Where's the closest Starbucks? Not really close at all, and that's fine. The place itself is small, perhaps even miniature, with just two tables and a small bar with a few seats. Don't come expecting to plug in for extended periods of focused novel writing, though who knows, you could get lucky. My repeated purchases of hot coffee were smooth and strong, and the raisin/pecan scone (had it on our first visit) was excellent. Locally roasted and I presume locally baked, I'd say work you way down the line of baked goods and lengthy coffee menu. I don't really know what happens when it gets busy, I would say a good rule of thumb would be if there is a line out the door, it's pretty busy. Grain of salt: It would only take ~4 people for the line to be going out the door. Watch out where you park, the very sternly signed parking lot is pretty specific which spots are for which of the two businesses. I'm not sure who is watching, but given it's Westhampton, someone probably is. Spring and summer weekends will start and end with a vat from Hampton Coffee Company, and knowing me, i'll probably go there every morning in between. read more

Awful customer service. They need adults and a grown up manager. They can't handle more than 5 customers. If you want to wait 25 min in chaos for mediocre coffee, to then be told they forgot to make it and need to put your order in the back of the line, come on by. Tasty but very sweet summer drink. The cashier was unfriendly to my party. He asked "Hi, how are you?" so I happily responded "Hi, I'm good, how are you?" He stared at me in silence and didn't respond. When I ordered, he didn't ask if I wanted my drink hot or cold, nor what milk I wanted, and assumed I wanted a large (this is probably because it was a specialty drink, unsure). 2 of our drinks were ready before a guy who was there first, who just ordered a latte (we ordered more complex drinks). I love the Aquebogue (Riverhead) location. I live on the north shore and its the place I most frequent. I found myself on the south shore and I figured let me hit up the Hamptons Coffee Company in Westhampton. With all Hamptons Coffee Company locations, the coffee they serve is all locally roasted. When you go to a chain to buy coffee, its in a vacuumed sealed bag. This is so not the case with Hampton Coffee Company. HCC buys funky coffee beans from around the global. Then the HCC roast master will roasts the coffee beans by hand in small batches. This allows each coffee bean to raise its own unique flavor characteristics. It's this process which will give the coffee a more concentrated flavor and aroma. With me so far? Just know the end result is a dynamite cuppa Joe and its all happening on Long Island. I parked in the lot, the Westhampton location isn't a large store. You won't be sitting with your laptop plugged in for hours at a time getting refills. Fix your coffee and GTHO. I did notice on the board they could make an Italian Soda with the almond syrup but I passed and ordered a cappuccino. The end result is a nice coffee blend that's not too bitter. And the baked goods! HCC always offers local pastry and baked goods on the east end. Their scones are killer! Since it was the afternoon, I chose a small linzer tart. Perfecto! Just the right size for a small afternoon treat. HCC, first time here and I love your coffee from Riverhead to Westhampton. Keep roasting! read more

I always stop by their West Hampton location after a day at the beach and get a couple snacks. I don't drink coffee myself, but my brother always gets a cup and he says it's pretty good. It kinda sucks that whenever I go however, near the end of the day (7:45), their snacks are mostly gone, but I don't blame them as it's the end of th. I do wish they still had a certain desert they had last year, I believe it was a chocolate raspberry crumb cake or something along those lines. I buy all my coffee from here, year-round resident. Always have nice customer service. I just have to say today, during Christmas week , I usually buy $200 worth of gift cards. I chose the cards I wanted, and asked for the envelopes They informed me that there were "no envelopes for the gift cards ". So- I would need to "go and purchase cards with envelopes at the local card store." ?? if you sell gift cards, you should make sure that you have envelopes for them. Love HCC!! The specialty coffees are always made so carefully. The regular roasts are also good too. I love getting their dirty chai. It's such a treat. They also have great egg and panini options for when I forget lunch. It's also wonderful they carry Hale and hearty soups. Their section of soups is changing so call before to see what's available, but they never disappoint! read more

I love the coffee but do not like the new app. Hampton Coffee charges you a service fee for the privilege of using the app to place your order. The old app was very functional especially during Covid to place your order on the app, then run in to pick it up and go. The new app charges me usually around an additional $2.00 before tip just to use the app. It seems like Hampton Coffee would want just a faster turn around and more efficient service. The coffee is expensive to start with, so I am back to waiting in line and will only be getting a coffee when I have time to wait in line. read more

Baked items are better than their drinks. Also, this location is extremely small and cramped so best to do take out even though they do offer wifi.
