Friendly service and excellent food. It's a good value! Nice bar for before after or instead of dining rooms.

The place itself is very nice and has a cool feel to it. It goes really far back and has two bars, with a little stage in the middle for local musicians and performers. In terms of the drinks they serve, they have a lot of good canned craft beer options (not sure what's on tap), that are served in a nice chilled glass. Their cocktails are very creative and taste delicious. My friends got an East meets West (Mezcal, mango puree, fresh lemon, basil simple syrup with tajin chili salt rim & basil leaf) and a Main Squeeze (Blood orange vodka, passion fruit nectar, aperol, elderflower liqueur, lime juice, thyme simple syrup topped with citrus foam & dried rose petals). The east meets west was really good, and the basil really complemented the mezcal in an unexpected way. The main squeeze was also really delicious and tasted like candy, except for a perplexing smokey aftertaste that we couldn't quite figure out. Overall though some very creative and potent cocktails that we definitely want to come back and try more of! My only issue was with how slow the service at the bar in the front was. I feel like those two cocktails shouldn't have taken 15 minutes to prepare (not an exaggeration). Maybe this is an issue with understaffing?

Recently this establishment has gotten even better with an improved decor, (they have brought over tables, chairs and other items from the recently closed Red Restaurant), adding a level of sophistication and charm. They have also improved the bar area as well. The menu now is larger and offers some of our favorites, and soon to be yours, from once sister restaurants Red and Osteria da Nino. All the food is outstanding as is the friendly attentive service of the servers. Today Monica and Kelly served us lunch and suggested the fried cheddar cheese curds to accompany our beers, a terrific choice- these are an adult version of fried cheese sticks. We had mentioned that we wanted to share both a Wedge Salad and a Philly cheese steak sandwich, to our surprise both came out thoughtfully divided equally to share making the experience even more enjoyable. Whether you are looking for a quick bit at the bar or a sit down meal this is a perfect choice.

He seemed very uninterested, in not just us but the people near us as well. For drinks we ordered the La Pasion Margarita and the Hibiscus Margarita. The passion fruit margarita was ok. The hibiscus margarita I had did not taste good at all. We had the Guacamole which was ok, no major complaints but nothing much to praise either. For the meal, I ordered the Carne Asada quesadilla and the hubs had the chicken quesadilla. The prices were not worth the food. Perhaps the bartender set the tone for the rest of the meal but this was one that we didn't really enjoy and likely would not return to try again. There was another bartender that we wished we had because he seemed super nice and attentive to his guests. The restaurant had a rustic vibe and seemed like a good place for group dinners or more of an intimate one. Unfortunately, we will likely not return.

The bar area is separate from the main dining room and feels like its own space, with a large bar, a few small tables, and seating along the windows. It was fairly lively for a Thursday night. The bartenders were fun and engaging, clearly knew many of the regulars, and did a great job keeping the energy up. While there are no formal happy hour deals, they do serve complimentary chunks of parmesan, which were very good. The cocktail and wine menu is fairly extensive. We only ordered a small starter (fingerling potatoes for $13), but the dinner portions we saw looked generous. I enjoyed a glass of Malbec (~$15) and generous pour. Prices are closer to New York City pricing, though the portion sizes may be enough to share. When you enter the restaurant, you pass a large patio with tables, which would be especially nice during warmer months. Overall, Farm Italy feels like a great spot for catching up with friends over drinks, and I would definitely come back to try more of the food.

I remembered the restaurant so fondly and I've always wanted to go back since I moved out of LI. This weekend when I was visiting with my husband, I wanted to take him there because of how great it was the first time we went. We were able to grab a reservation for four people at 4 PM (which is pretty tough otherwise). Our server was nice and drinks were good but it didn't feel like that elevated experience that I once had here. The most disappointing part was that all of the food lacked so much flavor. We ordered the frito misto, the taglioni? (Pecorino cake style appetizer), salad, pappardelle, NY strip steak, roasted chicken. I felt like everything but the taglioni and salad lacked so much flavor and depth. I recall enjoying their food and having such an extraordinary experience the first time around, and this just felt like really basic food at a premium price point. I'm hoping it's a one off thing based off of circumstances outside their control, but I don't think I'd be going back anytime soon

The food stood out right away--not just because it was served hot and fresh, but because it actually had depth and flavor. That's not something I can usually say about other Indian restaurants I've tried, where the spices often feel watered down or flat. The waiter who helped us was attentive without hovering, and the timing between courses was just right. You could tell the kitchen puts care into each dish, and nothing felt rushed or reheated. All in all, it was a solid experience and one we'll likely come back for. If you're in the area and craving Indian food that doesn't hold back on flavor, Nirvana is worth a visit. One thing I want to point out. Don't always go by a negative review on any restaurant. It's a fact that negative reviews end up online more often than positive reviews. A pissed off customer wants to tell the whole world but a happy customer just tells his circle of friends and family. Try it for yourself and then be your own judge.
