We recently had my Baby Shower in the upstairs room at Napper Tandy's. The staff couldn't have been nicer as we were setting up and getting things out at the end of the celebration. The food was impeccable. We did a buffet but sit down options are also available. My guests are still talking about how lovely it was weeks later. If you want to plan an event at Napper Tandy's I highly recommend checking out the upstairs room. It was a dream day all because of Napper Tandy's!! read more

This place is huge - there's a lot of different areas - the indoor bar is massive - there are accordion doors in the front that open to the street, connecting the outdoor seating. This is a great sports bar - there are a ton of TV's everywhere - also multiple draft beer selections to choose from - we also had the buffalo wings which were very tasty - con: the customer service is lacking - the bar wasn't full it was a slow night, yet it was hard to get a drink - the bartender was hanging out at the end of the bar with the regulars- and didnt check in much with us - thank goodness another bartender showed up and he was attentive read more

used to be worth it. just went w my bf we got two drinks each, and one shot of casamigos each. $85. the bill said they charged us $9 a shot! and they didn't have glass shot glasses was this tiny little plastic thing you put like ketchup in. what a joke won't be back read more

Love this place! The vibe is very relaxed and a great place to watch a game. The burger was great too

Honestly there are plenty of bars on this strip with security who aren't a holes. Mike is super nice but this one particular security guard is such a smart ass and rude to LADIES. I asked him a simple question and it turned into him acting like I was stupid trying to get in for free. I went to leave and he's calling me to come back as if he knew what he did was wrong. I tried this bar twice and dealt with the same guy. Couldn't be more disappointed because this place is nice on the inside and really calm with no issues. I don't mind paying a door fee either, but when your security are rude as hell, I'd rather take my business somewhere else. read more

Great spot. Love the design and the service. The food is great bar food, nice drink options too. Went to an event upstairs and that was really great. Well run and a nice selection of passed apps. Love this spot!! read more

Memorial Day and while the venue didn't have the normal crowd spilling out - nice bar crowd and timely service. All tables sporting flags and showing some national pride. Angry Orchard & Magners helped whet our whistles. My boo had a plain old hamburger... not my cup of tea but... enjoyed the sunshine, dining Al Fresco and relishing in the day. Street parking with meters, patio in the back as well as outdoor seating in the front for perfect people watching seats. Priced accordingly- plenty of tap options and full bar. Upstairs can be used for private parties and large groups. read more

Went to a good friends 70th there tonight in the upstairs room, and everything was excellent. Food, service, excellent. Better than I expected. Would book a future party there for sure!! read more

Don't dismiss this spot bc of the low 3 stars. There's a wide selection of beer on tap! Which is always great! The servers are awesome and the food....well, it's bar food! It was pretty good! Blackened shrimp on flatbread w real chunks of avocado w/chipotle sauce, boneless bbq wings, jumbo pretzels, shrimp tacos, Mac n cheese were all great! There's also a lot of tv screens! read more

I've been here quite a few times but Sunday, December 6th was terrible, not for the food or the drinks because I had a pulled pork sandwich which was good and the beers on tap were fresh. The BIG issue was this establishment allowed people to walk away from their table without their masks on, they were over serving patrons who were visibly wasted, and two had fallen on the floor. One of these patrons continued to invade me and my fiancé personal space without a mask, was not 6 feet away and we had to continuously tell him that he needed to put a mask on and to not get close to us. This made us feel unsafe given the current climate and while everybody else was doing the right thing. At the same time, the same guy was leaning on the bar so hard because he could hardly stand that he was pushing the clear bar divider into another patron. These particular patrons who were next to us were upset and wound up leaving because this man kept leaning and pushing the divider into them. Just the fact that these individuals were still served and not asked to leave was beyond ridiculous. I liked it here before but I don't think I'll return when they allow things like this to go on during a pandemic. read more

it's an absolute shame that nappers has become what it has. the security here needs a reality check. they're "guarding" a local bar not the pentagon. they're extremely hostile with young women and once they're called out on it they suddenly become apologetic? seriously not worth the visit especially considering they're the only bar on main street that charges a cover. the music is lacking and all over the place and it's nearly impossible to get served here. when you do eventually get served it becomes a game of the price is right and depending on the bartender the prices for the same drink will continuously vary. there is no reason for the price of a green tea shot to change throughout the night depending on who your bartender is, it's super shady and speaks volumes on the training within this establishment. if you do go here, definitely check your receipts. i would really recommend whoever owns this place sending in some secret shoppers to see what is really going on at night and why alot of their business is going to surrounding bars. none of the security guards at other businesses nearby are condescending or trying to assert dominance on young women. read more

So I got to napper at 7 o'clock my waitress said she'd be right back. I just walked out at 7:30 went up to the bartender and told him that I will not come back here anymore that he lost a customer. He didn't charge me for my two drinks, but how do you leave two people outside and not even come back to take their order and I watched my waitress walk out the door and go home read more

Excellent! Ambience, cleanliness. , staff, and drink. Lots of beers on tap. Had a few different pumpkins with the rim. Bartenders very knowledgeable, great pours, friendly service. The food we ate was soo yummy. We had a prosciutto and fig flatbread, fantastic. I had a chicken taco bowl, awesome. Good portions. Hubby had some kind of burger with these ridiculously great French fries. Not sure if they're air fried or what , but unique. Bar is very wide and big. Place rocks and they do parties . Private room for like 25 . Then upstairs they also do parties. Definitely coming back. So much better than Tap Room. read more

Celebrated our 50th anniversary party in their upstairs private room on 4/19. Our guests had a wonderful time. Brendan from Nappers did a terrific job in helping us arrange the party and Courtney and the rest of the staff were terrific. Their appetizers and main buffet meals were excellent and delicious. I wouldn't hesitate for a minute to book another party here. Well worth it!! read more

We sat outside had some drinks and lunch. Potato soup is very good and the shrimp po boy sandwich was worth the visit alone. Didn't expect bar food to be as good as it was. read more

We don't eat meat other than fish and their Key West fish sandwich and custom salmon sandwich were out ofnthe world. Definitely the best sweet fries I've ever had. We customized both sandwiches with avocado and a fried egg and we couldn't be more Content. Live music was even more lot and drinks are delicious. Vinny was specially amazing in hooking us up with everything we described we wanted!! I don't know how this place is 2.5 stars on yelp, people are clearly being trolls. read more

Went here with a group of 7. Bartenders were great and we got our drinks fast. We ordered food and it was great.

Left my card at the bar and left right before closing. While the door was still unlocked I asked if they could check for my card at the bar as I left it on my bill. They refused to check and said I would have to come back in the morning even thought I live in Westchester. The bartenders literally took there time to come over came to say they couldn't do anything...... what a joke as they just stand around doing nothing for minutes on end. Couldn't be nicer and more considerate all night. 8 employees just hanging around the door worrying about some drunk breaking there glass but not one can help a sober fellow get home. Very unfortunate. Staff is very rude, drinks are very over priced, and this place is extremely overrated not worth your time. read more

First time in here and already I knew I'd be coming back to this Pub. Solid atmosphere surrounded by a ton of sports on big screens and the bartenders were on point all night. The Fish and Chips are tremendous and the menu is definitely way above your average bar food kind of place. If you find yourself in the Bay Shore area and your looking for a killer place to imbibe with some Great food and Good vibes you need to get your ass over here. read more

My favorite bar as the vibe changes depending on the night you're here. Fridays and Saturdays there is a a dj and they turn the lights down at 9:30 for a club atmosphere. Weeknights are more chill and you can have a conversation. Food is great. Being used to city prices, the drinks are cheap compared to what I'm used to. Regulars are fun. Staff is friendly. Big nice clean bathrooms! Party room upstairs. Public parking out back. read more

I went to Napper Tandys for my cousins birthday. We are an extremely mixed family. The fair/Caucasian side of my family did not get charged while the darker skin side of my family did. It felt very racist and did not make sense. I will NEVER come back here !!! We felt so out of place and uncomfortable. They need to work on treating EVERYONE the same!!! read more

My experience here is always pleasant, the drinks are good and food is expected for a bar. I've noticed the boneless wings are very hard, don't bother with them. It's happened twice now. Device is always attentive and drinks tasty. I usually visit at lunch time or happy hour so I never experienced the evening crowd. read more

Rented the room upstairs for a private event. The event couldn't have gone better. Staff was extremely attentive, friendly and cheerful. We had extra guests arrived last minute so staff sprang into action and put together a table before anyone even noticed they were doing it! They were very patient and went out of their way to make everyone comfortable. The bartender was very kind and sociable. Even the owner jumped in and got his hands wet on the carving station. Looking forward to having future events at Napper Tandy's read more

Walls of TVs that you can actually hear, great food that is a big step above bar wood, & awesome wings make this my game night spot. The servers are attentive (Kim's my favorite!!!) and the decor is clean and sharp. Order the giant pretzel, the wings (hot), and the steak sandwich! read more

Almost the worst experience ever, actually the worst. Gave this place another try. I know it's football Sunday however, sat at the bar for 15 minutes watching the barmaid look at her phone laughing. Walking back and forth while we sat there looking like idiots. She then proceeds to go the end of the bar and look at her phone again, actually leans against the bar to look at her phone . Now I know why this place is empty all the time except on football days. It's sad that there's customers out there that have to experience such bad service. Just as bad that there's establishments that are normally empty every other day taken for granted by bad employees. Get a manager, to reel in your awful staff. Hate bashing my hometown, but come on!! Bye Nappers. Never again read more

Always a great time with amazing service. I have had two really fun experiences here and thus far thy have both been great. Most recently my cousin was married this Saturday night and we celebrated in the upstairs room at Napper Tandy's. Everything was wonderful! The food was delicious with so many options. They had o'douvers such as mini reubens, fried rice balls, vegetable rolls. Even the buffet and carving station were just as good. The room is outstanding with plenty of room on the dance floor. They had the best music. The staff was so attentive as friendly. They worked really hard to make it a fun evening. I loved how they used the tv's to broadcast the photos throughout the night. I highly recommend Napper Tandy's if your looking to have a great private party. read more

Always a great time at Nappers! Gets super busy on holidays and weekends. Sometimes they have live music but regardless it's a good place to dance on the weekends. Bartenders are nice and the drinks are strong. I haven't really eaten here but tried the calamari and it was delicious(besides the fried lemon lol) read more

I've been here before but this was my first time back in a while. The guy at the door was very friendly , told us a few rules and sat us at a table. We originally were going to sit inside. I liked how they wiped everything down in front of you just to make you feel more comfortable. We ended up sitting outside and ordered an app and drinks. The mozzarella sticks were very crispy. Could have used more cheese inside. They have a lot of drink choices from beer to spiked seltzer. They served them in plastic cups even if you ordered a beer by the bottle ..Maybe they didn't want glass outside? Downside when receiving the drinks she grabbed each drink by the rim. read more

Beer was cold and food was good. We ordered the monster pretzel as an appetizer. It came out nice and warm with the dipping sauces. The burgers were delicious... very hardy. Overall a great place. read more

Great spot! I've been to quite a few Napper's locations, but this is hands down my favorite! I haven't had a thing on their menu that I didn't like yet. Poutine- effing A AWESOME, salad wraps- they don't come assembled so it's a little work but still delicious, beet salad was great, pulled pork was really good too-add a slice of cheddar, bangin. Oh, and dessert, mini chipwiches, SO GOOOOOOOD!!! Something like 20 taps with a good array of beers, they're not ALL IPAs! Interesting liquor choices too- Montauk blueberry whiskey- all the yeses Bartenders are super kind and very accommodating- shout out to Joe, he rules! Poker nights on Wednesday at 7 with the wing special at 8, couldn't be better read more

Been to this bar a few times. It's a pretty "middle of the road" bar. Drinks are good and music is usually good to dance to. Definitely tends to be a younger crowd at night. They tend to be collecting a cover which non of the other bars in bay shore have been doing since the start of covid. Overall it's a good bar to stop in and grab a drink if your in the area. read more

On August 19, 2023 we had our daughter's bridal shower at the Bayshore location. From the moment we met Brendan to discuss having the shower there to the day of and working with Shannon, I can only say how grateful and happy we were with Everything! Shannon worked with me to make the day wonderful and I can't thank her enough. The room was perfect, the food was delicious and everyone had a good time. There was an elevator that came in handy bringing decorations in and for those who climbing stairs was difficult. I definitely would come back for other occasions. Both Brendan and Shannon were very accommodating and available for any questions I had along the way. read more
