The pastry counter was loaded with selections of beautiful cake slices, Cannoli, and pastries that represent probably 20 different countries around the globe..they also had an ice cream area and a bar so we will check that out next time. This location is in sea cliff long island but when you walk through it you'll feel like your on Los Olas Blvd or South Beach in Florida. Each time I've been there, I've had a different version of iced coffee, with the pistachio being my favorite. They will customize your drink any way you want. Another thing I noticed is how they have a wooden playset of a barista station in the corner for young children. How nice is that? For the entree, we tried two Kerala specials- the Alleppey Fish Curry and Nadan Chicken Curry. We were dining in the restaurant and Elizabeth was so attentive and sincere in ensuring our experience was pleasing so she had me taste each for the spice levels once they arrived at the table. We had children in our party so we decided the chicken curry might need to be less spicy and she took it back to the kitchen to add more coconut milk and brought yogurt to help. She initiated making sure that everyone was having a good experience. We also had chicken biryani and both poratta and garlic naan. So comforting and fresh! Everything is made to order. So it can be easily accommodated to any palate or allergy. Elizabeth even noticed one of my children was looking a little cold and offered to adjust the thermostat! She also noticed a couple younger children were favoring the breads over the curries so she recommended the butter chicken and then surprised us with the dish on the house!
