I will start with the bartender Mimi. She's the best bartender on Long Island. Very nice, kind, friendly to everyone. She treats everyone like family one of a kind. I hope someone is reading this she needs a raise just off her smile and kindness. I go there for her and the wings. The wings are amazing I had Thai chilli that's my favorite and hot lime I think it was those was good as well. They have tons of flavors to try I suggest you go there. Ok, so I'm acknowledging the elephant in the room...yes, it LOOKS like a strip club outside, but this is just a bar! The service is great, the bartender quickly greeted us when we walked in and was prompt getting out order in and to us. We ordered wings and soda only, but she was still a great bartender. The sprite was out of syrup and she knew it too! She made sure that it was to his liking and sent a new drink right away! The wings were delicious, no wonder they were voted as the best on LI! My experience here was awful. John (the owner/manager) was extremely disrespectful toward women, which made me very uncomfortable. Terrible experience. John was rude and disrespectful toward women and appeared intoxicated while bartending. The place itself is run-down and unsanitary. I saw rodents and cockroaches, and the overall cleanliness was unacceptable. They also work with a tow truck company that I believe uses deceptive or predatory practices. The situation felt like a setup, and I would warn others to be very careful if you park near this business. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

In the beginning, just two years ago, I would have screamed to the heavens about their food and customer service. But it has just declined. We stopped in for a bite tonight, it was a fortune and nothing was as it was ordered. If I was to rate the food today, it would be a 2. We ordered a burger, mind you; it is pick what you want. Mine ended up with a huge onion on it. We ordered boneless wings and got bone-in wings with the sauce just dumped on them. This is the same place that I voted best food of Long Island, and now it is no better than a fast food place at triple the price. Seriously over priced. Please never go to this place. Not only is it disgusting (not sure how they pass inspection) the staff are sexist. Was really looking forward to supporting a local establishment, but super disappointed. The place is not even a dive bar, it's disgusting. Aside from having to clean off the table I sat at, which had a clear view of the kitchen. I watched the cook wear one glove from food, to the bathroom, outside to smoke cigarettes, to come right back in to cook with said glove. I've lived in the area for the last four years and prior to the new ownership I never went into this building. It's across from good coffee so I've passed it every day, but never went in. Now that this place has changed hands, they brought in karaoke on Monday night so I decided to check it out. Boy was I surprised! The bar is large and fits a lot of people comfortably, plus they have some bar tables. There's also a dance floor and lounge area with a large projection screen and pool table. The bartender was incredibly nice and attentive, and I never felt like I was waiting to get a drink. The other people working there were very welcoming and made me feel like I had been going there for a while. It was also very clean and comfortable. The karaoke was done by DJ Danx, and it was a lot of fun. He had every song I submitted and didn't favor anyone like some other DJs do. Everyone seemed to sing in a nice rotation and he played great dance music in between singers so there was never a dull moment. Lastly, the food was great, too! I was really pleased by the experience and liked them on Facebook, which led me to see that they are doing a whisky bacon jam on their wings next month. Needless to say I'm SUPER EXCITED for this and can't wait to go back and try them. This is quickly becoming my favorite bar to visit. The food is delicious and comes out to you quickly. The crispy chicken sandwich in particular is fabulous! They have a new special sauce each month for chicken wings. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. They are prompt in their service. I appreciate how attentive they are without being on top of you all the time. They also have great Happy Hour and Karaoke specials, though be aware karaoke is only on Mondays. Karaoke Mondays are my favorite time to visit! I always have a blast listening and participating in karaoke here. I greatly recommend the Red Zone Bar & Grill!!!! read more

For a place that claims to have the best wings on Long Island they didn't even have them in stock when I ordered them. I guess I'll just take their word for it. Ordered fried pickles also, 20 mins later they told me they didn't have any and the owner was out with covid so couldn't keep the food stocked. 5 mins later the owner walked in. Literally can't say enough negative things about this bar. They have a revolving door far as employees go. No one wants to stay for too long. The DON'T ALLOW BUYBACKS!! Doesn't matter how good of a customer you are. Management would prefer to never treat you. And the pouring system?! Good luck getting a drink fast bc the bartenders can't even pour two bottles at a time. Ok so the wings, hands down, the best on Long Island. It's not a spot for little kids because lets face it, it's a dive bar but definitely cool to bring older ones like 12 and up but not after 10pm. The only thing you're scoring from this red zone is diarrhea and food poisoning. Their signature sauce and Thai chili were outstanding going down, but were terrible when they were brown. The wings literally left me hurtin for a squirtin. Also, this place looks like where I would go after a long night of the sniffles looking to throw away my kids college fund, but would definitely be disappointed when I walked in. I bartended in local neighborhood bars for years and you have to buy back your customers when they pay full prices!! I purchased an alcoholic beverage and paid cash for the drink and then I placed an order of French fries with toppings at that point I was asked to pay for the $8 dollar order before the order was made I told the bar attendant that I would like to make sure my order was was right before I paid in full being that I asked the attendant to prepare my order a certain way, the bar attendant place the order then and said she would put the $5 tip I gave her toward the order therefore I was only to give $3 more dollars, 10 minutes Later the person preparing the order approached me asking me to pay before he made the fries, mind you it was an order on there menu, also I noticed other people placing orders without paying and I happened to be the only person of color in the establishment, so I mentioned I would like to pay after I receive my order because I was going to order more drinks and I had an $100 dollar bill to break. I told the person to hold the order because I was waiting on people two people to arrive, the person whose name is Johnny told the the attendant to give me back my money toward the French fries and she said sorry we can't serve you anything else. I called the people meeting me and told them I was welcome they and I think we should go somewhere else that would be happy to service us.
