I was a little bummed because there weren't any prices written for the speciality drink items and I really didn't NEED to have a fancy drink that cost almost $7. With that said, I tried one of their Spring Specials, the Biscoff Bliss Latte. It was a little sweet, but the hints of Biscoff, Nutella, and cookie butter were prominent. The server was distracted, did not clear plates and the group was stacking plates to make space on their table. The server had to be asked to take the empty dishes away. No refills on drinks were offered, when the group sat down they asked for water. No waters came. They ordered cocktails, appetizers, and entrees. No water. After they finished entrees one of the group members walked over to the bar and asked for waters for their table because it had been over an hour since they had asked for water and I think that was patient enough. The drinks and food was wonderful, my mom even mentioned how she loved the drink she got and would've ordered another one had she been asked. I think it's pretty reasonable to expect to be asked if you want a refill once your drink is half empty or empty. And considering they had already asked for water and been ignored, it's hard to believe that asking would've been well received after they had already asked for a drink and been ignored for over an hour. The bill was sizable and they tipped based on the service they received. 15%. I don't think that's outlandish considering the table wasn't cleared, water wasn't served after asking, no drink refills offered. 15% is understandable. After they settled the bill, the bartender came out to ask the group why they tipped so low. A little rude but If you really want to know why the tip wasn't 20%, that's okay. The group explained that they noticed a lack of attention from Jessica, their server and that was reflected in the tip. The bartender was extremely condescending and tried to guilt the group by saying that the group got discounted drinks so they should tip more. The flier offered discounted drinks. They weren't given a discount to make up for the bad service or because of a senior discount. The establishment offered the promotion for an event and for the bartender to be so upset that they lecture the entire table about how they should tip more because the drinks were discounted. The group wasn't rude or unkind throughout the whole dinner and to be spoken to like that was unacceptable and ruined the entire experience. I guess the big takeaway here is if this establishment is hosting another event. Be prepared to be treated as if you are bothering the staff for showing up. Oh and tip 50% or else they'll come yell at you after the service. If I had the bartenders name I'd mention it here but I'm just so appalled at the lack of decorum
