We've been to the Paramount many times since my last review, which I can't believe was so long ago! Sebastian Maniscalco has come a long way since then, and he did play MSG. Unfortunately, he has gotten so popular we couldn't afford the tickets, so I'm glad we saw him here. This venue really is great, and since my last review we learned where the best seating is for comedy shows. We saw Jim Breuer for the second time here and had the best time ever! A friend got us on the list for the founders room which we went into before the show. This place is awesome! It's a really cool speak-easy with hidden rooms and unique antiques. The staff was really friendly both in here and inside the venue itself. There was a mix-up on our part about the meet and greet, but they took care of it for us and made it happen. It's unusual for such a large venue to have such great personal service, but that is how they treat everyone. The staff seems to have a really great time working there, meeting the audience, and enjoying the show along with us. This is one of our favorite venues on Long Island. Looking forward to going back for more great shows! read more

This is a very nice theater located in downtown Huntington where I attended a comedy show. The area is lively and there are lots of dining options nearby. My friends and I had mezzanine seats which included waitstaff service, a nice feature. The sound quality was great and the theater is small enough that you have a good view even from an upper level. It was a pleasant experience, and I would attend a future show at this theater. read more

I went to see Beres Hammond. I enjoyed the concert; the crowd was so fun dancing and singing. It was pure joy. The venue has seats plus a standing area, where I was for the concert's duration. There are bars and bar food. I ate in the town before the concert. I ran a bit late, so I called the service desk, and running late didn't pose any issue with getting inside. The opening act was still on when I got there. Definitely would check out their other concerts. read more

Located in Huntington Village, a swanky part of Long Island, this venue exceeded my expectations. It's a very small intimate venue that has two full bars on each side on the floor, one on the second floor and another one in the sky bar area. No matter which seat(s) you get in the mezzanine section, it is an unobstructed view of the stage. The floor is not for me as I am very short and I don't like the feeling of being claustrophobic. At 66, Andy McCluskey of OMD had to postpone the touring of their new album (Bauhaus Staircase) due to a major knee surgery. Finally back on the road and with his new titanium knee he performed and moved around like he did back in the 80s. His voice!! The night was nostalgic for me and my sister. It really took us back. We had a blast dancing the night away. Restrooms are clean with an attendee. There are little essentials (hair clips, breath mints, deodorant, etc.) for you ladies if you need them but make sure to tip a buck or two. Concert merch is sold on the 2nd floor. Staff were extremely friendly & professional. read more

Visit Date: August 31, 2025 I came here to see a Michael Jackson tribute with my friend Jen S, who loves MJ. Her friend Katie joined us too. It was the first time I was at the Paramount. It's a good size, on the smaller side but also big enough to fit a good amount of people and it looks like mostly anywhere you are in the concert hall is a good spot to see whoever is performing. I don't think they serve food from what I saw they didn't, they serve expensive drinks which is the rule for any place that hosts concerts or shows. They do have popcorn available and I think it's complimentary. I got myself a $12 N/A beer. It was a little cheaper than the time I paid almost $20 for one at Stephen Talkhouse. It was a pretty big can of beer though. Might have been the 40 oz version of an N/A beer, the beer came from Athletic Brewery, I've had beer from them before, if I'm correct they only make N/A beer. I had a fun time dancing with my friends. I would come back here to see another show. read more

Nice mid size club in Huntington and right in the middle of a busy area. Parking might be tough but I was able to find a spot close by. Very nice venue and very nice layout as well. There's a bar, merch area and bathrooms before you go into the main part of the venue. The main part of a large open area with bars on either side. Then there's a balcony sectio as well which I believe is a VIP area but I'm not positive. Awesome place to see a show read more

I just saw Bright Eyes perform live at The Paramount this past weekend and had an epic time! This was my first ever concert here and it exceeded all my expectations. All of the staff were courteous, the security screen was super smooth and the GA floor was just straight up awesome. I'm no sound buff but to my ears, everything sounded great. I like how you nearly can get right up to the edge of the stage. We made our way to the front, just 1 person behind, and had an incredible view of the band. Be able to see all the details of their performance, interactions with each other, and even nuances of their instruments is really quite nifty. This was my second time ever seeing Bright Eyes perform and I'm so happy they choose to perform at The Paramount! read more

Amazing venue to see a concert, not a bad seat in the house! The place was amazing, plenty of space at the bars, bathroom lines moved quick, staff were super friendly and helpful. The sound system was amazing, the entire experience far exceeded my expectations. 10/10 this is my favorite spot to see an artist! read more

Nice theater - nearly 100 years old. The layout is a bit unique, you need to go up a flight of stairs from the street to reach the orchestra seats. The orchestra seats are quite small, making sitting tight with the people sitting next to you. There are two bars in the orchestra seating area and a larger bar in the orchestra level lobby. read more

Can't say that I've not said enough about going to shows - hooking up with the weirdest people sometimes in the process of the good or the bad or just being alone or with perhaps the experience of all of the widest array of people -drunk stoned and tripping -- who you encountered is part of the experience so make it fun and kind and with love and not wanting to smash someone's brains out of their heads due to a minor personality perceived infraction. Depends what yer into I suppose - my crew was violent - not me if course - but back to love, go explore and experience, meet anyone and keep it classy. None want not to feel nothing but love, here or anywhere - Love Each other Damnit! I just got a surge of nuclear love reminiscing of the power the 80's - early friendship borne of music together - we are alive in friendship - I wish to have them return from the days Way beyond, and, well? I have this special place that touches those days in lights and drums and those that push vocals and get intense.. we all need our own releases - Skid Row cancelled after BuckCherry finished. People left surprised but with ease of the news that - the headline group bailed on y'all. This building dates back to the Roaring Twenties, specifically May 5, 1927, when a magnificent theater--hailed as the finest east of Brooklyn, was first opened. Visitors to the new theater could enjoy vaudeville acts, a feature film, comedy, and other novelties with symphony orchestra accompaniment. In 1973, the theatre went dark. In the 1980's, it reopened as the Inter-Media Arts Center. By 2009, declining funding, rising expenses, and difficult circumstances forced the IMAC to close. On September 30, 2011, the theatre reopened after massive renovations. The result of the renovations was a space with the versatility to host live events in a standing, hybrid, or fully-seated configuration with a capacity of up to 1,573; a large main upper level floor, fixed side loge-balcony seating, mezzanine seating, and a "Skybar." The street level of the building was converted into the Founders Room, a private club designed to recreate the look and feel of a 1920s speakeasy with private rooms. read more

The Paramount owned bar Spotlight is great but the management needs to hire a new company for their security, Max Security employs the most unprofessional people, maybe not even trained correctly. I was enjoying a drink with my friend and fiancé in the bar table area and was asked to move closer into the bar area so we did with no argument as it's a non event, then for no reason the untrained bouncer has 6 other untrained bouncers surround me and my fiancé, the little untrained bouncer called her a bit*h then proceeded to spit at me, all for us doing nothing more then quietly drinking in the bar area, like really??? Management of Paramount and Live Nation should investigate these terribly trained bouncers and hire a new professionally trained security staff, an apology to us is the minimum that should be done read more

Was a great place. Really, the best place around. Then...Live Nation took over. You can feel the difference. They got rid of good people already. I'd name some, but I'd like them to find jobs first. But Live Nation comes in and ruins it. Typical. Communication is extremely poor. Prices feel higher. Just has that corporate feel, and that's unfortunate. Guess it just goes to show you, everything changes. It was a good run. I don't ever see returning here. Shame on you, Live Nation and leadership read more

Great venue for living on Long Island! I've been here a number of times and there are plenty events to attend here. Depending on the event, the floor will be GA or you will have seats. Please keep in mind that the seats are very close to each other so get comfy with your neighbors. There are a ton of restaurants to eat before your show: Theres a restaurant/bar (Spotlight) attached to the Paramount you can go to. If you can get into the Founders room that is a total plus - cute, private bar within the Paramount! Also, there's a bar upstairs where you can get food and some snacks. Parking can be tough but there are lots you can park in nearby or look for street parking. I'm going to look up future events now! Thanks! read more

Very nice show featuring 70s opening at Trans Am, and almost Queen as the main performance the theater is very nice. The concert was fantastic. Great intimate venue to see concerts and comedy shows. Not too far from NYC -- and a welcomed getaway from some of the city's hustle+bustle. I've noticed ticket prices have gone up here but they book some great acts like Tegan and Sara, Iron & Wine and Marilyn Manson but then book some lackluster acts like podcasters that think they're funny. read more

Gets great music but it's the most uncomfortable venue in the NY area. Folding chairs crammed together on the floor. Aisles so narrow that it's impossible to get up/out without disturbing everyone. Every time I check out the listings I want to go but the last couple of times were so cramped -- the five year old next to me and sitting on her dad's lap was also on mine. read more

Nice place/venue to see a show but the seats are awful! Way too close to each other, hard chairs, no leg room, and people can't get thru the seating aisles without disturbing every person in their row. 1 and done for me. read more

The seating is weird for stage presentations and uncomfortable unless is the balcony. Drinks are overpriced.

A beautiful concept with a greedy production. The school auditorium type folding chairs that cram the seating area are packed so close together you'll probably have to sit with your arms folded. I can't think of any chair I've been on that was more uncomfortable. Be ready to have the occupant next to you to elbow you in the ribs from time to time. $16 for a paper cup of domestic beer is nothing but pure greed. 1st and last time at this carnival. read more

I love the venues, and have gone to numerous concerts there. Unforutunately the soud sytem was off during the last two recent concerts I attended . The instruments were way louder than the singers, and too much bass on the microphones of the singers. I thouight that this was only my observation, but other attendees that were with me also observed the same. Thank You read more

Went to see zakk sabbath last night. Been to this venue on many occasions, I do enjoy the standing room, lets you get as close to the stage as you want, very loud, bring ear plugs. The only gripe is they need to adjust the input, vocals were drowned out by instruments. read more

I went here for the first time with my girlfriend, it's her favorite band, and my first rock concert, and it was awesome! Love seeing shows here. I'm always surprised at the lineup of talent - it's so versatile & it's so nice to not have to hike all the way into the city for a show. Rating reasoning; +full restaurant on the first floor +SRO floor with balcony seating +nice concert atmosphere + Clean and spacious + Surrounding downtown is excellent Overall this is one of the best concert venues out there. If I had to nitpick anything it would be the VIP balcony where people might stand up and block your view. You also have to angle your seat a little bit so you're facing the stage. Another negative is that parking in downtown Huntington is not the easiest. You'll have to be patient finding parking in the area. read more

I love this venue. It's always a great place to see concerts. It was weird that before a concert they ran out of Stella. Who's doing the ordering for the bar? Also, I sit upstairs in the LOGE usually and I'm finding the crowd lately is getting out of hand. People were standing in the aisles which was dangerous. Listen, I know it's a concert, but tighten up for safety reasons and for the enjoyment of the concert goer who isn't over served. Other than that, I love this venue. read more

Great local community venue that hosts various concerts and events. You wouldn't necessarily think that this location is big in anyway, as its sandwiched into Huntington villages restaurants and shops, until you step through the doors. The ticket box is to the left as soon as you walk in and you can purchase or pickup will call tickets right away. Once through security you walk into a main dance floor, with bars on either side and balcony seating and bar overhead. Recently decided to check out this location for a Tim Reynolds concert. I figured good music on a cold winter night, why not! Many know this famous guitar player from being part of the David Matthew's Band [DMB]. Let's just say I was never a fan of DMB, but I am a fan of great, talented, musicians and that he is. He is so talented, if not in the Music Hall of fame yet, he should get a nod into it. I enjoyed his guitar riffs so much I even decided to buy his CD, that they were debuting that evening. It was like a suito album release party. All staff from door, ticket box, bars and even restroom attendant were very professional and keeping things neat and clean. The drinks are moderately priced and tasted good all evening. All openings bands were a great start to a wonderful evening of great talents displayed. During stage changes they advertised upcoming events on big screens above the stage left and right, which was nice promotion as yes it made me think I should come back for more. There isn't a single thing to change with this location, they really host great talents and ultimately that's what it all about. I'll be back for more this month and hope others do too! read more

The paramount is an awesome spot for concerts on long island. I've been coming here for years and have never had a bad experience. It's in a central location surrounded by bars and restaurants. There is a main pit with a small amount of seating but the venue is tiny so no matter where you sit you are extremely close to the stage! I've waited in line for barricade many times and it's very safe! the barricade is also super close to the stage which is nice.
