My family had the repast after my mother's funeral here. Norma, the catering manager, helped me with the options and menu selection for it. Once we arrived, she couldn't be more helpful and caring. Her assistant Alyssa went above and beyond to make an emotional day better. The food was delicious and everyone was commenting about it. The service was outstanding and the price cannot be beat. Nice bar and grill that features multiple party rooms, perfect for multiple types of events. Have been here for a 1st and 4th birthday party, and both were great. They allow soft play set ups inside, which is perfect for the kids. Food wise everything was rather good. The irish chicken and caesar salad were my favorite. Service was decent. read more

The food is ok, I ordered Buffalo wings, not special, not that spicy. The atmosphere is like a college style Irish bar, not a authentic NYC style bar. Just a large open venue with a straight bar front to back. I think seeing palm tree plants inside the front window confused the feeling of an Irish bar. The service was good, 1 bartender & it was a slow Tuesday afternoon with what seemed to be a regular bar crowd, maybe 6 other patrons. Great spot for a party. I had my child's first birthday party here and also attended a friend's child's first birthday here. I also had a small birthday party for my husband here a few years ago at the bar area. They do a really great job with everything from set up, to food etc. They give a lot of choices to choose from food wise and honestly I have been impressed with the food for being an Irish pub. I personally wouldn't come here just to eat, only if it was an event. Just due to atmosphere being loud/bar scene etc. However, awesome option for a nice and affordable party venue! Went here tonight with my husband and sister. We sat at a table for over 20 minutes and no one ever came over to serve us at all. The place wasn't packed, the bartenders looked over at us multiple times and then went right back to drinking and looking at their phones. Our Winter Onederland first birthday at Napper Tandy's was a success. We weren't sure how it was going to go but I have to admit that they did a really amazing job. The staff was beyond attentive, eveyone was commenting how great their were. And the food was very good, everyone liked it and commented that it was great so that was a bonus. Between their decorations and ours the place looked terrific. If you are looking for a place to host and event go see them. We could not be happier with the job they did. The Napper Tandy's, BayShore offers great service to meet your catering needs. I recently was a guest attending a bridal shower and more recently a baby shower. With both occasions, we were seated upstairs which easily accommodates 50-60 people. There is natural lighting from the side closet to Main Street. The tables were beautifully set and appropriately spaced. TV monitors were made available to add a family vibe which we all enjoyed. There is a long bar area for drinks at one end and coffee at the other end. The food was served buffet style to the opposite end of the room. Tried to book a party there. The coordinator Norma spoke with me, told me my date was available, went over the menu, and had her bartender show me the room. When I tried to pay my deposit she dodged all my calls and texts . After days of ignoring me, she calls me back to tell me she gave away my party room. Very unprofessional. Days prior, my parents had eaten at the restaurant since we were excited to be having our party there . When they got there, no one was there to seat them. They waited and finally went up to the bartender to ask to be seated. The bartender was acting as the hostess, bartender, and waitress for the entire restaurant. Was truly disappointed in my experience at this establishment last night. It seemed like there was one waitress who served as the bartender/waitress/hostess. Although she did apologize for the slow service as there was a party going on next door, but to wait what seemed like 45 minutes before we ordered our food (after flagging down the waitress) then another half an hour for our food to come, was just a disappointment. So let me tell you about "Napper Tandy's of Smithtown". This is a full bar with a kitchen, that accepts credit cards as payment, and shares it's parking lot with neighboring businesses. As you enter, you'll notice that the place has two separate sections. One can be used for hosting events and catering. The other is for the public to use abs watch live sports games. They have about 8 beers on tap if not more, with plenty of bottled beer, canned beer, hard liquors, and wine in-stock. They have a large selection of food to pick from and drink specials. They offerFree WiFi, Multiple Big Screen TV's, and occasionally, they'll have Live Music playing here. When I first approached this bar, I was a bit lost. Unfamiliar place, 3000 miles away from home, and there seemed to be a private BBQ event at the front patio of the bar (which I would later find out was for-purchase and everyone welcome). I seated myself at one of the corners of the bar and found myself in some prime real estate since I was in the area closest to the patio. There was plenty of seating elsewhere, but the bar was the spot to be. Service at the bar was a bit of a disappointment. I would not be noticed or acknowledged by the bartender for quite some time. The age group of this bar was mixed from older flojoes to young yuppies but being right in the middle of those groups ended up with myself not so popular with the waitstaff here. When ordering my food, i would not even be sure if my order was heard since i would be ordering and the waitress would suddenly be walking away as i was talking. For the longest time, i wasn't sure if i would get my entire order. My fish and chips came out cold and par in quality, but the French onion soup was cheesy and made the experience a bit better. I would hear conversation of some of the bartenders working in areas where they were not supposed to. Customers being ignored as a result of this is unacceptable. Waitress was totally overwhelmed, going back and forth to her friends she told to come. Pretzel and soup took 25 minutes. Beer took 15 minutes. It's a pub...It's a bar. And they are super friendly when your friend is incredibly drunk and decides to dance on the bar top and then well...you know how nights like that end up. They gave us heaps of water and stayed open longer so that we could sort ourselves out (oh yeah, there was some pantslessness going on too for the Birthday boy). All in all, a pretty great time. Terrible experience. Went there with my boyfriend and his friend to have a couple of drinks and dance our night away . No matter where we stood by the bar we were ignored several times . I was excited to try this place but it fell short. First, the live music was terrible and incredibly loud. We had to scream over the music to have dinner conversation and we were not seated close to the entertainment. The nachos came and the meat on top was mushy and unseasoned. I ordered the goat cheese salad with grilled shrimp. The shrimp tasted like burnt seafood and I believe they mixed blue cheese with the goat cheese, which totally ruined the taste of the goat cheese. My husband ordered a steak sandwich which he enjoyed (I did not taste it) The service was slow, but friendly. The thing that got me the most was the ants. At the end of the meal when they cleared our plates, a group of ants had covered our napkins. On closer inspection (with our phone lights) we saw them crawling all around the ketchup bottle.
