The atmosphere is clean, fresh, and calm, which I love. I got oat honey latte and an Americano -- both were perfect. Heads up though a medium is tiny. They also did not have regular sugar (weird but maybe they just ran out). I got avocado toast which was very good. They keep it simple and clean. I would go back again.

I'm on a mission to try every coffee spot on Long Island. Went to Roto today in Bayshore. The inside was decorated very nice, gave a library feel almost. Lots of people inside doing work on their laptops. They have indoor and outdoor seating. I was sitting outside and moved inside because it got very windy. The latte was FANTASTIC! One of the best I've had so far. The grilled cheese was good, my one downfall is I added steak and crispy onions and when it came out it was roast beef. It was good but when I add on steak I'm not expecting roast beef and would rather them state that on the menu. The woman at the counter was kind and appreciated me brining up my dirty plate. The reason I gave this place a 3 was because of the steak issue and also I think they need more seating in the open space. I sat at a 2 top and people waiting on line were on top of me which was uncomfortable. Will give them another try in the future.

A new "all day" cafe in the heart of Bayshore, LI! Owners are sweet and working so hard to meet the demand of this place. The inside is beautiful and reminded me a bit of Ralph's cafe in NYC, but is uniquely its own. Outdoor space is also beautiful and they had a live guitarist playing music this Saturday. Service was great, a tiny bit slower than expected but it was insanely busy. Now to the coffee and food items. I got an iced bananas foster latte (cortado style for less milk) and it was fantastic and not too sweet. I could tell the syrup was homemade with real bananas. My fiance got an iced vanilla latte (also cortado style) which was also very good and made with real vanilla beans. If you prefer a sweeter coffee, I suggest adding your own sweetener because the syrups are not very sweet, but I liked that because you can always add sweetness and you can't subtract it! We also tried a few breakfast items. I tried the lox toast which was perfect in all ways. Fresh rosettes of lox, scallion cream cheese, chives, and fresh lemon. My fiance really liked the chorizo roll up which was served with hot sauce. The owner brought out our food items and was so kind to us. We will be back! :)

I went here for the first time for iced coffee on a Saturday, the inside is done so well with a separate bar for cocktails and a separate coffee area. The vibe was nice and I wish I had time to sit a while. The service was forties and fast and before I could finish my sentence they reassured me they would make an iced coffee that I would enjoy and they were right. I went back the next day for another. I look forward to having a cocktail and try a menu item next time.

Brock, Liv, and the whole staff are crushing it. Went for lunch the other day when in town and the new space looks incredible. Had the Tunacado, Pistachio Latte, and Banana Bread. Everything was delicious as always. Can't wait to come back on my next visit to LI.

WOW! (Not to be confused with Roto Grocery that's around the corner on Main st) What a gorgeous space for an "all day" cafe. Come for breakfast in the well thought out layout, and then come back in the evening for a wine/cocktail. Egg Sandwich was amazing. Staff is awesome. 12:30pm on a Friday and they have a guitar player outside where there are plenty of tables to enjoy Al Fresco. Apartments above are lucky to have a place like this in their building. Congrats Roto

Love this cafe I come here all the time for food and drinks. The cafe itself is such a vibe and a chill place to hang with friends. 10/10 recommend.

Omg...run dont walk. You know a place is 10/10 when you're still thinking about the burger the next day. The staff here is incredibly welcoming and friendly. The burger? Unreal/insane . Like, "cancel your plans tomorrow so you can come back for round two". The vibes at Roto are laid-back, lively, and the owners are some of the most talented and hard working guys ik

I had reached out online and Nikki, the co-owner, was prompt in responding with packages and options. I had shopped around with almost every restaurant in Bay Shore and their packages were the most reasonable. Communication with Nikki was seamless and easy. Booking required an upfront deposit, headcount was due 2 weeks before the event, and rest of the payment was due 1 week beforehand. We had the buffet style and got: -Choice of 3 cold platters: chopped iceberg salad, spinach salad, and orzo salad -Choice of one vegetable: grilled vegetables with balsamic glaze -Choice of starch: garlic mashed potatoes -Choice of pasta with an add-on pasta: penne ala vodka, orecchiette with sausage and broccoli -Choice of 2 hot entrees: bulgogi beef, seafood paella with an add-on salmon -Choice of 1 dessert: seasonal bread pudding The day of, I arrived about an hour early and set up was super easy as the upstairs is already gorgeously decorated for the holidays. The wait staff were already ready and very helpful in helping me bring in items. The sound system had Christmas music on already and they had set up part of the room with extra white linen tables for our white elephant activity and a DIY photobooth (which I brought). The entire event was wonderful and our group had a wonderful time. Every dish we got was INCREDIBLE and so tasty. There isn't a single dish that wasn't perfectly cooked and seasoned. My favorites were the the bulgogi beef, paella, salads, the orecchiette (but I'm a sucker for this dish), and bread pudding. The team was also very kind with dietary restrictions, putting meat/dairy salad toppings off to the side, and making vegetarian and vegan bibimbap bowls. Of note, their korean dishes are SPECTACULAR as Nikki's mom, Helen, is korean! Can't wait for next year's party and many of my team members are now interested in hosting their own parties here! Highly highly recommend!

My go-to are the Ceviche, Calamari, Korean Lettuce Wraps, and the Pan-Seared Scallops. The Ceviche is always amazing! Easily one of the best apps on their menu. The Calamari is well battered and seasoned with sweet chili. I love the Pan Seared Scallops - the figs, grits, and bacon give it a well-rounded taste of sweet and savory. This is one of my favorite seafood spots in Bay Shore (there are others) and one I visit often in the summer time. I recommend popping by if you're in the area, especially when the weather is warm out!

Let's talk about that $25 Thursday girls' night deal a martini, fries, and a Caesar salad? Yes, please. Of course, I couldn't ignore the oyster specials. $1 oysters + discounted varieties ($1 discount on every type of oyster) Dangerous. I ordered a dozen and shamelessly took them all down myself Fresh, briny, and absolutely worth it. My friend went the "balance" route with the grain bowl and added shrimp, which looked just as good as it tasted. Everything we had was on point. Service deserves a shoutout. Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and kept everything flowing smoothly without hovering. My martini was perfectly made (strong but smooth), and the overall vibe was lively, energetic, but still perfect for catching up. The vibe really made the night. I ordered a coconut mojito, but it tasted only like lime--there was no coconut flavor at all or any rum which would have been ok don't need it to be strong but tasted like you were sucking on a lime. Two of us ordered tortilla soup, which had no flavor! It didn't resemble tortilla soup at all. It was a thick, non-translucent broth with large chunks of carrots, barely any tortilla strips, and it was served lukewarm again - no flavor ironically the server said the soup of the day was spicy tortilla chicken soup, no spicy, no flavor, no bueno! One of my friends ordered a quesadilla with a side of rice. The menu described the rice as "toasted with garlic," but she said it tasted like plain steamed minute white rice with no seasoning. We ended with coffee and churros. The coffee arrived well before the churros, and when the churros finally came, three had cinnamon sugar and one did not at all. None of them were warm, and the dough inside was undercooked and raw. All three of us agreed that the food lacked flavor across the board. Thankfully, the company was great, which made the experience more enjoyable than the meal itself. Hopefully, this was just an off day for the kitchen, but overall it was a very disappointing lunch.
