The new owner is a phenomenal person and a genuine pillar of the local restaurant community. What stood out immediately was how much the staff clearly respected the previous owner and how seamlessly that warmth has carried over into this new chapter. Big things are coming here and the upward trajectory is going to be something special. One thing's for certain: you will not leave hungry. The burgers were not only delicious but generously sized, and the fries stole the show perfectly seasoned with that satisfying crunch you hope for but don't always get. Our group is still exploring the menu from sandwiches to pasta, but every dish delivered. The atmosphere made the whole experience even better. With televisions covering every angle of the room, it was the perfect spot to catch World Cup matches and we caught them all. I was lucky enough to win a $50 giftcard to this restaurant on Instagram in September and finally got a chance to use it last night. When we arrived ahead of our reservation the restaurant had a few tables filled and the entire bar was full. We opted to sit on the heated patio which was very warm and nice. There also was live music and it was lovely. Our waitress was amazing from start to finish. I ordered the Irish Old Fashioned to start and my husband got the cider on draft. I ended up not liking my drink and she was so accommodating swapping my drink for one she recommended that I thoroughly enjoyed. We got the shepherd's pie fries to start and I have been dreaming of them since. First off the fries are some of the best I've ever had. They're clearly homemade and were just perfect and the pie filling on top took it to the next level. For entrees my husband got the fish and chips. The fish was fresh and crispy and paired perfectly with the amazing curry sauce. He was obsessed. I got the burger with corned beef on top and onion rings and paired it with their ketchup aioli and I loved it. Portions were large and fairly priced in my opinion for quality and quantity. For dessert we tried their new milk and cookies cake and it was very enjoyable. Not too sweet and perfectly moist. I can't say enough great things about this place and look forward to our next visit with the whole family since there really is something for everyone on the menu. read more

After a meal a group of us wanted to go to a lively bar and found this awesome place. We asked someone to take a group photo outside before going in, and looking back at it we saw someone photobombed us, we found out it was the GM Geoff! After meeting him a bit later inside, we let him know we were celebrating our men all passing their final written exam for NCPD. Being a former Marine, Geoff congratulated us with a round of shots and even had the DJ @LosTheDj shout them out. Everyone in this place cheered for our men! Enjoyed a late dinner recent Friday night. As usual bar was having a good time all around vibe, we were sat immediately in the tent extension dining room, but with the outdoor heaters it was all warm and cozy. Came here for happy hour with some friends-they don't have a great happy hour, only $1 off on drinks and very few options for food but we were looking for something til 7 and most places were til 6 so we figured we'd check it out. Their regular menu seems kind of expensive for a gastropub and they upcharge for credit card. We ordered the eggplant meatballs and chicken tenders with a side of hot honey off the HH menu then also got the limerick flatbread and appetizer sampler. Everything was pretty tasty-the chicken tenders seemed fresh not frozen and the hot honey was a great choice. the flatbread was probably my fav tho. It was basically a Reuben sandwich but a flatbread instead-it was oozing with flavor. We ended up staying for bingo and my friend won-they kinda gave her a hard time about the prize tho which was strange but ended up giving her a $25 gift card so we'll be back to try other things! read more

Stopped here to enjoy the live music of the Uber talented Ed Ryan on a Friday night and had dinner. Note: We didn't try the cocktails or bar menu (dry January) but they looked good and extensive. I was part of a group of three who ordered the braised short rib baked potato skins; "SideWinder" braised short rib flatbread and a steak sandwich. We also split the lava cake with ice cream and cheesecake desserts. As expected from a 'gastropub' the food was not the run of the mill and appeared fresh and slightly different - for example all the short rib options! Staff from the bus boys to the waitress to the manager were welcoming; attentive and on point. Would definitely recommend and we do want to go back to explore more of the menu options including the genuine Irish food and interesting offerings...(I'm looking at you SPICY CRACKLE BITE appy which is listed as shaved corned beef mixed with kraut, Swiss cheese, spicy thousand Island, breaded and fried golden brown.) I feel the appetizers took longer than they should have to come out. Some appetizers that were ordered were jumbo pretzel, potato soup, eggplant meatballs, and I ordered mussels. Appetizers seemed to be enjoyed all around. I enjoyed the mussels. I got them in the white wine sauce. It was very flavorful throughout. Very generous serving also. It was served with garlic bread. I did dunk it in the left over white wine sauce after I finished eating the mussels. I ordered a Caesar salad for my entree. It was okay. A little overdressed for my liking. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their meals. For whatever reason, numerous people checked on us numerous times throughout our meal. I had heard nothing but good things about this place but hadn't a chance to dine there. At work I ordered lunch from here yesterday. Great fries, average chicken and I can't comment on the ice cream. You see, the food came in a reasonable time but there were no utensils, no ketchup, s/p or napkins. One of our new favorite places in Lindenhurst! We recently moved to the area and this has become our go to. They even have a kids menu and every employee is always super friendly with our toddler. Really nice atmosphere, and the heated indoor tent is fantastic. Wings are delicious for an app and the steak sandwich has a great flavor and sweetness with the tomato jam. After seeing Belfast Gastropub with a dinner crowd a few times, I decided to check it out. My friend and I were immediately pleased with the pubby-but-modern look on the inside and appreciated the cheerful, friendly service. We sat outside, which was nice for a cool summer night. My friend ordered the Bavarian pretzel and I went with the southwestern flatbread. Both dishes were good. We also enjoyed a glass of merlot and a mojito, but I could tell there wasn't much alcohol in the mojito. I'm not a big drinker but mojitos aren't cheap! We had such a wonderful time at Belfast last weekend! We walked in for dinner closer to 8 pm on Sunday and were able to grab one of the tables outdoors. It was nice being able to enjoy the evening breeze while still being able to hear the live music from inside. Our server, Alena, was incredibly friendly and attentive. Right off the bat, we were pleased to find they offered frozen drinks, especially since those seem to be hard to come by. We ordered the mango one, which was nice and refreshing. For appetizers, we got the Bulldog Sampler, which essentially was a loaded plate of fried deliciousness. The fried ravioli and mozzarella sticks were our favorites, but really everything was good! For mains, we got The Brilliant and The Rock signature burgers. Both were cooked a little over, but were still tender, juicy, and flavorful. The fries on the side were out of this world good, and the coleslaw and pickles were great as well. There were so many other things on the menu that caught our eye, and we are so excited to return again soon! read more

I've heard a lot about this place so me and the wife decided to check it out for our anniversary. I have to say it didn't disappoint. The place is nicely done and there's plenty of parking in the area. We were seated quickly. The drinks were good and according to the wife "strong". We tried their French onion to start and it was what I hoped for...real good. My main was a steak sandwich which was a nice size and very tasty. We also tried the Nutella cheesecake which was surprisingly good. Overall I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was attentive and friendly. It's not cheap but not overly priced. We came here on recommendation of friends of ours that lived in the area. It's a cool place to eat and hang. Had live music which is always a plus. We got seated and had sangrias to chill out with but then ordered apps. I got brisket potato skins which were dynamite. My buddy ordered eggplant meatballs which were just as good. My wife chose the French onion soup & said it was excellent. For entrees we had the salmon which was a good size piece of fish with creamed cauliflower, spinach & roasted tomatoes . Hi, on 7/18 my family and I stopped in as we were out celebrating for my brothers wedding the next day. It was our first time there, and it started off great. We maybe got 3 rounds of Guinness, before the young man (whom I didn't get a chance to get his name), the 6'7 Bouncer began approaching my brother (the groom) and letting him know that we were making such a mess at our table that it was beginning to create a problem. We left the venue, and returned after getting pizza. As the only BIPOC at the establishment, immediately after returning the same bouncer verbally accosted my brother. As the only BIPOC at the venue, we had already closed our tab out and paid our $200 bill. When my brother informed me of the rude and racist bouncer, I immediately asked for a manager. It took over 20 minutes for a manager to come over, and by the time they did I had actually gone and cleaned the enter restaurant. As the only BIPOC there, I decided to clean the tables and buss as so have worked in the service industry for 10 years. The Bouncer was antagonizing me the whole time, saying that we were causing a scene. As BIPOC, who were also PAYING customers, we felt chastised and out of place. I wouldn't recommend any BIPOC to enter this place, it's not safe as long as that 6'7 Bouncer is still working there. I was informed that I would receive a call by the owners, that was false information as well. My family and I will never visit this place again, and I suggest any BIPOC to do the same. read more

Cute place, but we ordered the calamari and it was soggy and not appetizing. I can't remember the last time I've ordered something and I just didn't want to eat it at all. I'm not sure if it's because they put the sauce on it, but it shouldn't be served this way. If you have fried calamari you are expecting crispy, not wet. Also, the menu said it was cherry peppers... we were totally expecting a little spice. The sauce pretty much tasted like marinara sauce. Hubby described it as calamari parm. I think that was pretty accurate. The waitress was super nice and the beer was yummy and cold. Maybe we will try a different food option another time. Three stars to me is a perfectly fair review, since my experience was just that- okay. Nothing was terrible, but also nothing was out of this world fantastic either. My husband got a steak sandwich, I got the fish and chips, my kids each got a kid's meal, and they did eat all of their vegetables. I got a beer, which was fine too. The waitress was nice enough to help us with a booster seat for my son. The ambiance, food and service were all fine. Is there anything that really made me want to return soon? Not really.
