Since the update on their Mobil app and reward shift, getting stars are now easier to get. Instead of getting a star for a single purchase, you get two stars for every dollar you spend. Of course, you have to accumulate 125 stars as opposed to the 12 stars to get a free drink, but with this system, you can rack them fairly quickly. And if you pay attention to their promos, you may sometimes get 4 stars to every dollar you spend. Neato! Tried the Cold Brew at Starbucks today. Fantastic. This was not on the menu at Wantagh, but since I had moved Islip, it is here. So, to me it's fairly new. I had 3 shots of espresso, white chocolate mocha and a mocha drizzle. Wow! I was completely blown away. I highly recommend this to any coffee lover. 'Nuff said. The Double Double Fudge Bar Frappé is fabulous! 'Nuff said. The Chili Mocha is to die for. If that don't wake you up on some chili (chilly) mornings, then nothing will. Pumpkin is back as well and great as ever. The Tuxedo Mocha is out of this world. In fact, it was so good, that it went out of stock in a matter of a couple of days. I would recommend it, but you may have to wait until December before they offer it again. Tried the new Frappecino the Unicorn. It was awesome! To me it tasted like a Peach Melba with Warheads (the candy that starts sour and then turns sweet) added. It was like a party in my mouth. This one will be brief - as far as Starbucks's's'ssssss are concerned, this one is particularly nice since you're able to get in and out fairly easily, the staff is quite friendly, the drinks are served to you quicker than the average Starbucks which have mostly all turned to shit since they've gotten so slow. What the extra bonus about this Starbucks is, their unique outdoor front seating that allows you to enjoy your beverage while catching some of that cool and crisp east Islip air. For this spot, I have to give them props for the quiet patio outside. Super fun to grab a cup and get a view of Main St, while not being bothered by traffic or in the middle of the sidewalk. The inside is standard, if not a bit dark, so def snag an outdoor table if you can. Staff interaction was brief but friendly and efficient. No problem there. I've been to Starbucks all over the US and in many other countries, and this makes my top ten. I've been here many times and this review is based on consistent experiences. It's spacious and they have plenty of - though not particularly aesthetic outdoor seating, front and back door for ease of winter time running in from your car. There is a friendly staff here that sticks around so you can get to know them and they make an effort to know your name. The bathrooms are always clean here and they just put up a hook in the Ladies' room so you don't have to put your purse on the diaper changing table. This SBux is not as cold inside as seems to be the MO of most Starbucks. Every drink tastes great here every time. Nice seating with a few armchairs - it can get full at times especially after school lets out, and there isn't a good n close cafe backup in the neighborhood. read more

This coffee shop is the closed to me I rarely go to Starbucks since I'm so addicted to 7 11 Coffee, to me it's a bit over priced but when I get the itch I really haven't had a bad latte here. I paid. Moved on to next counter and waited for my drink.......... Soon I noticed a plain latte sitting there. A mistake maybe I thought. Not my order, I'll wait and see. I came at night time once after 8:00 to get coffee and the staff that was being trained was super sweet, confident, and helpful. Great people. This place would be a nice hangout if it weren't for the 500 Islip preteens who think the same thing. In the summer time, they crowd the front patio and you get the death stare as you walk past them. I actually love everything about this Mattituck Starbucks, Management, baristas, astmospere but today when I went in it was absolutely ridiculous. The straws and bags were put behind the counter so we couldn't reach them, the mobile order pick up stand was no longer there. This presents a very big problem not only for the mobile order customers but for those of us who are standing there waiting for our drinks to be made. Now the barista needs to stop making my drink which changes the dynamics of it and has to make the mobile order customer wait as well to get their drinks. I am assuming your doing this for customer contact and all your doing is frustrating everyone. If your looking for a saucy experience and plentiful basic white girls, this is the place for you. Me and my husband loved their bottled water, it's to die for!!! They had decent coffee and etc. The Wi-Fi there is incredible I am able to write my book whenever I'm there to get bottled water. Also the place next store on main street true value hardware store is great they have everything I've ever wanted. The managers are incredibly nice and extremely knowledgeable. The staff there is friendly and insightful. They have the perfect recipe of young and old. My favorite worker there is a kid the goes by the name of Frank B. He's not only smart he's young.
