It's a low-key, cool bar setting with the regulars all at the bar. We went into the next room to set at a table and dine. The bartender/waiteress was so friendly and helpful. We started with a beer, smithwicks, my fav and mozz bites. The red sauce that came with it was so tasty, thick and had chuncks of garlic throughout. Definitely made the mozz even better. For the main we ordered the fish and chips, which was okay. I enjoyed the thin yet crispy batter and the fries were good. We also had the corned beef and cabbage, which was personal fav..the corned beef was tender and juicy, the cabbaged was cooked perfectly and mash potatoes were creamy. I would stop by Kitty's for some food again.

(I just hope that you give a break to places that suck right now) Covid stuff (for those who care): the bar has dividers, the staff all have on masks and social distancing is the norm. I've been here with friends where we all shared apps, awesome bar stuff we know and love. So you won't go wrong here. I have had the cheesesteak twice. It's not the run of the mill version. This has real meat, peppers, onions, and the perfect amount of cheese. It's not a soggy mess. It's pretty damn amazing. And disclaimer. I spend about 1/3 the year in PA where they claim to be the kings of the cheesesteak. They obviously haven't been here yet. The service. Always awesome. The bartenders are very attentive and make sure you are enjoying your time there. They also have a daily happy hour, I think it was 15% off your bill if you go during the day time. Remember to tip according to your original bill. That 15% isn't a discount on the server. Bookmark this place and really enjoy solid local place.

Since discovering TJ's, I've attended multiple events such as their Oktoberfests, their Pumpkinfests, their New Years Eve party and of course their St. Patrick's Day celebrations. For each big event they throw, they always provide extra porter potties, which is great since their bathrooms are small. They always make sure they have extra staff on to accommodate the masses of people. During the weekdays they have different specials when it comes to beer and food. On Tuesday nights they have trivia night, which is a blast but it starts around 9 and can go pretty late. Overall I definitely recommend TJ's if you're looking to go some where that you don't have to get dressed up for, that has a relaxed environment and stellar staff.

The salmon O'Brien was amazing. The sauce was amazing and I loved everything about it. The filet mignon as well. It was nice too how they came with a free small Caesar salad or garden salad. You can always find the bartender Sean there on a Friday night and he'll make you feel like a regularly by remembering what you drink. The entire bar staff is solid, and they're quick and efficient even when they may be a person down. If you're looking for something fancy, this is definitely not the place for you, but if you're looking for a small, intimate dive bar with good food, this is it. The only downside is since the bar is small, the bathroom situation is rough. There's only one stall in the women's room, so if it's busy, be prepared to wait. Crispy onions and scallions I chose the Cuban and when they say Colossal they meant it. It could easily feed 2 even 3 people. The pork was outstanding, the ham a bit overcooked and warning the cherry pepper relish has a real kick so if you're not into spicy be ware. The catering room for a smaller party is upstairs and there are about 20-25 steps to climb up. My daughters Great Aunt could not attend the shower because of this as she is not well and could never climb the stairs. Especially, the rest rooms are downstairs! Something to also consider for people who will have to carry heavy gifts up those stairs, you'll be carrying everything down! There was a baby shower taking place in the downstairs catering room which was huge so if your event will be a big one, this shouldn't affect your decision to visit here! I knew that this venue emphasized their restrictions on decorating, no hanging things on the walls, taping things to furniture, etc. But, right there sitting on the table was a sign in an upright stand stating this. It didnt belong there and that was just very tacky to me! Service I have to say was very good and the staff was attentive. They accomodated me with a Ceasar Salad as I couldn't eat the choice of salads selected ahead of time. The food was OK, nothing stood out to me to say it was delicious but the guests enjoyed themselves! Rhe cookies and pastries were very good! The occasion cake was presented very nicely on the outside but the filling inside was mostly cake and whipped cream. There was just a sliver of strawberry filling so that was a little disappointing! I may go back for dinner one night to try their regular menu. My review was based solely on my experience of having an affair here!
