This is a solid 3.5 but I'm rounding it up bc I know there's potential. I'm just gonna get right into it. The tacos were really good with many different kinds. I had the shrimp and cauliflower tacos and the sauces and ingredients were fresh. The drinks were eh. My wife's margarita with the lack thereof tajin was not what she expected. It was very "artificial" kinda like a Applebees dollar marg. Finally, the dude behind the bar which may have been the owner was super cool but the 3 chics also behind the bar were almost useless. Just standing around waiting to take your empty plate. Put them to make drinks! Once those 2 factors are worked on this place would be a smash hit. Till then I'm only there for those 2 tacos

On a day visit to Sea Cliff, we were delighted to come across Campground Craft Beer Market…read more The down stairs is a very European style, open space with a cozy lounge area near the sunny window and a community table into the room. There was a cool sign that reset every now and then as a train station would, with different messages & details. Upstairs, you'll find another very European style cafe with open sides that are ground level with ample space for gatherings and I am sure, even music. On this day, there was to be an Oktoberfest, but we were a few hours early and did not return to see how it was, but I bet it was a nice event. Nice coffee menu, interesting and unique signature drinks..one of which was a Shakerato..get this Espresso, condensed milk, saline, orange shaken and poured over ice. it was so delicate and well made, the subtle hint of orange and a gentle sweetness. There is a small menu, and some baked goods. A place like this in such a beautiful setting makes me want to leave closer, but thankful this is only a reasonable car ride away. Between Still Partners and The Onion Tree, there is certainly reason to return again soon.

Schnitzels Stony Brook, NY…read more@eatschnitzels Schnitzels is a German-American gastropub known for its awesome variety's of schnitzel, German beer, and pub fare. They are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and serving up amazing meals at each. Choose from 5 different gravies and then your schnitzel. Traditionally served with pork or veal, but they do have chicken or eggplant as well! I went with the classic Weinershnitzel which is traditionally served with veal schnitzel and served with brown gravy. Lindsey got the Chicken Rahmschnitzel which is schnitzel topped with a creamy white reisling-infused mushroom gravy. Both were filled with flavor and we were very impressed! All schnitzel is served with spätzle, seasonal vegetables, and red cabbage. This was the definition of a comfort meal that. We started with their Bavarian Cheese Board, and classic German appetizers - potatoes pancakes paired with this insane apple butter, and potato dumplings with your choice of gravy. We loved the vibe in there. Great pub style feel but also nice indoor and outdoor eating. Our server Eden was amazing and such a great help! We truly loved this place and we can wait to go back! Fantastic food and super kind and attentive service- even when the restaurant was super packed!…read more The live music really set the tone for awesome vibes in this adorable little restaurant in Stony Brook Village. I absolutely loved my Maple Old Fashioned, the cheese curds, and my Reuben sandwich. The desserts were decent but nothing crazy. I would probably skip dessert next time! Overall, a must visit and a spot I have been to before and will be at again!

I was unaware that it's open from 6:30 AM to 4 AM every day with full food holy crap what a great option we walked in and they had karaoke and like a Spanish Irish flag Alice the owner is Irish and her children. I have Mexican. What a great combination totally inclusive for this place parking on the street so that's a little tough I had the fish and chips and they're hot chocolate so good the bartender Val was very nice as well and he was quick to get her food order in and very nice if you bilingual speak only Spanish or speak on English this is a place for you a little team I believe on the weekdays so I'm gonna check it out that day because there was a lot of music going on!

My father thought the burger and fries were good. I did enjoyed the fries a lot. However, the fish and chips is the greasiest, wet fried fish I ever saw. Really unappealing look. I tried to eat the fish which was very soft but dripping wet. Complained about it snd got it taken off. I would try a different dish and strongly urge you to pass the fish and chips. Zoom in on the plate and look at the pond of oil.
