The lot was very full on this Football Sunday and we were sat right away. Our server was nice enough and took good care of us. We had to try the wings after seeing some pics and they were fantastic. Piping hot and crispy without asking. Garlic parm and awesome flavor. Meaty too. For my meal I had the Grilled Chicken Caesar wrap and it was massive and delicious. It's a nice sports bar in a shady looking location, who cares? They have giant TVs that make it enjoyable to watch whatever sport event is on. I came here for a ranger game so the entire place was packed with ranger fans. We were seated right away even though it was busy. I love love fried pickles so of course I had to try them, but I have to say they were a little on the thick side, so just alright. I have to say I really really liked their guac and chips. I feel like these chips were so crunchy and thin that it really made me want to eat the entire thing. I prefer these thin crispy tortilla chips to those hard thick ones. We also ordered wings. And I got a salad, I asked for it to be topped with crunchy onions. I have to say it was surprisingly good. Getting a salad in a bar can be sus, but this one was good! Welcome to the area! My husband and I dined here LATE on a Sunday night two weeks go. We came on a whim after seeing the restaurant sign lit up on Sunrise Highway. I've never heard of this place and was excited to see the grand opening was only a few days before we dined. We walked in and noticed the large, clean restaurant area with multiple LARGE flat screen TVs displaying multiple football games. I ordered chicken fingers and fries and my husband ordered nachos. Both were amazing and totally hit the spot! My chicken fingers and fries were extremely hot and fresh and my husband raved about his nachos. The staff was very nice and there were a few groups at the bar having a great time. We discussed how awesome this spot would be with a group of friends on a Friday night. We were told by our waitress--multiple times--that happy hour was available and that the items we ordered were included. When the bill came, not a single item was discounted. Paid full price for nasty food. We brought this up, and instead of making it right, the manager told us there was nothing they could do. How is that acceptable? We saw that Canz had opened via a community Facebook page, and had to check it out. I believe we were there about a week or two after they opened. I'm from Sayville, and this is the type of Sports Bar which I felt was missing in this area. It's right off sunrise highway so it's super easy to get to and they have a large parking lot. I went with my fiancé and my parents for dinner on a Saturday night. The restaurant is big, plenty of tables, and the bar is huge with a lot of beers on tap. There are so many TVs, it's amazing. You can watch something no matter where your table is. I really want to check it out on a football Sunday & plan on watching the big sports events here. After looking at the menu (which had so many great options), we decided we would get a few rounds of appetizers to split. We had fried pickle chips, pretzel bites, fried mac n cheese balls, pigs in a blanket, 2 types of wings (garlic parm & sweet chili) as well as spinach and artichoke dip. We had not one complaint about these apps, and I thought their garlic parm wings were top notch. I saw so many dinners being served to the surrounding tables, all of the burgers and wraps looked delicious. Next time I go, I'll be trying chicken Bacon ranch wrap that I saw. They had a lot of specials as well, but it's more tricky to understand how those discounts work compared to some other places that run happy hours specials. The other nice thing was that it looked like they had 3 bouncers who were working (Saturday night) which is always nice to see it's a safe environment. read more

Large TVs on every wall, pool table, dart boards, other games, and an insane happy hour! $3 wine, fireball, and other items. $4 and $5 happy hour specials that were insane as well. $5 happy hour included boneless wings, loaded fries, nachos, Mac and cheese bites, quesadillas, and pretzel bites. We got 2 orders of wings which come with 7 boneless wings per order. What a amazing deal!!! I got 2 fireball and cokes for $3 each and my gf got a Pinot Grigio for also $3. Our bill was $21! The vibe inside the place was awesome. Large garage style door that was open for fresh air, tv's everywhere, and the staff was polite and helpful. My friends and I love this place, so I kind of want to gatekeep it, however, the owners deserve all the praise for putting together such a great place, Canz is super clean and spacious. Drinks are poured strong and the portion sizes are huge. Bartenders and servers are some of the kindest I've met. We always enjoyed going here until yesterday. It was a busy day at Canz with 2 playoffs and a Mets game on. We were fine with the crowd. They seated us right away and within a few min the waitress came over and took our drink order and appetizer. After that it went down hill. We waited forever to get her to take our food order. 2 other waitresses came over and asked if we were being helped and the man who sat us asked if we were ok and said sorry to us. Even he knew we were waiting to long. Our waitress finally took our order after a few attempts of waving her down. Our food never came and she never came to us to let us know the kitchen was backed up. Meanwhile we see the manager doing shots with a party which he said was his friends birthday.
