I wish I had photos but we finish half the goods in the car on the way home. The doughnuts are phenomenal and priced way better than the chain store greaseballs you buy by the dozen. Their cheese danish is the best I have ever tasted in my entire life, and there is something magical about the chocolate chip cookies. They're a mix between crunchy and soft, which sounds weird but just try it. The sugar somehow caramelizes to make a slightly sticky wonderful texture with every bite and oh my gosh just go and buy all the things. Staff is helpful with recommendations and have never suggested anything that wasn't out of this world. Great to eat yourself, great little treats to bring as a guest to a dinner party. Great great. Sometimes people find that fact to be awesome while others might recoil from that statement. Trust me. It's a cool factor more than anything else and honestly it would make me more intrigued by what you find at 7/11 stores. But if you can't get past this convenience store connection, you just have to go into Glenn Wayne's super clean interior with a clear mind and realize that their pastries and baked goods are truly legit. Whether it's brookie trays, apple fritters, cookies, cakes, or something else that tickles your sweet tooth, you'll get legit quality here. Plus you'll even find a decent selection of gluten free options which is super cool for those in need of them. Okay. If anyone knows GW, they might've been wondering how I could neglect to mention the biggest draw of this bakery: donuts. Forget Dunkin', Krispy Kreme, even Duck Donuts. The donut varieties and quality at Glenn Wayne is incredible. They have such a wide array of flavors and everything is baked and made fresh daily. You know this to be true because each day you can come to GW for their "happy hour" which offers up half price donuts (for whatever is left). There's a lot of variety to be had in this unlikely location tucked away in an industrial park, but the quality and flavor of the donuts and cookies we bought here fell well below the hype level and the external appearance of all five of the different items we tried: Boston Cream, Chocolate Chip Cookie, a Blueberry Jelly, a Raspberry Jelly, and a Chocolate Drizzled Custard-Filled Croissant. All the items were fresh and looked attractive, but flavors were flat. Very much a convenience store kind of donut that left us with a 'hole' lot of disappointment. We didn't finish any of them. Blown away by this place ! I never go that far out in the island but I had a rare Dr appt in the area . I first heard about this place on social media and never actually expected to visit . I'm so glad I did first impression was wow it's like the Disney world of donuts ! It's self serve which I found unusual and interesting and I love the idea just wear gloves as they are provided . I got a 6 pack which was 8.50 they have the box bottom on the shelves but you don't get the top till you pay and check out which is smart . I got the Boston cream the cinnamon cream and a glazed as well as a cookie and cream donut . I wanna lie and said I took a small bite of each one but as I have to pics to post ... well yes I ate them all . I know it's a lot of calories but it was worth it . Perfect setup, everything is easy to access, huge variety of baked goods to choose from. Staff is friendly and accommodating at 6am, the store is very clean and easy to get through. Ok so, I haven't visited this place at all. Someone was kind enough to bring a few boxes to our office. Chose a half of chocolate frosted chocolate, not thinking much of it, and boy w as I shocked! For a place that supplies to 7/11, this place is legit. The donut is tender and jam packed with chocolate flavor. It's very rich, like a nice chocolate cake. Ended up only taking half because it was too much for me in the morning . But if that is how good one donut is, I can only imagine how the others are! Highly disappointed went there today to get a chocolate glazed cake doughnut and for some reason, they decided to put chocolate icing on them today. Ask them if I could get just a chocolate glazed doughnut told me something about they've been busy lately and they can't. Visit Date: July 24, 2020 Bohemia has a knack for awesome gluten-free bakeries. Glenn Wayne serves both regular and gluten-free. I wandered in here after a hike it was a little confusing to find because it's located in a big building off a driveway and not off a main road. The bakery is mostly self service. Right now because of COVID precautions when you walk in they ask you to use sanitizer and put gloves on and of course wear your mask. The gluten-free items are already sealed or served to you but the regular items you grab yourself. I got some stuff for my family, got myself two giant gluten free pastries or donuts one with apple filling and one with raspberry filling. Both were so delicious. I also got the gluten-free chocolate chip cookies which were good as well. I love Glenn Wayne as well as no gluten kneaded and I'll be back to both bakeries when I can. read more

For the past three months a coworker has been bringing in divine treats from Glenn Wayne Bakery in Bohemia. I am embarrassed to admit it but i am addicted! I remember the first time he placed the big box on a table in the middle of the office and i graciously said no thank you. Finally after passing that box several times i quickly took a peak to see what i was missing. Lifting the box top i inhaled the delectable mouthwatering aroma and that was the beginning of my addiction. Lol. Seriously, GM Bakery is the best I've ever had. Every item my coworker has brought in has been fresh and delicious. Absolutely amazing. They sell donuts, pastries, pies, cookies, cakes, brownies, bagels, bread , etc. You can order large cakes for special occasions such as birthdays and weddings. Even the gluten free items taste the same as the regular items. Grab a cup of coffee to go. I plan on dropping by for a chocolate cake on my way to a party in a few weeks.
