Maureen kitchen is a very homey place with alot of different dishes for breakfast and lunch. There is indoor as well as outdoor seating. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating . We got an omelet which was a nice sized filled with meat. The coffee was very good and was always refilled before we asked. There is a reason this restaurant is always crowded.

First foremost, my waitress was amazing. She dead was running the front by herself and being from the kitchen background I know what it's like to literally have people around you and you literally do everything by yourself she held that shit down. I will definitely be coming back they had country bacon they had some of the best hashbrowns I've ever had and from a distance I'm looking at the pancake station that boy was crossing out pancakes left, and right ambience gave you a nice homie feeling the expediter is putting in pain. He was on point definitely made me feel like home thank you. Excuse me what is your name cause I wanna leave you a yelp review thank you. Marsala and Nancy the server was amazing and Vito the expo guy really stand up guy kitchen busy absolutely didn't fold

How the mighty have fallen. What an experience from Maureen and her once wonderful kitchen. Breakfast is dead, Maureen probably is too at this point. Sure we all loved waiting hours to grab some elbow room and a sugar bomb for breakfast but man, at least the service used to be good. Maybe. Let's end this hype trance already. Let's stop allowing them to rob everyone blind. I ate there recently and knew it just wasn't the same, but I wanted to give them a chance and got some things delivered. BIG MISTAKE. I dnno, serves me right for ordering breakfast like a loser, just had a craving and figured I ain't broke, but man, did they break the spirit.

Awesome place for breakfast. Had a classic bacon egg cheese on a roll. Great service and very friendly atmosphere. Also had the hash and it was outstanding!

Maureen's Kitchen is a cute little breakfast spot with an iconic cow decor theme. Perfect spot for breakfast lovers offering all your favorite morning bites. I ordered the #2, comes with your choice of 2 pancakes - (I opted for banana nut) eggs, 1 sausage, and 2 strips of bacon. Very filling and so good. Decent portions and friendly quick service. Def worth adding to the list of breakfast spot favs.

Came here on a Sunday morning and it was quite busy. But the restaurant was very spacious so we were able to snag a seat without having to wait for too long. The restaurant was nicely decorated with a rustic farm vibe that was very inviting. The staff were so attentive and friendly even with how busy the restaurant was, so huge kudos to them. The food was also very worth the drive. The lemon ricotta pancake was not too sweet but I loved that the flavors blended together perfectly. I also tried the prosciutto omelette and loved how it was less oily compared to a traditional diner. I left very full but wanting to revisit to try other items on their menu!

Great breakfast for big portions with the family. I ordered the French toast, eggs, sausage and bacon. Babe, asked for banana pancakes and Canadian bacon. The service was great, very attentive and felt at home. Ambiance was great we had a outside enclosed patio seat.

Since moving off of LI, I find myself missing Maureen's Kitchen so much. I always have to eat here when i'm on the island. The sandwiches are always phenomenal and so filling. Can't wait to come back!

We come here all the time and love it! Only down side is cash only but they do have an atm! The food always comes hot and the specials are delicious I had puppy's skillet and it was so good with avocado, hash brown and hot honey! Our waitress was attentive and came back multiple times to fill up my coffee without having to ask. The resultant is covered in cows which is so fun for the kids!

Great spot for brunch! I love coming here with friends and family. There's a wide selection of brunch and lunch options, and the food is tasty with generous portions. Prices are reasonable, and the cow-themed decor adds a fun and charming touch. We came on a busy Sunday, but the wait to be seated was short. Service was quick and friendly. Overall a great experience!

Came for brunch, ordered loaded tots, strawberry pancakes, and apple, sausage and cheddar omelette. Everything is good, the loaded tots was great. The chorizo was a good touch with the jalapeños. It is a little spicy but not much. The service was great, there was a wait time of about 10 minutes on a weekday. This a cash only establishment. They conveniently have a ATM on site as well.

Can I order the baked oatmeal vegan (without cows milk)?

No I’m sorry it’s made with regular milk before it is baked

Do we need a reservation for noon on Valentines day 2/14/2023?

they do not take reservations, first come first serve with an in person waitlist.

Do they still only take cash (even during COVID)?

Yes, they are still cash only.

Any vegan options for breakfast? Just saw the veggie sandwich on the lunch menu? Not many "options"....

Best bet is to call Maureen's. My daughter is vegan...not sure if there is a separate frying station for vegans?! If u go I hope u will have a nice vegan meal!

Wondering what the wait is like on a normal weekday? Around 9am-10Am?

10-15 min the most depending on the size of the party. If it's 2 people you'll be sitting down within 5 min

Do they have Gluten Free options?

    No sorry we do not

    Is this place Handicap accessible?

They have a ramp and I have seen folks with walkers and wheelchairs there. The staff is very accommodating. The bathroom is a bit tight for the wheelchairs as you have to go through an entry way near the coffee/beverage station to a small hallway…

    Do they take reservations?

    No, first come first serve.

    Do you accept credit cards?

    No, they are cash only.

Again, I priorly asked the hostess and waiter if it was okay I sit for 20 min. Before they close. I feel like I want to puke now. Idc about professional service, or whatever it's called. I communicated that I would've found another place if they just told me that they're not taking sitters. Not nice. Never returning again. The Waiter agreed and recleaned the table. Orders were placed. Took 40 mins for our food to come out. The other people in my party made modifications to their order and I ordered exactly as it was listed on the menu . After waiting for 40 minutes for the food, my order the unmodified one was completely wrong. We tried to tell the food runner, he ignored me and put the plate down. He walked away. We waved him back over and told him again this was not the order. He took it back and then went to speak to our waiter. He came over and said what happened? We explained this was not what I ordered. He then went and looked at something and then came back and said I will have them remake this. This whole process took long enough that my friends were already eating. 10 minutes later the food was still not out. I called the waiter back over and told him to just cancel it. He said the manager was coming and she came over a few minutes later with the food. I told her I didn't want the food I was too annoyed at that point to eat. She said take it home. What I had cannot be reheated. She said well I'll leave it here because I'm throwing it out either way. Crepes with fruit on top just don't reheat well! At the point that the manager finally came by to bring the food my friends were 90% done with their meals! Everytime I looked at this manager she was on her cell phone, talking, texting or staring at it. I went to the bathroom and came out of the stall and the manager was doing talk to text in the bathroom. Perhaps if she stayed off her phone orders wouldn't be getting screwed up or patrons would not be sat at dirty sticky tables! Her whole attitude and demeanor ruined our whole experience there. She truly didn't seem to care. My friends picked at my dish but I was too annoyed to eat. I have eaten at Toast in Patchogue and Bayshore and enjoyed both experiences on every occasion that I have been there. I have eaten at this Toast three different times and every time I have left disappointed by the service but this is by far the worst! For all that aggravation she took my meal off and that was it. So thank you for ruining our nice girls lunch!
