Visit Date: December 11, 2024 I came here with the guy I'm dating. We like to go to the vinyl nights that Tom Perrone has, with other people from 8 o'clock shot (the best group on facebook). Tom and Maria were hosting a Wednesday night Vinyl Night at Fadely's. This place is so interesting. I couldn't stop looking around at all the decor, everywhere I looked I saw something new tucked into one of the nooks & crannies of the place. It was raining when we went but the outside looked like a great place to be. There was one spot where you can shelter from the rain and they hung an upside down Christmas tree in it. The drink offerings seem to be a wide variety and good choices. I don't drink alcohol so I had my orange juice and seltzer which is one of my go to drinks if I'm not having a non alcoholic beer. Everyone here was nice and friendly including the bartender. I would come here again, a nice place to hang out. read more

Came here on a fall Saturday night for a little night cap after a wedding. From the outside you would hardly expect anything from this place, a real dive bar if there ever was one in Patchogue. But once you get, if you're like me you'll be pleasantly surprised! The place offers live music occasionally and has a ton of space both indoors and out back to hangout, both with TVs in case you have any sport viewing you want to do as well. I definitely recommend the outdoor area if you've got a nice enough night for it. The drink variety won't blow your pants off, but it's got something for everybody and at prices that won't blow your pants off either. Although I didn't get a chance to try any of the food, from what I saw though it looked like good bar fare, and I in particular was eyeing the pizza. There's no dedicated parking lot, but there is some decent parking along the side streets nearby that shouldn't give you too much issue. This place is a nice change up from the typical scene you see a long main street. It might not be the loud and club like vibe you might be looking for, but for me that's quite alright. Would be happy to come back here anytime for a cold hard beverage and good conversation. read more

I went there with some friends on Saturday night Jan 11 to see our friend's band play. It was such a great crowd with good energy. The bartenders were friendly and awesome. We didn't order food, only drinks, but we had a fabulous time and will definitely be back! I would say the only downside is that there is not a lot of parking, but we Ubered there so it didn't affect us. read more

Great Bar!! Bartender Tom is probably the funniest guy I have ever met - wish I was single! Great atmosphere if you just want to lay back.

This is a terrific dive bar! No pretense, no bs, just adecent assortment of cold beers, fun and friendly locals, and, if you're lucky, some live music. Go check it out, be neighborly and you'll fit right in. read more

Where do I start? I am an original member and my name resides in the first book. (Founders book) May not mean much to you unless you know the significance of that. I have my own mug there with my name and am only a short distance away from making the 200 liter club. I moved away from this area many years ago and when I return and tell the counter person my member number they simply do not believe me. (Kinda like a Harry Potter book of spells) the book is then removed and my name is on the yellowed graph paper that marks one x for every half liter consumed. I also have a plaque on the wall with the honorary H added to the true disciples. And you can get a pound of cold cuts and mac salad to bring home. read more

I stumbled upon this place randomly. My girlfriend saw it on yelp (and that they play Grateful Dead music, etc) and that the beers are plentiful. I no longer live on Long Island but have ran or drove by this place a million times. Well, we've been visiting for almost a month and have been there about 5 times so far. It is probably one of my favorite places. Period. I've been in and out of bars from the East Coast to the West Coast. Steve the bartender (and owner) is one of the nicest, laid back guys I've met behind a bar. It's nothing fancy but it's exactly what I look for in a bar. Cold beer and plenty of it. The name Deli Pub is deceiving, there's no food but who needs food when there's a ton of beers to try? For as long as I come back to Long Island to visit family and friends, I will regularly make the trek over to Fadeley's. A story about my first encounter with Steve at Fadeley's: My girlfriend and I take a bike ride up to the bar (maybe around 1pm on a Sunday) to find the door locked. As we were sitting there on our bike's a man walked up and said "hi." We said "hello" back. I asked this man, "are you the owner?" He said, "I might be..." I asked "are you open?" His response: "I can be." So, with all that said, we had ourselves a great first time at Fadeley's. We pulled our bikes in the bar, took a seat, drank some beer and made a new friend. WOW. I have passed by this place for years and NEVER ever went in. Well I went in once last week and let me tell you...AWESOME!!! This was exactly what the doctor ordered. Guys, dont expect girls crawling all over the place. Ladies, dont expect to be talked to ( lol, just kidding ). This place is a perfect man cave. The beers are FANTASTIC, cheap and plentiful. They have like ~200 beers here. There is an emphasis on German and Belgian brews...PERFECT. Because those guys know have to brew a good beer. Go there for the "East Village" feel and great music. Steve the bartender is a 10/10. Service is a bit slow, never rushed and I didnt care. Will deffinetely be here many, many times again. A perfect escape from those pseudo hip trendoid palaces of Patchogue Village. read more

I love this place, but I am sure it is not for everyone. This place caters to a real specific type of clientele. Do you love good beer? Do you like Jam bands? Do you like to "keep it low key"? ... If you answered yes to these questions then you have to give this place a visit., and you won't be disappointed. This is not a place to go to try to 'hook up'. This is not a place to order a mixed drink. Probably not a good idea to go here expecting something to eat, unless you are ok eating random meats served off the BBQ out back in the 'Beer Garden'..... I have seen some strange and wonderful things go down at Fadeley's. A fantastic variety of beer, and an odd assortment of people that I dare say walk a fine line above "derelict" but are innocuous and just out to have a good time. Certainly the only bar in Patchogue with anything close to character, keep your expectations as low as your inhibitions and you'll definitely have something to talk about the next day. read more

Okay, if you like the dead, German beer and a laid back atmosphere, this is your place! There's no deli in the deli pub and if your looking for a mixed drink or liquor, don't look here. With that said if you like great beer, music, people and overall entertainment and atmosphere this is the place. Yuppies be warned: this is not your place (Para Belle down the street is great though, seriously I was yuppish at one point and Para Belle rocks!). If you're a dead head and you don't stop here for a visit; One day you'll hear about how great this place is and unfortunately, you'll feel nothing but shame. read more

The only legit dive bar in Patchogue, I took a star off because they don't have booze - beer and cider only - and another star because they don't have a jukebox and usually have a thoroughly crappy band playing (and the space is way too small for that kind of noise). read more

Enjoyed stopping in on a Thursday night to hear the excellent live music by Shecky and the Twangtones. They've been playing Thursdays regularly, with a strong mix of classic rock, R & B songs and surf guitar tunes. Delightful selection of German beers. Only wish is for the place to expand. It's a bit confining for the amount of people and music going on. Great local crowd at this place, so maybe the close intimacy is a good thing! Looking forward to doing it again. read more

Best pub ever. I've been going here since I was old enough to have a drink legally.

First time i ever went there, i went with a group of friends to see a band preform. My friends were all having good fun, drinking yet respecting the place.. When it got close to closing time, we were waiting for our friends to finish up their drinks so we can leave.. and they yelled at me and my friend to get out because we didn't drink and we didn't spend our money there. To me that's bad business right there, because i would have went back for a brew one of these days too.. read more

I can't believe this spot is still around. I remember taking many trips there when I was 17 and just got my driver's license....that was 30 years ago!!! The ceramic steins were great for banging on the table while the little old man played the accordion in the hallway! I still remember being pulled over on the way home by a police officer who told me to hang on the side of the road and wait till I sobered up before I drove the rest of the way home to stony brook!!!
