My check for Lox and onion omelette with coffee.
Lou A.

My first time in TK's after driving past it for years. It's a bustling diner vibe with a nautical and nostalgic feel. I sat at the counter and saw they had "Our Gang" Little Rascals on the TV. I spoke with TK who started the business in his mid 20's. He was mostly watching his customers and staff but we did chat a bit. He learned the business at yacht and country clubs in Huntington. He takes pride in serving a high volume of food at good prices. There aren't many places in Huntington you can eat as inexpensively. Of course you aren't eating a gourmet meal with fancy prices. If you want a solid meal for a reasonable price I recommend it. I plan to return and do a deeper dive on their menu.

Lobster eggs Benedict
Liza M.

Ive lived here fmy whole life and just went to tks for the first time for breakfast lol It was so good my boyfriend got blueberry pancakes and the batter they make is amazing. We also ordered corned beef hash all homemade crunchy the way it should be. I ordered lobster eggs benny the hollandaise was great and the portion was amazing for the price i literally had a lobster tail and claws on both pieces idk why someone would complain about price its more then reasonable especially for the portion size

I ate my spinach and feta omelet so fast. It was delicious. Coffee was decent. Great service. So close to Huntington Harbor. No complaints.

There were toddlers and preschoolers in the restaurant with their families, so I asked the waitress to please change the channel. She looked at me like I was crazy and told me that she didn't understand what my problem was. I explained that there were graphic photos of people and crime scenes that aren't suitable for children, or really anyone else trying to enjoy their meal. That issue non-withstanding, I still don't think Over Easy is worth choosing over Hatch or Munday's. The wait for us was 20 minutes, which is the same for pretty much every other place in Huntington. It's also very small, so as a result the tables are extremely close together. We were seated in the middle of the floor, with waitstaff passing through very frequently on both sides. We had to constantly tuck ourselves in and watch our backs to avoid getting an elbow in the face. Our food tasted alright, but there were several issues. We both got variations of eggs benedict. I got the avocado BLT benedict, with avocado, tomato, arugula, bacon, and hollandaise on top of ciabatta. It tastes good, and I especially liked how orange and healthy the poached egg yolk was. However the ciabatta was pretty badly burnt. My boyfriend got the "classic" eggs benedict, which was served over toasted sourdough bread. This bread was ridiculous, over an inch thick and impossible to cut through without shaking the table and making a crummy mess. I would've thought the classic eggs benedict would be eggs with Canadian bacon over an English muffin; this one was just not the best.

I drove around for a bit and found a spot across the street from The Shed, so I popped in for dinner. Service is excellent and the menu is extensive. Love that they serve breakfast all day (and some of the choices look insanely good). Plenty of healthy options as well, so I stuck to a warm grain bowl with veggies and grilled chicken. Absolutely delicious with fresh ingredients. It was VERY busy and my only complaint was the guy sitting at the table next to me. He was wicked annoying since all he did was complain about everything (like how much he hates Christmas music, how he couldn't tell if someone that walked in was a man or a woman, a constant commentary on everyone's food -including his own- and an exclamation on how I paid my bill with my phone (but i actually used my watch, dude). Anyway, this place is great. I think there's more than one location and if my little salad and iced tea (which was refilled without even asking) are any indication of how the rest of the menu is, I'd highly recommend checking it out.

The elegance is nice. Service (4/5): Understanding that the restaurant was extremely busy this day, we did not get the best service. They forgot to give us the table bread which we had to ask for after our appetizers came. They knew we were sharing everything so it was nice that they had pre-sliced everything and provided us sharing plates during the meal. Food (4/5): This is review is specific for their Mother's Day fixed prix menu ($125/pp which btw is $115 for Father's day 2026). Sad to say overall, the price point was not worth the food we received, as it was way overpriced. Potato bread (6/5): This is one of the best table bread I've ever had--the softness and flavors are so good that I would sacrifice stomach space for 5 servings of this! Use the leftover butter for your steaks! Blue Point Oysters (5/5): Super fresh! Delicious Lobster shrimp wontons (4/5): Wonderful presentation just okay on flavor. Lukewarm upon serving. Red Roof Roll (4/5): The portion of fish was pretty generous! Tasted fresh as well. They were out of the 38oz porterhouse for 2 by 7p. New York Strip Steak (4/5): Cooked as requested, however not enough fat to make it melt in your mouth as the cuts were a bit too tough. The dry aged taste was great. Filet Mignon (4/5): I don't think this piece was as good as I remember. It needed their house steak sauce to give the dish any flavor. Pork Tenderloin with Carrot Puree sauce (2/5): Each piece was tough, not much flavor to it, carrot sauce did not give it any more flavor. Scottish Salmon (5/5): This was my favorite dish of the 4; it was juicy and had lots of flavor to the butter sauce. Crème Brule and cheesecake were wonderful. The carrot cake was dry and half of it was leftover.

The food was okay (7.5/10) I had the iceberg wedge as my starter (9/10), next we shared a porterhouse for 2 (6/10) which could have used a bit more seasoning, thank goodness it came with a house made steak sauce which was DELICIOUS (I hated to use it because the meat's flavor should stand alone). This burrito brought up emotions I haven't felt for a breakfast in centuries. Warm and melty, it wasn't like any of these greasy, wet, fat covered offerings from other delis or breakfast shops around the island. Or that I've had in NY in general. They chopped the bacon, which let's be serious here, is the only way to do it. Eggs were fluffy, light. Cheese was nothing short of smoked magnificence. But the pièce de résistance, the glue that brings your taste buds to their knees, the tots. If you don't like tots, you're wrong. And these tots were somehow crispy and soft. No oil, no sog. The chipotle sauce brings it all home and then they grill the whole damn thing and serve it to you on a platter of gold and diamonds. At least that's how it felt. Do I recommend this? We got the butternut squash which sounded very fancy on the menu but was just butternut squash with a piece of fried prosciutto stuck in each portion on top of cacio e pepe sauce which by the way was broken. We also got what we thought was going to be artichokes on a bed of arugula but was mostly arugula with a few small pieces of artichoke and some pistachios. It was bland, definitely needed some vinegar or lemon or something. Not worth the price, I could have thrown that together myself at home. We also had the spinach/pear salad. Again, I could have made that at home. I got the lemon shrimp linguine. I liked the pasta, I liked the sauce, I did not like the shrimp that came with it. They were tiny and maybe boiled, just not great. We also had the ravioli. One big extremely dense ravioli, raviolo or whatever a singular one is technically called. It was ok but so dense and rich. We also had the bolognese. Not the best. For the prices we paid we expected greatness. We each had dessert. So for the 3 of us the bill came to almost $300 with tip. I personally felt like the service did not warrant the tip but we left it anyway. We weren't checked on, we had to wait a long time to get the bill and we paid by phone app. The service wasn't great. I think the best part of the entire night was the little bucket of candy that we got with the check. The gummy butterfly was delicious! No, we won't be back.

Getting the last table in the rear gave us relief from the chaos of young diners by the bar and was a cozy nook. Our server was gracious and brought us a fine bottle of Barbera da Alba , as well as a bread basket and an array of olives. The breadbasket had wonderful unique bread sticks and a nice flat cracker, however the bread seemed to be an oily, mealy, whole wheat perhaps, which was a disappointment. Places can't go wrong with a good crusty Italian bread, plain and simple, but i'm finding that a rare occasion instead replaced with bad rolls or greasy prepared sub bar bread. But we were not prejudging and looked forward to our primi piatte. My wife an I opted to split the arugula and parmesan salad, although we were tempted with the gorgonzola salad; not to be too critical, but a ceaser on the menu wouldn't have been bad. But the arugula was delish and the plate a decent size to split. We followed that with the linguine nera, black squid ink with cuttlefish; It was rich and the pasta had the right amount of bite and made for a great dish. That nice piece of bread would've been welcome to scarpe the bowl! Our friend got the gnocchi, with a braised short rib, which seemed to be enjoyed, but not raved over, unlike our black pasta. Another got the veal scaloppine which received similar meh reviews. We on the other had split the pulpo with veggies and Spanish spices and enjoyed the slightly charred and tender 8 armed mollusk. Overall, all the plates looked wonderful, were abundant and made us reminicrent of times in Italy with the hung Italian ads and pics. Sufficiently sated, we had decaf coffees, a cappucino and an espresso, no desserts, but the decaffs however had a strange appearance, seemingly watery, but was hot and did the trick, as did the surprise bowl of sour gummies to close out the meal. Eduardos was far from your run of the mill red sauce joint, which was appreciated and enjoyed.
