3 Star experience but the only Smoothie/ Acai in town! Hence the 4 stars. Need to have a place like this here - Nice WHB Village location, somewhat new shopping strip.. polite staff - fresh ingredients- But this store always has me thinking - please bring a Tropical Smoothie Cafe here. The two Green smoothies were cloyingly sweet with an odd sweetness. The Acai bowls very fresh one time, way too skimpy on berries. Didnt feel it was a reasonable value. ($49) Next time not - the Acai actually smelled/ tasted off- not sure how long they keep and if from a big pail - so it's hit or miss here. Twice last week they closed just before 6. We could use a more generous store in terms of time opened, fruit toppings and especially to care to ask if sugar substitute is wanted. Green drinks tasted wat too odd from Agave syrup - They use processed Agave syrup- be careful if not wanted- let them know. Best bets here are green drinks without added sugars. They are good and it's nice to have them here. read more

I've gone into the CVS next door to this acai bowl spot plenty of times and have always meant to stop in here. I finally gave it a go during my last CVS run and was pleasantly surprised. The spot is very clean and spacious. There was no one there when I went in on a weekday morning, so I figured things would move quickly here. I ordered two different types of bowls, one that had a mango flavored base and the other that was a "green" bowl with spinach mixed into the frozen base of the bowl. The wait for both of these bowls took some time, which was surprising since there were two people working here and no one else inside the establishment besides me. After a bit of a wait I grabbed my bowls to go. Both were well made with plenty of toppings, so even though the price tag was steep (around $15 for a regular sized bowl), I felt like I got my money's worth. Sobol is my go to place for Açaí bowls. I frequently purchase from the Oyster Bay and East Meadow locations. Those stores are always very clean and the fruit is perfectly ripe. So, during my staycation in Westhampton I looked them up to grab breakfast. Unfortunately this location was a bit disappointing. Just as a prior review mentioned, at 9:30 in the morning the counter wasn't clean and there was paper on the floor. The young employees seemed a bit lax behind the counter yet they were friendly. Most importantly, the açaí bowl was not up to par. The portion was less than I usually receive at other locations and the fruit was very overripe . I hope this was just a bad day for them. read more

An average açaí bowl place. Okay options for açaí bowls but nothing else. Could definitely improve upon its options in the number of choices as well as the uniqueness and specialty of them as well. I am a frequent customer at SoBol and have been for a little over a year. The staff is very kind and know me and my family pretty well since we come in so much. The bowls are always good and I always recommend it to people when they ask where to get a good breakfast or lunch. However, I often order my food with some modifications such as a change in the toppings, mainly removal of the honey and coconut and addition of different fruits. Sometimes my requests are perfectly listened to and the bowl is the correct size that I ordered, but most of the time I end up getting my bowl with something that I didn't order or in a huge container. I understand that when working in the food industry it is important to always treat regulars well and to sometimes give a little extra, however it doesn't work with my dietary restrictions. Additionally, I often get toppings I did not ask for even after making sure to specify. I understand it can be annoying when a customer has man changes to an order, as I have worked in the food industry myself, but it is important to me that my food is made how I want it to be. I love the staff and the food itself, but it is important that I receive my food the way I ordered it. read more
