    Tomatoes & Fresh Mozzarella Panini

Love a Long Island diner, but prices don't match the quality! My friends and I grabbed dinner at Premier on a Wednesday night. There was no wait and service was fast/efficient! The menu is expansive and has everything you could want! I ordered the Tomato Mozzarella Panini and Curly Fries. The fries were flavorful and crispy! The sandwich was mid -- the tomatoes were overly soggy and the cheese wasn't melted enough. For $21, I expected better. I did enjoy the side of pickles and coleslaw!

Premier Diner has top-tier service, menu options, fresh ingredients, and modern decor. The prices are pretty steep, although the portions are large. I'd recommend splitting plates. All of the servers had a good sense of humor and welcoming attitude. The parking lot spots can feel limited at popular meal times but there is free 2-hour customer parking. The restaurant is ADA accessible.

Went out shopping & was hungry so tried this local Diner in Commack. The staff were friendly, the food was good & the portions were huge! The place was packed but service was nice & fast.

Our waiter, Nicos, was wonderful, friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. The menu truly has everything and then some. Prices are slightly on the higher side, but it's completely justified because the portions are huge. The atmosphere is super cozy, the food comes out incredibly fast, and having a full liquor license is a major plus. The Irish coffee is absolutely to die for. I seriously wish we had a place like this in Florida!

I'm only being so critical because of the price. In no world should a mediocre diner burger and a sub-par salad cost 30+ dollars. The place was popping on Sunday afternoon, so I guess some people are willing to pay. I'll give them the classic diner atmosphere, but that's about it. Our waitress was a little detached/disdaining, but I genuinely don't judge because I would be too. Service was fast, but the food was undeniably disappointing. The salad was a deceivingly large mound of iceberg lettuce, and the balsamic dressing was just objectively bad. To add chicken was an additional 9.25; shrimp would've been an addition 16/17! Although the protein comes on a quite generous side plate to my surprise, the chicken was considerably greasy and chewy. The burgers/turkey burger seemed better, but not by a long shot. Overall, it's just hard for me to find a reason to support this place.

There's nothing better than a classic diner! The vibes were just as you'd expect, with traditional booths. When we sat down at our table, they gave us a plate of beets... an interesting choice of appetizer, but I didn't hate it. They've got all the usuals here. I'd recommend sticking with burgers, sandwiches, or breakfast dishes, since those always seem to be solid. I got the corned beef sandwich and I was very happy with it! The side of coleslaw and pickles also hit the spot. I'd be more than happy to dine here again!

The French onion soup was beyond delicious and came out still sizzling!! So buyers beware to take your time not to burn yourself on that Oort gooey toasted cheese - it was not overly salty as I find most French onion soups can be. Recommend 100%. After that I tried a Greek salad which was plentiful With feta - bring on the cheese .. their homemade Greek dressing was what elevated this salad I ate every single piece of lettuce tomato cucumber and olive - it was delicious. I ordered the ginger salmon with was served with roasted sweet potato and pineapple with a ginger glaze - and opted to have it with rice and a mashed turnip. The rice was good and had a bit of peas and veggies in it elevating it a bit. The turnips were prepared with cinnamon to make it sweet and very reminiscent of the holidays - but the best part of the meal was the salmon itself. Cooked to perfection and a very generous portion I took about half or more Home with me. Just enough to save room for Oreo cake I chose for dessert. It was very good but very sweet as your could imagine - I also boxed up half of the cake as their pastries are all made in house and MASSIVE. I always saw premier diner being very busy whenever I passed by and I'm glad I took the time to see what the buzz was all about it was a step above any old diner and really packed a punch when it came to the food, taste - and portion size. There was quite a few dishes in the menu that I couldn't find online so keep In mind there's more than just sandwiches and breakfast foods. Their specials were plentiful and could cater to anyone's cravings be it fish chicken pork beef pasta or classic authentic Greek. Stop by premier diner and you don't be disappointed!

I ordered a burger and fries, and it was fantastic. The ambiance, aroma, and service were exceptional. Last week, we decided to return since our previous experiences had been wonderful. Upon entering the restaurant, we observed it was not very crowded, with only 3-4 tables occupied. We learned it was under new management, as the owner had sold the establishment. I ordered my favorite, a raw burger and fries, while my son chose a fruit salad that included bananas and berries. There was just one waitress who eventually took our order. The food arrived, but my burger was fully cooked instead of raw, and the buns were burnt in some spots. My son's dish came out missing the bananas. We pointed this out to the waitress, who went back to the kitchen and returned to inform us that they didn't have any bananas but could offer plantains (fried bananas) with honey as a substitute. It was banana-like, but not the usual banana. I let the waitress know that my burger was not prepared correctly. The restaurant manager noticed and approached our table, asking, "What seems to be the issue with the burger?" I explained that it was fully cooked and the buns were burnt. The owner then asked if I would like another burger, to which I replied, "Yes." While I waited for my burger, my son realized there was no sugar on the table for his drink. He spotted some sugar by the counter, just a few steps away, and went to get it. The manager/owner asked him, "What are you doing?" My son explained that there was no sugar. The manager instructed him to return to the table, assuring him that the waitress would bring it over. My son came back empty-handed. We requested sugar from the waitress, but he continued to wait. While the kids finished their meals, my burger still hadn't arrived. Eventually, my burger came, but the sugar never did. When it was time to settle the bill, we realized we were charged for a burger that was improperly cooked and burnt. I crossed out that burger entry and decided not to leave a tip for the waitress. The service was terrible, and the food was mediocre. I made a note on the bill indicating that one burger should not be charged. I even took a picture of it for my credit card in case the restaurant tried to pull a fast one. Days later, I came across a review that mirrored my own experiences. There was a rude manager and cook, an unskilled waitress and cook, and the table was not properly maintained. The phrase 'under new management' seems to equate to poor service.
