This is nothing like the quality of product the old owners gave to customers - was unaware it was bought about a year ago - stale cartucci such a tiny amount of cannoli filling in stale pastry - 5 bucks each - not worth 50 cents to be honest - cookies the large one 5 dollars everything grossly overpriced and underwhelming ! A woman came in for a small tray of cookies 1 lb she told her 36 dollars - come on !! The bread was small - better going to uncle Giuseppe's for at least bread - sad that this place was bought out ! We miss them ! Plus the new owners very cold and not embracing of customers ! read more

This used to be a great Italian family owned bakery. My kids grew up on the cookie every holiday.... then it all stopped. The prosciutto bread is salami bread, but still $7 for a small loaf. Ok but dont says its prosciutto! In the just year or so new owners took over and it really sucks more than just the bread. Everything is smaller, less flavor .. but higher prices? Come on you replace real butter with lard, dont try to object it's obvious in your mouth! Do yourself a favor and accept villa bella is dead and the replacement isn't italian and knows no quality! read more

Was excited to order the 24 mini pastries advertised on their instagram and door dash. Unfortunately, they arrived and was pretty surprised to see only 12 pastries, only half of what was advertised. It came sealed in a paper bag so I know the dasher wasn't at fault. Not a fan of deceptive marketing. read more

I shop here for my birthday cake orders, and their cannoli's are great! Good service and I'm always happy with pastries I buy there!

This was my first visit and it felt like stepping into a bakery in Italy. The aromas were amazing and hearing Italian spoken behind the counter confirmed this is the real deal. Most importantly, the pastry was delicious. Absolutely authentic. Can't wait to return. read more

Place an order for pick up for two lobster tails Drove over a half an hour to pick it up. Then the woman who I spoke with on the phone said she had no idea what I was talking about and maybe I called the wrong number even though I know I didn't. Tried to pick out something else since I drove all the way there and she was plain rude and clearly did not want my service. I will not be going back and will not be recommending this place to others. read more

When Bill S. gives this a five star, and I do too.. but Franco C. and Joe D. gives it a 1 star... what to do? Time to head over and decide for yourself. Old fashioned not too commercial real deal Italian Bakery in an old brick building on a back block somewhere in West Babylon. GPS this and weigh in on this 5 or 1 star discussion. Don't rush in or out.. look around and take in the Italian Bakery vibe. Get some coffee and chill out and leave with some crusty bread and bakery items that appeal to you visually. Bring some to friends or relatives. So far so good for anyone I've brought things to. If you like bright shiny same everywhere bakery stuff... you may not fully appreciate this fine example of authentic Italian baking... I have a feeling if the companies that sell everything prepackaged came in they would be tossed out. Hahah.. I am sure somethings are standard but so much here seems more real deal. Like someone has his own recipes and is actually baking. Love this place. Love the small cassata pastries and other rustic style ones. read more

Villa Bella Bakery - Bakeries Near Me - West Babylon, New York

Great old school Italian bakery. Amazing pastries and Rainbow cookies. Nice staff always clean and delicious

I just wanna say the food is GREAT and the staff was nice. It's run by old school Sicilian/Italian women which I do love. I love how it looked as well. All Sicilian/Italian items around the place. You can sot and eat on one/two tables. I got a box of pastries and a box of cookies. They both went so fast. I used to work in a bakery when I was 17 and the food and smell of the bakery brought me back. I'll definitely be coming back to grab some more stuff read more

Villa Bella Bakery is always delicious!! Love the lobster tails, cookies, pastries, bread, cakes- everything is soo good!!

A friend gave me a huge arrangement of cookies from this incredible bakery , I had to look it up and find it for myself! I'm not even a cookie person but these cookies were something else... I couldn't stop eating them , huge variety and every cookie was amazing . The rainbow cookies were super moist and delicious , another top favorite were the Pignoli cookies . It's a bit far from me but I will definitely be making the drive one day to treat myself , would love to try some other desserts and the cakes look great too ! read more

This past weekend was my 25th birthday. My boyfriend went to villa bella bakery to get my cake for my party. The picture shown of the white cake was an example that he showed the old woman at the counter of what we wanted. She confirmed that she would be able to style the cake like that. We requested a chocolate cake with chocolate moose filling, purple icing on the outside with white writing, which she also confirmed she could do. As you can see from the photos, they attempted to replicate what i asked for with little success. I could live with the fact that the cake didn't really look like what i wanted, but when we cut into the cake after singing happy birthday, we discovered that it was not a chocolate cake- but lemon! The lemon with the chocolate moose filling was not appetizing to say the least. A few days later (because of the holiday) my mother went in to speak to the old woman about the cake. She was so unbelievably rude and made comments to my mother such as "he knew what he was getting" and "good don't come back here". Needless to say, we will never be coming here again and if you order a custom made cake from them, I would be very careful. read more

Very rude. I came in smiling and nice saying "Good morning". The owner who's an older lady with the rudest face just said "yes". Customer service is everything to me , if you're rude that's an automatic turn off for me. There's tons of bakeries I rather support before supporting this one. read more

This is by far the best bakery. I had gone for the first time this past Sunday and the minute I walked in it felt like home. It's run by an Italian family and their pastries were to die for. Brings me back to my Brooklyn days. I highly recommend and will be going back often. Ty for taking me back to my roots. read more

Beautiful authentic (as far as I can tell) bakery in a convenient location with great prices. Their cannolis are beautiful and taste even better than they look. There was a nice Italian woman that helped us out and she added nice touches to our cannolis. Looking forward to trying other options there, they really had too much to choose from. On a side note, cannolis weren't on display because they're obviously piped fresh on the spot. They come in small and large, just get the large. read more

Villa Bella Bakery - Bakeries Near Me - West Babylon, New York

Just like Villa alba but only here on Long Island always the best Sicilian pastries the traditional cassata cake is one of my favorite cakes of all time and cannoli is the best on Long Island and the cartoccis are a to die for they also have very good arancini and the bread is always fresh Villa alba on 18 avenue and Villa Bella are the two most authentic Sicilian bakeries in the country read more

Well New York And Long Island are very competitive bakery and pastry markets , After buying and assorted varieties of pastries and bakery items out of there cases on a Saturday they were stahl over priced for Long Island the worst I had ever had !! Do yourself a favor and keep on going when going here !!!!! Super market pastries (uncle Guessippe) Put there stuff too shame !!!!! The best available is Dortoni in Levittown or the best of the best Villa Bata in Brooklyn. Save your money don't go here , after a few tastes we threw them out!!!!!!!!!! read more

The absolute BEST Italian bakery on Long Island. Wherever I bring pastries I get raves. The service is amazing. They speak italian and I love when they say the names of everything that I remember when my mom and my dad were alive. You go into a bakery today and say cuccidada and the kids look at you like you're from space. Honestly I've tried every bakery and no one compares to this place. Get the cannolis and the prosciutto bread. You're Welcome!! read more

Have been going 2 VBB forever ! Amazing bakery ... girls behind the counter are so so sweet, patience and answer all questions if yiu have any ... Keep up the great baked goods Villa Bella !! read more

Excellent Italian bakery serving all the classic stuff. Good bread and pastries, cookies and cakes.

They don't make them like this anymore. This bakery is old school. Delicious Italian baked goods - as good as I have ever tasted. And they have coffee! I recommend the lobster tails, bocconotti, and cannoli. Someone else's one-star review gave me a good laugh talking about the woman behind the counter getting irritated that they interrupted her Italian soap opera. I'm here to tell you - that is an Italian nonna! You don't mess with their soap operas- haha! These are family-owned businesses, the kind that have lasted generations and should be cherished. Get to know the people behind the counter. My own experience was very positive. Anyway - try it out! Enjoy with coffee and family or friends. This is the best Italian bakery in the area that I have found. read more

Great Italian cookies, even better butter cookies, amazing pastries ... the bread is perfect! This ya a true Italian bakery, this is the place you wanna go! Great staff, and great vibes! read more

Been a customer for years up until today purchased a semolina bread for $3 was a little bigger than the size of a hero.

When I go to a bakery, one thing I look for is the lobster tail pastry. V. Bella has them, and OMG, it was, by far, hands down, the best. They offer either cannoli, or French cream. I chose the French. It was perfect. Their Napolean, awesome. The woman helping me was old school Sicilian, and pleasant to talk to. There are a couple of tables to sit and eat. The store is clean, neat, and easy to find. Plenty of parking. No doubt I will return with Wifey. read more

Stop and get a pound of mixed cookies! (Screams the wife from the car) And don't get any jelly cookies, they don't go well with coffee. What what?? I'm reading these reviews, what the HECK is going on here? I am telling you, these cookies are the real deal. Straight outta Brooklyn by way of Sicily. I didn't have the Canolis here (Which looked incredible) I didn't have the Italian bread here. Uh uh I didn't have the pastries here. Nope I didn't have the homemade gelato that my friend Tracy K said is off the chain. Sad Face What I got here was cookies. Italian cookies. And these cookies are the *BEST* I ever had in Long Island. That's right. The pignoli cookies tasted so fresh, it was intoxicating to me! Made with almond paste and fresh pignoli nuts. This cookie with its simple ingredients is not a simple thing to make. I've had some sticky, limp pignoli cookies in my day. The Villa Bella Italian Bakery pignoli cookie? Had that delicate balance that I've been craving all my life. Rainbow cookies? A-mazing!!!! Those thin chocolate wafer cookies? Yum! Oh yeah, the jelly cookies on the bottom??? When you buy jelly cookies from a supermarket, they have a trans fat fakeness that you can feel on your tongue. Not these babies. Fresh like my kids asking me for the keys to my car. Haters stop hatin'! The cookies here are amazing, i'll be back for the rum pastries :) read more

Villa Bella Bakery - Amazing!!!!! - Bakeries Near Me - West Babylon, New York

The best lobster tails anywhere. They got the French cream right, and they are making them larger and fuller like they used to do in Brooklyn. Very fresh and crunchy. Villa Bella, your customers take notice. read more

Tips: If you're used to a classic rainbow cookie do not get it here, you will be let down Pros: variety of Italian pastries, coffee drinks, and gelato, quick service, seating area and atmosphere Cons: the jelly/jam used in the rainbow cookie is not what I am used to When you walk in you are taken back by the variety of baked goods they have available. I purchased an assorted variety just by how tasty they appeared. The only treat whose name I know was the rainbow cookie. They were all super tasty except the rainbow cookie. The rainbow cookie had an apricot like jelly filling, which is not what I'm used to. I would definitely go back for more pastries but skip out on the rainbow cookies. read more

The best Italian bakery around the area! Love the woman talking Italian and making traditional Italian pastries

This bakery was just okay. I did come during the late afternoon but there were maybe 2 cakes to choose from which was disappointing. I needed a birthday cake and was underwhelmed. I ended up getting a strawberry shortcake and asked if they could write on it but was told they'd put a happy birthday sign on it which was fine, but typically when you ask a bakery they will write on it. The cake ended up tasting good enough but nothing special. Not sure if I'd return. read more

Best cannoli cream EVER. This classic Italian bakery has such amazing patties, I've been here every weekend for lobster tails and cannolis. The lobster tail shells are so crispy. They stay crispy even after putting them in the fridge, which I don't recommend but if you absolutely must, know that they will still be crispy. The cannoli shells are also crunchy and delicious. I wish they weren't so dark but my husband actually likes them that way. What I love about the cannoli cream recipe is that it is not super sweet and it's a bit dense. You really taste the cheese. Outstanding. If you're in the area, definitely pick ups some pastries. You won't be disappointed. read more

I hand selected three 1 lb boxes of cookies but when I got home she had filled them with nothing that I had asked for . Although I paid for expensive Italian cookies I received garbage that I could have gotten at Kmart . She tied the boxes and gave them to me and I never realized it until I got home 4 hours away. when I called her she said she said something about bringing them back when I told her how far away I was she said she didn't remember it but would call me back the next day and never did. She knew I was trait of town because I told her how excited I was to bring these cookies home to my family read more

This bakery was recommended to me by several people in the area. I ordered a white cake with whipped cream icing or frosting (according to the woman there is a difference?) with a Happy Birthday message, to be ready at 1:00 p.m. I was there at approximately 1:10 to pick it up. It had not yet been written on. When I ordered it I had asked about decoration and was told yes there would be green leaves and stuff around it. When I picked it up, there was no other color than the birthday message and some blue squiggles applied after I arrived. When I asked about the promised colored decoration, the woman said they were out of them and were waiting for the company to bring more. Couldn't they have used the stuff they write with to make some kind of decoration on the sides of the cake? This is at 1:00 on a Saturday afternoon, when I ordered the cake on Tuesday or Wednesday. The whipped cream was tasteless, and many of us did not even finish our slice. The balance of the cake was disposed of after the guests left. I will not be returning. read more

A one of a kind place that manages to leave the flavor out of the baked goods. I bought some sesame cookies here - took them straight to work and took my first bite. Hmmm I wonder where the flavor is? My coworkers didn't touch them which is a sure sign that they sucked, those people are like locusts... I went back over this past weekend and bought a nice looking loaf of semolina wheat bread - another favorite of mine. Took it home in anticipation of my yummy chicken marsala. Sliced it all up nice and neat, sat down took a bite and NO flavor! Bread with no flavor at all! I know everyone is looking for bread with no carbs, but this has got to be a first! That's it, I'm done with this place. read more
