Friendly service and excellent food. It's a good value! Nice bar for before after or instead of dining rooms.

The place itself is very nice and has a cool feel to it. It goes really far back and has two bars, with a little stage in the middle for local musicians and performers. In terms of the drinks they serve, they have a lot of good canned craft beer options (not sure what's on tap), that are served in a nice chilled glass. Their cocktails are very creative and taste delicious. My friends got an East meets West (Mezcal, mango puree, fresh lemon, basil simple syrup with tajin chili salt rim & basil leaf) and a Main Squeeze (Blood orange vodka, passion fruit nectar, aperol, elderflower liqueur, lime juice, thyme simple syrup topped with citrus foam & dried rose petals). The east meets west was really good, and the basil really complemented the mezcal in an unexpected way. The main squeeze was also really delicious and tasted like candy, except for a perplexing smokey aftertaste that we couldn't quite figure out. Overall though some very creative and potent cocktails that we definitely want to come back and try more of! My only issue was with how slow the service at the bar in the front was. I feel like those two cocktails shouldn't have taken 15 minutes to prepare (not an exaggeration). Maybe this is an issue with understaffing?

He seemed very uninterested, in not just us but the people near us as well. For drinks we ordered the La Pasion Margarita and the Hibiscus Margarita. The passion fruit margarita was ok. The hibiscus margarita I had did not taste good at all. We had the Guacamole which was ok, no major complaints but nothing much to praise either. For the meal, I ordered the Carne Asada quesadilla and the hubs had the chicken quesadilla. The prices were not worth the food. Perhaps the bartender set the tone for the rest of the meal but this was one that we didn't really enjoy and likely would not return to try again. There was another bartender that we wished we had because he seemed super nice and attentive to his guests. The restaurant had a rustic vibe and seemed like a good place for group dinners or more of an intimate one. Unfortunately, we will likely not return.

We ended up in Meehan's which is a restaurant/pub and I had never been there before. It was cozy, comfy and after a little while it was also packed. We opted for a few apps and one dinner. The food was okay but the service was very good. We were checked on by the manager just as we were about to leave and we appreciated that. 3.5 stars.

We left Little Vincent's because they only take cash and we decided we didn't want pizza anyway. Just started walking and found Meehan's. Burgers, pizza, wings, pasta with butter for my daughter. We were all sold. I'd describe this as an upscale Irish pub. They have a few nice separate areas that would be fun with a crowd. A big bar. The food was delicious but a bit pricey. You're paying for the location right across the street from the Paramount for pre-show dinner. I've had much better burgers for less than $20 on Long Island. (Applebees and Tap Room, notably. Yes, Applebees makes a better burgers.) But my friend's daughter got the buffalo chicken pizza and loved it. $10 for a Sam Adams 12 oz on tap seemed overpriced. I'd consider going back before a show but wouldn't get a burger. The service seemed ... off. It took forever to get our food and then we had 3 separate people come over and ask how things were. I don't mind this, but someone came over and asked "how is everything?" before we got our food. Also when I ordered I asked to sub onion rings for fries. The waitress said she couldn't do that but I could get a basket of onion rings. I politely pointed to the menu and said, "it says I can get onion rings for an upcharge:" she said she was new and didn't know. Then I asked for a salad instead and that was fine. I'm giving this 3 stars because location and atmosphere is fabulous, food was good, but service and prices were so-so. It was just what we needed for the evening but with so many great places in Huntington I wish we tried somewhere else.

Unfortunately, he has gotten so popular we couldn't afford the tickets, so I'm glad we saw him here. This venue really is great, and since my last review we learned where the best seating is for comedy shows. We saw Jim Breuer for the second time here and had the best time ever! A friend got us on the list for the founders room which we went into before the show. This place is awesome! It's a really cool speak-easy with hidden rooms and unique antiques. The staff was really friendly both in here and inside the venue itself. There was a mix-up on our part about the meet and greet, but they took care of it for us and made it happen. It's unusual for such a large venue to have such great personal service, but that is how they treat everyone. The staff seems to have a really great time working there, meeting the audience, and enjoying the show along with us. This is one of our favorite venues on Long Island. Looking forward to going back for more great shows!

I reserved ahead of time for my husbands birthday just for the two of us and let them know that and asked for an intimate/quiet table. They took that to heart. We got a great table in the back corner where we could both sit next to each other on the booth seat. They also put a candle in the tiramisu we ordered. He had chicken parm, it was a big portion. He said it was good but he would probably get steak next time as we saw it at the table next to us and it looked amazing. I got the cacio e pepe. So delicious. We shared the French fries, house bread and fingerling potatoes. So so delicious. The aioli with the fries was flavorful, the butter with the house bread was delicious. Our drinks were strong and wonderful. I got the Ms Loren for the cucumber and he got the honey bourbon which is not normally my type but it was so smooth. The tiramisu was delicious. We would definitely go again. There's a lot of indoor seating and very cute outdoor seating. There's valet parking but we ended up parking on the street a block up. Would recommend to dress up and enjoy a beautiful night out.

I remembered the restaurant so fondly and I've always wanted to go back since I moved out of LI. This weekend when I was visiting with my husband, I wanted to take him there because of how great it was the first time we went. We were able to grab a reservation for four people at 4 PM (which is pretty tough otherwise). Our server was nice and drinks were good but it didn't feel like that elevated experience that I once had here. The most disappointing part was that all of the food lacked so much flavor. We ordered the frito misto, the taglioni? (Pecorino cake style appetizer), salad, pappardelle, NY strip steak, roasted chicken. I felt like everything but the taglioni and salad lacked so much flavor and depth. I recall enjoying their food and having such an extraordinary experience the first time around, and this just felt like really basic food at a premium price point. I'm hoping it's a one off thing based off of circumstances outside their control, but I don't think I'd be going back anytime soon
