gave away too much, but it needed to happen. Now go see for yourself...if you can find it.

It was our first time to Artemis, and we absolutely loved EVERYTHING about this 'hidden' gem! Our plan was to stop by and have a drink before heading off to dinner, but as soon as we sat down and got our first drinks, that plan changed. We called and pushed back our dinner reservation so we could spend more time enjoying this fantastic spot! The decor draws you back to another time, and the drinks and food were excellent! Even better, was our server Erin! Her knowledge of the drinks and recommendations REALLY made for a fun night! We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Dope spot, something different to station yards that stands alone. Refreshing spot in a sea of redundant chains. Cool vibe, expensive drinks, slow burn.

Great speakeasy with light bites in the beautifully redone Ronkonkoma train station area. The new Station Yards has lots of cool options, and a parking garage that is free for up to three hours to make a visit easy. In true speakeasy fashion, Artemis has minimal signage and is off the beaten path. Half the fun is finding it and getting in, so I won't spoil that for you. If you get spun around, theirs security easy to find who can help direct you. Once you get in, theirs decor is gorgeous and chic - comfy leather seats, fancy ceiling and walls. It's dimly lit, so you may need your cell phone flashlight to read the menu. The staff and GM are amazing, made our visit (with members) such a delight. Food options are great, with more coming! Highly recommend.

This hidden gem is a must-visit. While it may be challenging to find, the effort is worth it. The drinks are exceptional, and the bartenders are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The cozy ambiance makes it the perfect place to unwind and relax.

A speakesy so close to me... I might have to become a member. This place is so classy! I fell in love the moment I stepped in. Great service and thoroughly crafted cocktails. I need to go back asap.

If you're looking for a spot that feels like a secret, but deserves to be shouted from the rooftops, Artemis Speakeasy is it. Tucked away in Ronkonkoma, this place is all about moody vibes, great music, and even better cocktails. Let's talk about the Old Fashioned--hands down one of the best I've had on Long Island. Perfectly balanced, smoky, and subtly sweet with that signature citrus twist. You can tell they don't cut corners here--everything from the hand-cut ice cube to the bourbon selection screams craftsmanship. The ambiance is dark, sultry, and sophisticated. It gives off true speakeasy energy with plush seating, dim lighting, and a playlist that sets the tone without overpowering conversation. It's the kind of place where you come for one drink and end up staying for hours. If you're into expertly made cocktails and a space that feels both upscale and lowkey, Artemis is a must. Bonus points for the bartenders--they know their stuff and make you feel like a regular even if it's your first time. Will definitely be back. And yes, I'm ordering the Old Fashioned again.

I wanted to LOVE this place. Such a cool vibe; cozy, cool, and a perfect date spot. We came as a group of 4 and were sat on time. Here's where things got a little sour. We needed a few minutes to look over the menu - we didn't need 30 minutes though! But ok, the place was busy. Unfortunately, the same thing happened when we were ready for drink #2 - so after spending an hour and a half here and one drink in - our reservation was already coming to an end. Unfortunately - the bad outweighed the good on this one. I hope they can improve the service - this place has so much potential because the drinks were great!

When my boyfriend finally got his steak and eggs, there were more eggs than steak, and the steak was completely bland. My chicken and waffles finally arrived, and I had to wait an additional 10 minutes just to get syrup. The chicken was tasteless and inedible. Everyone at the table agreed the food was bland overall. The only highlights were the mimosas and tater tots. This place has potential, but they need more staff and much more attention to the food quality. The place itself is very nice and has a cool feel to it. It goes really far back and has two bars, with a little stage in the middle for local musicians and performers. In terms of the drinks they serve, they have a lot of good canned craft beer options (not sure what's on tap), that are served in a nice chilled glass. Their cocktails are very creative and taste delicious. My friends got an East meets West (Mezcal, mango puree, fresh lemon, basil simple syrup with tajin chili salt rim & basil leaf) and a Main Squeeze (Blood orange vodka, passion fruit nectar, aperol, elderflower liqueur, lime juice, thyme simple syrup topped with citrus foam & dried rose petals). The east meets west was really good, and the basil really complemented the mezcal in an unexpected way. The main squeeze was also really delicious and tasted like candy, except for a perplexing smokey aftertaste that we couldn't quite figure out. Overall though some very creative and potent cocktails that we definitely want to come back and try more of! My only issue was with how slow the service at the bar in the front was. I feel like those two cocktails shouldn't have taken 15 minutes to prepare (not an exaggeration). Maybe this is an issue with understaffing?
