My fave local place. Great food and drinks and very affordable. They have specials each day as well. The PRETZEL is the BEST. It gets busy, but get a drink and relax. Outside seating is available. Great place to grab a drink before the LIRR.

We brought a group of soccer playing teens and their parents here between tournament games. Though we didn't have a reservation, they had ample seating and televisions with games on (mostly American football). Everyone ordered and the food came out relatively fast. I had a burger and fries which wasn't at all greasy and my husband had a wrap. The server was a bit overwhelmed by all of the people she needed to serve but was courteous and got us what we needed. The bathroom was very clean and nice too.

We went to the Johnny McGorey's in Lynbrook, but Yelp didn't have a listing for that location. This was our second time at this location. The first time we sat at the bar. The draft beer was cold and delicious. I had the. Thai Chili Chicken Tacos -very good, and my husband had the chicken tidbits with side salad - also very good. Service with the bartender Jen was excellent. The second time we also sat at the bar. Nicole was the bartender and she was great. My husband had a draft beer again, nice and cold. I had a margarita- excellent! We ordered the sampler, the wings were too well done as were the potato skins. The cheese sticks and tenders were good. I ordered the beef stew. It was very good, but it was more a soup than a stew. My husband had the Philly cheesesteak and salad and he liked it. We'll go back and give this place another try! I didn't think to take a picture of my food, but I took a picture of my margarita!

This pretzel is so good, and enough for 3 people!

Love the drinks, really get the job done, but the waiting service ended by the time we got there at 9 on a saturday, only a few bar items available. Staff is friendly and food is good, try the pretzel, wont be disappointed. Repeat customer :)

It was one waitress serving so she had her hands full. No problem, we weren't in a hurry. It was the wait between placing our order and getting our food that was concerning. The soup starter took a good 20 minutes to arrive, and it was the wrong soup. The waitress swapped them out for the correct soup, which was only tepid, but again, no complaints. Then a good half hour for the main to come and those, too, weren't hot. All in all, our lunch took almost 2 hours from the time we arrived to the time we paid the bill. Maybe having one server at an Irish pub the Friday before St Patrick's Day needs a rethink. When you drop a hundred dollars on a lunch for 2 people, you expect to get the right order, at the right temperature, in a reasonable amount of time. Hoping the next visit will be a five star experience instead of a three.

Aps were off the hook, best pretzel we have ever had, must be made in house and was delicious. Fried pickles were perfect! Wings were very nice, a bit crisp and juicy, we had the Bern yer arse (hot but tasty) sauce. Mac and Cheese was good, fish and chips a bit heavy, Corn beef sliders great and Shepard pie was amazing. Staff was super nice.

It's nice to go to someplace new to me. It was hard to find parking because of all the snow from the 3rd snowstorm that is still not clearing the streets and sidewalks. Hubby dropped me off and found one. It's a kitchy looking place with many TVs and multiple levels. The door to the place looks like an English phone booth with 2 dialup phones in the entryway. Our waiter Joe was very nice. The girl who sat us gave us our menus right away. I had to wait for hubby to park, but I had time to look over the menu. All the choices sounded good. Hubby wound up with a Spinach Benedict with Roasted Tomatoes with nicely Crispy fries and a lemon Benedict sauce to die for. I got a Avocado Toast with Goat Cheese and Caramelized Onions on whole grain toast. The Arugula salad that was also on the plate was covered lightly with a lemony dressing. I added Cholula Sauce and it was so good. Another point I'd like to make is that the bottles of hot sauces were clean with no cruddy tops. That turns me off so good for them. I would definitely go back.

It was basically a deconstructed sandwich. Good flavor overall - could've used a little more pesto, but the mozzarella tasted fresh and was soft. Service was not the best, but I'll still go back when in the area.

Belfast is a charming Lindenhurst local pub/restaurant serving up a tasty selection of new age and…read moretraditional Irish American foodie favorites. The service has always been top notch whether your sitting barside or at one of their tables inside the restaurant or heated/open patio side. They offer an array of traditional mainstream domestic beers, local brewery beer, as well as a few of your Irish classic brands. Whether you opt for a tasty liquor cocktail or a draft/bottled beer you won't be disappointed. On the food side of things they offer classic pub style appetizers, salads, sandwiches, wraps, burgers and an assortment of larger entrées. Fan favorites apps are their calamari, onion rings and flatbreads. On the Main entrée side you can always opt for a traditional Cornbeef, Pastrami Rebun, Short Rib platter or one of their customized sandwich melts. Can't say much about dessert since the meals are more than enough for me, but I'm sure they are just as delectable. This local restaurant is a hometown favorite for many for a reason, they are good at satisfying just about any craving. Jump in and explore the menu!

When we arrived ahead of our reservation the restaurant had a few tables filled and the entire bar was full. We opted to sit on the heated patio which was very warm and nice. There also was live music and it was lovely. Our waitress was amazing from start to finish. I ordered the Irish Old Fashioned to start and my husband got the cider on draft. I ended up not liking my drink and she was so accommodating swapping my drink for one she recommended that I thoroughly enjoyed. We got the shepherd's pie fries to start and I have been dreaming of them since. First off the fries are some of the best I've ever had. They're clearly homemade and were just perfect and the pie filling on top took it to the next level. For entrees my husband got the fish and chips. The fish was fresh and crispy and paired perfectly with the amazing curry sauce. He was obsessed. I got the burger with corned beef on top and onion rings and paired it with their ketchup aioli and I loved it. Portions were large and fairly priced in my opinion for quality and quantity. For dessert we tried their new milk and cookies cake and it was very enjoyable. Not too sweet and perfectly moist. I can't say enough great things about this place and look forward to our next visit with the whole family since there really is something for everyone on the menu.
