My family and I visited Paddy's Loft on July 3rd, and we had such a lovely experience. We've eaten here before and always enjoyed the food, so we decided to come back, and we're so glad we did. The restaurant has a cozy, rustic Irish charm that makes you feel comfortable the moment you walk in. Our server was wonderful--friendly, attentive, professional, and genuinely pleasant to talk with. We also loved her accent, which added to the authentic Irish pub atmosphere. The food arrived very quickly and was served piping hot, clearly fresh from the kitchen. Everything our party of three ordered was delicious, and everyone left happy. What really stood out to us was how kind and accommodating the staff were to our 90-year-old father. They made him feel welcome and took extra care to ensure he was comfortable. At the end of the meal, we believe the owner stopped by to ask how everything was, which was a thoughtful touch. The staff also allowed our father to use the floor-level exit and kindly held the door for us when we left. It's becoming harder and harder to find restaurants that combine great food with genuinely warm hospitality, but Paddy's Loft delivered both. Great local, irish cottage pub that features some rather good food and drinks. Been here a few times and always pleased with everything. The French onion soup aswell as the potato soup is very good. Their wings and burgers are also very good, as is the Ruben. They have a bar side and a restaurant side, both of which is nice. The service has always been fast and friendly. read more

Tons of delicious and fun nights spent here. Cara, June, Theresa & Sully are the absolute best! We split a burger tonight with Swiss, fried egg, lettuce, tomato and onion. The fries are so so good here and can't be beat! I don't order burgers often but was in the mood for it tonight and was so so happy we got it. Delicious! We love the French onion soup, hot wing zings and fried pickles. We've enjoyed the pre-fixe dinners - I love loved the lamb. I tried my friend's salmon (pictured below) and my jaw dropped. The Reuben egg rolls are to die for, and the truffle fries someone else got smelled sooo good I can't wait to try next time! One of my favorite late night food spots! Came here for my fiancées birthday. It was late (around 930) on a weekday, so finding a spot with real food isn't the easiest. We were the last table in the dining room (everyone else was on the bar side) but the service and food were outstanding. Always ask for the Irish soda bread to start - it's the best I've ever had. I ordered the shepherds pie and he got their price fixed dinner (app entree dessert). The app was the short rib ravioli and it was sooo good. I'm not a big mushroom fan, but the sauce was excellent. 2 big raviolis large enough to share. My fiancée loved the sauce so much he asked for extra to go with the pork loin and they happily obliged. Pork was super tender. The shepherds pie was perfect, loved the well done top on the potatoes too. The brownie dessert was tasty - ice cream was really good. This was my first time trying Irish food. The interior was designed to be more of a homey feeling. The male host greeted us and was very friendly. I liked the jumbo pretzel as it wasn't overly seasoned with salt. The jalapeño poppers were pretty spicy, but it was okay. My partner ordered the shepherd's pie, which is considered a traditional Irish dish. It had a lot of flavor, trying it for the first time. We liked how comforting it tasted, but it was hot, so be careful when trying the first bite. As a main dish, I ordered the codfish with mash potato as a base. I loved how you can actually taste the fish for what it was and it wasn't over saturated with too much flavor that would disguise the natural taste. My main dish definitely exceeded my expectations. Very happy with the buffalo wings I ordered online. An order of wings is a 1 lb. and can range from 8-10 wings in a tin. Show up and go to the bar to pick up your order from the bartender. The wings are not breaded, and the mild wings were wet and had a little bit of kick which I loved! The mild really surprised me - I didn't even take pictures (my bad). I will be ordering again. I took my whole family to Patty's loft for Mother's Day. I am sad to say that the lobster reeked of pneumonia. It smelled like my cat litter box then I calmly asked for the Manager to come and smell my lobster. She proceeded to say she didn't smell anything and gave us a nasty attitude. They are lying about the lobster and they are very argumentative the blonde lady Managers attitude is as pissy as their lobster is. I will never be coming back. Do not go here. Paddy's Loft -- never again. We've been loyal customers for years and have hosted multiple family parties here, but after our most recent experience, we will not be returning. We were seated by the bartender, placed our order, and had just taken a sip of our drinks when the owner abruptly told us he needed the table and that we had to move--without another table available. This came after we saw him arguing with another table that ended up leaving. When we explained we had already ordered, he became agitated and raised his voice. We chose to leave, and shockingly, he asked us to pay for drinks we barely touched. A simple apology and offering to pay for our drinks for the inconvenience would have changed everything. It's unfortunate, because the staff--especially June, the manager--works hard and knows how to treat customers. Unfortunately, we won't return to Paddy's Loft or Smugglers Jack's. Recommendations for a friendly spot near Seaford are welcome. read more

The Guinness pour is spot on! The secret to this place is their Burgers, Best I've had on Long Island. Never had a bad meal here, but the Burgers are special. I like to cut my burger in half to make it easier to eat. The juices literally flew across the table when I did it, lesson learned now I cover it when I cut it read more

We had one person who was a vegetarian and she just asked for something to substitute their menu and they charged her 39.99. The manager was rude beyond belief.There was a young girl sitting there in a wheelchair.Waiting an hour and a half and they wouldn't even accommodate her. She was nasty.I'm from a family that owns three restaurants, and in my lifetime, i've never been so disgusted by the service.The arrogance of the management and the owner for charging overcharging for something that costs two dollars to make. My family and I came here to celebrate my nephew's birthday. We opted for the Restaurant Week menu and had a fabulous time! Our server's name was Margaret. She did not miss a beat and provided excellent service. The ambiance was so quaint and tranquil. They played authentic Irish music and the decor was very cozy. We were served warm Irish Soda bread and rolls with butter. The Irish Soda bread was delicious, to say the least. Next came the soup. Half of us ordered the onion soup which had gobs of mozzarella oozing all over. They loved it! I ordered the Irish Potato Soup. I think I could have ordered a large soup and called it a day. It was absolutely mouth watering. Very savory and had so much bacon in it. It was very well made. Next came the entrees. We ordered the roast beef platter. I ordered the meatloaf. The gravy was perfect and had a nice consistency. Extra gravy was brought out for the creamy mashed potatoes. They were good! They also served buttery sweet carrots and broccoli. The whole meal was so satisfying, especially on a drizzly cold Saturday. Dessert consisted of a brownie or rice pudding. They were homemade and of course, delicious. Overall, this place is the next best thing to eating at home. There is even a back room for parties. I really enjoyed everything about my dining experience. The Guinness sauce was delicious. The ground beef was seasoned well. I was overly joyed! A top 1 contender for any shepherds pie I've had. It was not overly rich & more than enough to fill you up. I devoured it all! Irish Breakfast: This was a huge plate & it came with fries! Those were so tasty - crispy & moist on the inside. A beautiful baked tomato. The Black Puddin' was yummy! We came here last Sunday because our daughter was at the skating rink next-door. This was our first visit here . The menu was extensive, and one thing stood out . After asking what the black and white pudding was found out that it was a sausage. With that information, we ordered the Irish breakfast .
