This place used to be great! Wings used to be big and delicious. Now they have cheaped out on everything.The food is still good but expect to pay top notch! I came here recently with a bunch of buddies and we spent $800 and the manager didn't even bother with one buy back. The manager Eric told us that his staff did their job and he didn't care that we spent $800. When I tried to talk to him about it he was completely unreasonable and said that his staff did their job. She disappeared, didn't come back over to us to place our food order. We had to call her over. She bought us our food and didn't check on us not once. They forgot the side of ketchup and an extra side of sauce which I ordered. She didn't come over to ask us if we wanted another drink. Again, we had to flag her down. We also asked for the check and she disappeared. She barely said two words to us our whole visit. We couldn't get her attention nor did she ever look over at us. My girlfriend loved the chocolate martini's from here. I just went with a few local Long Island ipa's. We ordered a pretzel for an appetizer that was big enough to feed 4 people and was very good. When I first got here it smelt bad of weed. Which upset my stomach a bit because it doesn't really agree with my stomach. I came around 3:15 and about 3:30 the smell was gone. The high top was a bit tight so I chose the table, which was nice The server I had I didn't hear her introduce herself but when I asked what she suggested for drinks and food, she said for drinks she likes the spicy watermelon sugar high and for food suggested buffalo soldier (which I was a chicken dish), chicken cutlet wrap, and the Bavarian crunch burger. I chose the Bavarian crunch burger and took her suggestion on the drink. The drink was spicy but was nice, and the Bavarian crunch burger was delicious!! Every time I've been on Main Street, I've always seen a great crowd at Changing Times. We decided to go there for dinner tonight. It's your typical bar, but it's nicely done, and has many TVs, they also have a nice yard area with and outdoor bar and TVs. They have a large local beer selection which is really great to see. We decided to order the poo poo platter, which is their sampler. It comes with a handful of their apps which was great to try a little bit of everything as it was our first time there. Everything was great. We then split the chicken cutlet wrap. While it's a very simple wrap, it was absolutely delicious. There were a lot of other things we wanted to try, and we look forward to try more option in the near future. This is definitely a place we see ourselves coming to often with friends. read more

What happened!! Changing times is changing! The last time I was here was during Hurricane Irene. It was a greasy spoon sports bar and the only place open so we suffered through it. Well last night everything was closed so we decided to reticently try CT. We are so glad we did! They were closing in one hour and when we ordered food, it came out quick, fresh and delicious! So surprising! They changed their menu, including beer selections. Whoo hoo, I am sold! The hell with Bud bring on craft beers. The salad was fresh with homemade blue cheese dressing. I always just considered Changing Times a bar that we bounced to when drinking down Main Street in Bay Shore. It's not. It's more! The food was awesome.. I got a salad with grilled chicken, which was massive, and I would absolutely get again! My Dad got the Bavarian Crunch Burger. There are a million burger options on Long Island, and I will 10/10 get this burger again. Pretzel bun, perfectly juicy and cooked. The cheese fries were also delish. Asked for gravy on the side, which was perfect. They have the Schwartz sandwich. My sister and my mom each got one, and I would absolutely get those again too. We moved to the island from queens a few years back and it's hard finding pubs with great food/great environment/ great staff and decent prices...until we finally came across this place one evening at the town weekly fair on Tuesday's.. had the pleasure of meeting Nicole the waitress who took care of us. We were hungry so the food was great. We need to return to make sure it wasn't just the hunger that made the food taste great. We went on a rainy day..the food was still great once again and once again Nicole was there to take care of us.. we've been there numerous times now and have enjoyed the food everytime. I've been to this location twice after going to Robert Moses beach because it's open later than some places. It's a sports bar pub place so expect many screens. It's not for a quiet experience but it's a great place to bring a group. Beer on tap though expect plastic cups for everything right now. Burgers, sandwiches, fried stuff. Went here in Cinco De Mayo on a whim. The original plan was to go to a different bar across the street but there were no available tables. Over all it was a fun night but I wasn't overly impressed with anything at this establishment. The music was extremely loud, there's no singing so I don't know why, but we had to tell the whole evening to be able to hear each-other. The severs were sweet and fast but they seemed a little messy , I know it's a casual vibe but I think a put together look would be better especially when food is being served. We ordered patron margaritas, I'm not sure if they used patron or not. When we had the second drink it tasted completely different from the first. We had nachos with the shredded chicken and buffalo wings, neither of which were great. They were just ok. I wouldn't go back here if I could plan for it. Fire the rude skinny blonde bartender. When it gets busy in there she gets irritated and does not care about customer service. Talks down to her patrons or maybe just me. Drove into Bayshore and popped in here for some lunch. I was happy to see they have a lunch special which was a cheeseburger and fries for $7. The burger was pretty run of the mill but everything came out hot and pretty quickly which was nice being that I was on a time limit. They have a decent selection of taps to choose from also. Food was delicious but the service was really bad. I think we had the hostess serving our high top right next to the host stand. I don't think she's actually a server, her name was Sam. She didn't once take a dirty dish off of our table, we had to ask another waitress for drinks and I guess she relayed the message to Sam and she just got us the same drinks but didn't ask us if we wanted different drinks. (We both would have ordered different drinks had we had the option) everyone else was hustling and she was just seating people but somehow ended up serving us unfortunately.
