1 pumpernickel bagel with light cream cheese and a med coffee for $7.00 and the bagel was an average bagel. Won't be back.

So yummy. Wish the cookies were a tad bit bigger with more jelly but as far as an italian bakery goes, it's a winner

Terrible tasting bakery cookie trays, also rainbow cookies, and small cake bites, subpar and expensive, pick rolls and bread instead.

Stopped in to grab a bite around 1PM on a Saturday. Ordered a Sausage, Egg, and Cheese on an…read moreEverything Bagel. Pros: The staff was nice. The bagel was large. Cons: The bagel felt dry. The sausage & egg were not large enough for the bagel. This was also one of the more expensive bagel sandwiches I've bought in the area and I don't think the quality matches the price. The place also felt messy and unclean. Maybe the quality and cleanliness would have been better if I got food first thing in the morning, but I don't think I'll be heading back here anytime soon given the other options in the area.

If this place was ever really worthy of the high Yelp rating, I'd be pretty shocked…read more As soon as I moved back to the island, the first thing I immediately missed was walking downstairs to my bodega and getting egg sammies in the morning, then walking downstairs to the same awesome bodega, full of craft beers, in the middle of the night for chicken over rice and sh*t... so, I urgently searched for a nearby deli (there are none) but this place is all I've got other than the spot in the train station. So I made my way over there to try em out. Long Island really rapes you on a bacon egg and cheese, or at least this crap-hole does. Paid something close to $9 and it was god awful. I have a hard time believing this ever could have been good. I see 80-90% of the pix on here are from one dude three years ago, some look good n all, but this place is anything but. Hard pass. Signed - a guy struggling with living on Long Island again.

My family and I spent several days trying to satisfy our craving for a good New York bagel and found our way to New York Bagel Company one morning. We may have come in on an off morning for them, but unfortunately we were extremely let down with the bagels that were used for our egg sandwiches. We ordered one sandwich with an everything bagel and the other sandwich on a garlic bagel. Unfortunately, both tasted extremely flavorless and the bagels themselves were an odd texture, almost as if they had been microwaved. My husband was so disappointed he went back to the cash register area to ask for a refund. Management stood by their product asserting that they did not put their sandwiches in the microwave. The manager remained extremely professional and offered a refund on the sandwiches. We were so surprised, but extremely grateful for the gesture. The service was the best part of our breakfast that morning. The bagels missed the marks for us and would be the main reason we would likely not return in the future.

Paid $80 for 1 sandwich 2 coffees (one that couldn't be enjoyed) and a small cup of watermelon. They credited me $10. What a joke. I had paid for uber so there was no getting it corrected.

Crazy house is more like it…read more I have never seen more foot traffic in a place than here. They're doing something right. First of all the presentation of all the food was just spectacular. Service was outstanding. I sat with family and enjoyed a simple tea and toast today. My sister-in-law order the Matcha with blueberry, she let me grab a sip and it was very refreshing, perfectly balanced blueberry, it was sweet but not too sweet paired with the Matcha tea. Not only delicious but very pleasing to the eye it's beautifully displayed in their clear cup. This place feels upscale, trendy. The food options are plentiful. Can't wait to return. It's a place to stop in and check out.

I thought it would be dead, but to my surprise it was still pretty busy! Its a small little place, but still a few options to sit down and eat or just sip your java. Bonus points for excellent music choice, very indie singer/songwriter style that made for a nice relaxing atmosphere. Starting with the reason you're probably going here, the coffee. I got a peanut butter latte, and my girlfriend got one of their winter seasonal choices in the ginger bread latte. both served hot. The PB was very smooth and lightly sweet, but the ginger bread one in my opinion takes home the trophy this time. As for lunch we did their sandwich/wrap and a salad combo, which as far as I am concerned is the best deal I've ever seen, Panera eat your heart out. I got the buffalo chicken wrap with a side caesar salad, and my girlfriend got the fig & brie sandwich, with a side peach and avocado salad. The buffalo wrap was nice and light with grilled chicken and a buffalo sauce that seemed almost more like a vinaigrette and the caesar was about as classic as it gets. The fig and brie was an unexpected plus for me and eats almost like a caprese sandwich, while the peach and avocado salad was super fresh, fruit in salad doesn't quite do it for me personally, so we split the trophy for our lunches. My only "major" downside is that the food is served on wooden paddles, I personally like a plate, but that is more of me just being a nit-picker more than anything else. Parking is pretty ample with spots both in the front and the back of the attached lot, but be careful when you're pulling up the first time, you're bound to miss it, I know I almost did!
