However, I'm almost finished with my lunch and answer no thanks, only for the employee to say in a huff, "Well, next time you should buy something if you want to use our seating." While I understand that as your business, you have the right to do this, it really just comes off as rude and condescending, turning what would've been a nonexistent interaction into a negative one that has completely soured my attitude toward this establishment. Considering that this establishment had roughly a dozen tables and 24 seats with only 4 seats or so occupied when I was around and I wasn't interfering with business on a slow afternoon, there shouldn't have been a problem with simply letting bygones be bygones. If this is what New Yorkers consider hospitality and acceptable behavior, no wonder people from most other states consider the population to be rude.

A lot of places in the area either have food and no drinks or drinks and no food. The Owl Farm was a great bar with a cozy vibe and awesome bartender. Nico was tending bar and it definitely looked like he knew what he was doing. We ordered a couple of cosmos and they did not dissapoint. He made them perfectly and for a Wednesday night, there was a nice crowd there. The place was clean and had a laid back ambiance. There were pinball machines in the back and the fireplace made it feel all that more cozy on this rainy, cold night.
