Amazing pizza and service. Staff is always friendly and the food is always fresh. My favorite spot to relax and have a drink in Patchogue.

After ordering few beers and appetizers we were constantly asked by our server whether we ready to place another order it was almost borderline harassment to place additional orders. When we did receive the main dishes I was very disappointed in the quality. The chicken panini resembled a chicken burger patty that was both cold and tasteless. Even the cures were cold and slightly soggy. The burgers were slightly better luke warm but cooked and prepared to my guests request. The beers and music made up for a disappointing lunch/dinner. Restaurant featured a full bar along with outside seating overlooking the local marina. Tiki Bar appears to be a local favorite based on the number of customers who were acknowledged by name by the staff and like I said maybe it was an off day for the staff but I'll think I'll stick to the drinks next visit.

Price - ~$75 (appetizer, entree, drink, tip) Food - 2/5 - lacking for the price. Drinks were lacking. Service - 4/5 - friendly and on point. Ambiance - 4/5 - cool vibe inside with rooftop. Overall - 3/5 - did just about everything right except the food. Service was great. Waitress was very friendly, gave recommendations, and fun to have around. Inside of restaurant had a cool vibe and was nice to be in. Rooftop was awesome and the highlight. Unfortunately the food fell short. For the price, it was pretty lacking in taste. Portion were ok but the food was all pretty lackluster. Mussels had curry in them but could barely taste it. Tacos were pretty bland. The drinks barely had alcohol in them? They tasted fine but had 2 drinks and barely felt a thing (I know my tolerance). Unfortunate on the food when it came to here. Likely would not return. Best Dish - None to note Would Return - Probably not

When in search of a place that would make my family of picky eaters happy (ie: a vegan, a…read morevegetarian, a traditionalist, and two that try to make the other three happy but like good food), WhiskeyNeat appeared like a gods-send on Yelp. I've been to Main Street Patchogue a few times before and I'm always amazed at how it's now like Huntington, with tons of eateries, bars and places to hear live music. It was a busy late Spring Friday night and my cousin told me if we were there just two weeks later (ie, post Memorial Day), there would have been lines to get in anywhere. So make resos! I made one easily earlier that day and when we arrived around 7:30, it was not packed, but it is pretty loud in there even half full. Our waiter, Jonathan, expertly took such great care of us from start to finish, even taking my father's dad jokes in stride. There's a solid cocktail menu, but I had a couple glasses of a better-than-decent prosecco. My cousin loved his espresso martini. For food, count on a couple respectable vegan entrees and I went with the Japanese eggplant with cashew ricotta. The eggplant is delicious, slightly sweet with a creamy rather than chewy (thank god) texture. The cashew ricotta is also tasty, but I do think it needed to be blended a bit more to remove the slightly grainy texture (the cashews might have needed more soaking). My father loved his French onion soup and pastrami sandwich. Separate paragraph for the fries. They deserve it. I'm glad we ordered these to share- it's an enormous platter of them. I appreciated that they were salted perfectly. I appreciate restaurants that can make satisfy a variety of preferences and dietary restrictions. The vibe here is festive and vibrant and a great choice for groups and families.

On top of that, my damn car decided to up and die, so I've been bleeding money on Ubers just to get to and from work. I even had to go into work on my day off just to sit around waiting for the tow truck so they could junk it. Love that for me. After I handled business with the junkers, I said eff it and headed to Whiskey Neat. I was starving--no breakfast, running on fumes--and since my job's in Patchogue, I figured I'd finally try them for lunch. First of all... happy hour on a Saturday from 12-6?! Uhhh hello?? In my Angelina from Jersey Shore voice. And if you pay cash, you get the discount. Say less. They've got a fabulous small plates menu. I started with the French onion soup--ooey gooey mozzarella, cheese pull was undefeated. Soup was delicious too. I haven't had French onion in ages and it really hit. Then I had the pulled pork slider, which was really good, but BABY... those short rib croquettes? To. Die. For. I also had to get my classic deviled eggs. A little heavy-handed on the paprika, but still solid. Drinks were half off, so of course I indulged. Started with an espresso martini because I needed something to jumpstart my day. Then I had a French martini because duh--I'm a French girl ‍. That one was good. Finished with my classic cosmo. Not gonna lie, I've had better, but it did what it needed to do and helped me forget my troubles for a couple hours. Also great playlist of music. I got there and they were playing Ska. Love me some Reel Big Fish and No Doubt. Mixed with some Motown and Bob Marley. Made me remember the good old days.

The hero roll was a fresh, seeded semolina bread--crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The chicken cutlet was generously sized and fried to perfection. The cheese was plentiful, and the sandwich wasn't overloaded with sauce. When I opened the bag and saw the hero, I was pleasantly surprised. At $13, it was a substantial sandwich and a good value. Many restaurants charge similar prices but skimp on the filling, leaving you with little more than a bread sandwich. On my first bite, I immediately noticed the tangy, acidic tomato sauce. While many people enjoy a bright, acidic sauce, it's not my personal preference. I also encountered a chewy bite, likely from the tendon that sometimes runs through a chicken tenderloin. It's the tough white cord-like strip that can occasionally make its way into a sandwich. Overall, I'd rate this sandwich an 8/10 for value but only a 5/10 for flavor. While the portion size and quality of the bread and chicken were impressive, the sauce wasn't to my liking. Unfortunately, I won't be back.
