The name really suits the place. My boyfriend and I were in the area so we stopped in and were blown away. This is one of the best coffee shops I've ever been to. Very quant, homey vibe. The owner was extremely friendly and personable. We were overwhelmed by all the options. We shared a cannoli lobster tail. The presentation was nice, I didn't expect to get it on a plate with all the fixings. It tasted out of this world. I was intrigued by their cookie butter lattes. great little coffee shop located right by the train station in speonk. good strong coffee, non dairy options and plenty of other cold drinks for non coffee drinkers (kombucha, juice, Celsius). They've got some pretty epic cookies and baked goods from an Italian bakery in the city. Pignole cookies are a delight and remind me of my childhood, but my kiddo's fave has got to be the lobster cookie wrapped in a fun newspaper print like when you order fish and chips! They have an absolutely astounding selection of fancy chocolate, including every single Compartes bar in existence and our favorite Rye bread bar from Pump street. The owner is super nice and chatty and will offer you a chocolate sample or extra shot or pastry nibbles for your kiddo. This is an excellent coffee place and they have one of the largest selections of premium chocolate from around the world that I have ever seen. In terms of coffee, they have a variety of espresso drinks. They don't have drip coffee so they need a couple of minutes to make drinks. All plant based milks (except coconut) are available for no extra charge! They also have tea and a fridge full of cold drinks. Their baked goods are delicious; I particularly recommend the muffins. Thier selection of chocolates from around the world is impressive. There's something for everyone! On Sundays they have live music. There is plenty of seating. The service is friendly and helpful. I cannot stand oat milk and got a latte that I was not expecting and found undrinkable considering I did not see any signage or was asked or told that they do this, when the norm is cows milk. What an awesome place! I've been out here for 10 years and this is the first coffee shop I've actually liked enough to make myself a regular at! Evan, who runs the shop, is an awesome guy. Super kind and often throws in a free treat or a shot of espresso! Also the first time I was there he let me borrow an old 1989 Encyclopedia for some train ride trivia, who else would loan out a collectors book like that?? As for the goods, The coffee is great and all the chocolates are delicious (tried a California dark with pretzels today, and a Madagascar dark as well, part of the 3500(!!) bars that came in last week :). A cappuccino, Rainbow Cookie, and some chocolate covered almonds are my go to orders, and the croissants, almond cakes, and every pastry I've tried have been perfect! On Passover they even had matzoh Brei muffins for the holiday, which was lovely! Definitely swing by, try everything you can, and if you're brave challenge someone to tic tac toe on the little game board that's in there!
