Used to be a loyal customer but would now never return to this place. My child found a piece of plastic in their pizza, which they could have choked on. Luckily they knew to spit it out in time. I tried calling the business 3 times and the worker kept saying the manager stepped out. Obviously these people are unsanitary and don't care what they are serving! Also want to mention that the chicken dish we ordered was terrible. It was really bland and the sauce was thick as if too much flour/starch was added. Never again. read more

They ordered 5 different pies, margarita, grandma, sausage, pepperoni and traditional for a pizza party and it was absolutely delicious. I have always had a great experience until today. I usually order the mango salad with fried chicken which I awesome. Today I tried toasted walnut goat cheese. I received a full container of arugal sprinkled with some cranberries and a couple of walnuts and no goat cheese. I paid $17 for a container of arugula and they sent grilled instead of fried chicken which was not cooked enough. I spend about $200 month here and I was very disappointed read more

The service and overall vibe are very friendly. Portions are very generous. This doesn't compensate for the fact that the food just isn't very good. Fried antipasto sampler was fine. Entrees, while large enough to be shared by 2-3 adults were "ok". Pasta was overcooked. Proteins lacked seasoning. I found the tomato sauces to be oily. The menu is extensive and includes some inventive pizza configurations. Maybe they should dial things back and focus on getting the basics right as opposed to working on a Pomegranate Cotton Candy and Peanut butter pizza *an exaggeration, but not by much. read more

Had dinner with family last night. It was excellent. I had the Veal Ala Mama, wife had Rigatoni Bella Vita. Kids had penne Ala vodka and one had chicken fingers and waffle fries. The portions were very generous. (Chicken fingers will feed my kid for next three days). My veal was a very decent portion. Well worth the money. Taste was 10/10. Eggplant stack appetizer was absolutely great. Didn't get a picture before we started eating it. Highly recommend this place. I believe it's under new ownership and they are doing a phenomenal job. I believe they are two cousins. Met them both to express how nice the dinner was. Service was also excellent. Meals came hot sizzling hot. (Usually my biggest pet peeve at other restaurants). Food is excellent. They give you family style portions for a single dinner. Prices are very comparable to other restaurants except they give you enough for a second meal. Food was fantastic. Stopped in before a show at Argyle. As soon as we sat delicious garlic knots were plated before us. We started with 2 great pours of wine. We selected lobster ravioli which were definitely lobster based and came with shrimp. They had 4 ravioli to choose from. We also had the Pappardelle Amalfi and was authentic and well portioned. Both came home with us because we heard you couldn't pass on the home made tiramisu. They were right! Restaurant was full and the service was excellent. We even left with a bottle of wine. I have been enjoying takeout from Mulberry Street for years. There has been a recent change of ownership who owns another Italian restaurant nearby that is excellent. My last 2 experiences here have been disappointing. I recently ordered a pizza with meatball. the sliced meatball on the pizza were dried out burned chips that made the pizza inedible. The second experience was an order of rigatoni bolognese. The portion size was excellent. The sauce was tasteless. I have had this before at Mamas (parent company) and at the old Mulberry street and was surprised that this fell so flat. The side salads with our meals had aging lettuce with rust and dry stalks. All the dinners were cooked to perfection even with some special request. When I called the order to be delivered, the person was very pleasant & took the order perfectly & she told me the time it would be delivered to my home. The food was delivered on time & hot. The man who did the delivery was friendly & brought it in for us & told us the restaurant gave a bottle of this wonderful wine on the house,which was so nice of them. The owners should be proud of the cook & all of the staff they employ. You can't ever go wrong with Mary's Chicken Parm. It's the best. Cooked perfectly. Always juicy. Sauce is so good. Huge portion. Enough for dinner the next night. If I have Chicken Parm elsewhere, Mary's sets the standard. And if it's not as good, I get a little angry. :) Mary's Chicken Parm is what I crave. I wish they still provided salad with the Chicken Parm dinner. I love the Chicken Parm dinner but not the Chicken Parm hero. Wonderful food, service and ambience! We called this fine establishment less than 30 minutes before our party of 5 arrived for lunch. We were pleasantly surprised with a chicken price fixe lunch, and our end of year Christmas celebration was a success! The selection of chicken dishes were impressive. A delicious house salad was served with a hot fresh basket of garlic knots. The chicken de Vinci was incredible - grilled chicken and Italian sausage with broccoli florets in a sherry cream pink sauce was incredible! It was served over penne pasta (cooked perfectly ala dente). The chicken parm also looked amazing as did the chicken Marsala. All of the food was cooked perfectly, with oversized portions that were all tasty and delicious! Our server Joseph was patient, attentive and accommodated all of our requests. Ground pepper offered from a jumbo pepper grinder made the meal even better!!! We were all pleased with the food and the service and the dining room was decorated tastefully for Christmas. Dessert was also fabulous - homemade cheesecake was one of the best we've had at a restaurant. It's made on-site and is creamy, tasty and complemented our meal perfectly!
