I stopped by One Trick Pony for a much needed iced coffee after a warm Pilates class nearby, and it hit the spot. The service was fast, friendly, and courteous, even on a busy Sunday morning. The café had a lively atmosphere, and it's easy to see why it's so popular. I've heard they offer an oyster happy hour during the summer, which sounds like a great excuse for a return visit. I'll have to come back and see if the rumors are true! A great spot for a coffee break, and I'm looking forward to trying more of what they have to offer. read more

Came here for a post Pilates meal and One Trick Pony did not disappoint! When you walk in, they hand you a menu and you order and pay at the counter before sitting. We sat outside and the weather was perfect! Portions were huge and I got the avocado toast. Only two minor complaints: I wish the avocado toast had more of a spicy kick and was less lemony (still very good tho), and I wish the establishment served liquor a little earlier than 530pm. It was 1:30, so a mimosa would have been a perfect compliment! read more

Drinks are good! But baristas should be required to wear their hair up and back, I've had hair in my drink 2 separate times and it was the same barista making it with her hair down both times. I love it here so I will continue coming back but it is definitely gross when you get hair in your drink let alone once but twice. read more

I ordered two s'mores lattes, which are specialty lattes. The employee didn't want to make more cold foam so they used the leftover from the drink before and put a small dot on each coffee. I normally wouldn't care, however, seeing what the drink is supposed to come with and what I spent, the employees should make every drink the same way. It's in a great location with a lot of indoor and outdoor seating, however, I wouldn't recommend it because of the unfriendly employees and inconsistent drinks with high prices. read more

Cute spot but you upsold me on my $8 flavored latte w oat milk but never said there was an up charge. I then bought a small cookie and paid by CC. Bing bang boom, $15 after tax for an iced coffee and small sugar cookie. Was delish and fun hanging outside but I don't have Hampton $ and that was kind of steep. I'd heard a lot about this cafe by day, cocktail by night spot in Westhampton, so I decided to finally try it out after taking a yoga class nearby. It was still fairly busy at 11 am on a weekday, but despite the rush the line moved quickly and I was able to place my order within minutes. The menu here had a bunch of interesting options including a Matcha/Lemonade mix that I toyed with ordering, but opted for a cold brew instead. I was also hungry and decided to get the chicken salad sandwich as well. The ambiance here is welcoming though it does feel a little high end. My wait for the coffee and sandwich was surprisingly short given the rush. Cold brew was strong and cold, and the chicken sandwich though simple (and pricey) was surprisingly delicious. Most of the chicken salad I've experienced out here is very mayo forward, this one had a mix of almonds and lemon added in which made it refreshing and added to the texture. The prices are giving...Hamptons. But that's par for the course. read more

This place summed up in one sentence: A hipster joint in Westhampton without all that hipster accessorizing going on (chef didn't have tattoos!); this spot got a whole lotta potential to be THE TITS that's for sure. I can see an evening wine bar vibe with a dj playing some tropical house spreading love all around with ppl munching on some finger foods and simple bites (they got a small grill) ...or we can turn this into a beer and wine spot with Tulum vibes minus all the ppl huddled around the DJ wanting to be in the Boiler Room video kinda vibe, wearing their bohemian garb being the premiere pre-game spot before the big party , invite only (bring a sexy friend) and just talking non stop about how this DJ should have been at Skyler's "I just got a huge inheritance" party . But let's get to the food and service shall we? Coffees and drinks are all standard, would rather give them my money than StarBust. The sandwiches were on point , abit pricey though but it makes sense cuz the rent there is gonna be pricey as well. They got the volume coming in but with that small grill pushing limited sandwiches expect a 15-20 minute wait (it's worth the wait, just chill at the bar-type seating and check out the attractive crowd) And if you ARE looking for a DJ, I can spin those boiler room vibes, and bring out the Bohemia in westhampton's finest. 10/10 across the board. Service was flawless, food quality was unreal. The peppermint mocha was chef's kiss--picture perfect and the absolute dream combo of coffee and chocolate. The food looked straight out of a food magazine. The avocado toast was STACKED, and the burrito was so massive it could feed an entire village (possibly two). What was once a cute, cozy cafe w/the most beautiful aesthetic has transformed into a literal zoo, with impatient customers grumbling in a long line and literally nowhere to sit :( I politely asked two people at the bar if I could sit at the only available stool and neither budged! A woman to the left of the open seat was working on a laptop and had a suitcase of a bag taking up the seat beside her. The man was also plugged into a laptop and was editing a video. Apparently this is now a place to work, instead of a place to socialize or read a book. Even the entire window area was occupied by small children, coaches, and a screaming baby. It's a very small cafe that's just not set up for kiddos. With the average food item costing $16 or more, counter service should be reserved for paying customers dining in. Period. Hogging table space and stools for suitcases, toys, and coaches, while people are standing outside in the cold is ridiculous. It feels like a management issue that needs to be addressed. read more

But you cannot call yourself a coffee shop when the baristas don't know the basics of making a latte. My favorite coffee spot in Westhampton Beach. I am always greeted with a warm smile and a hello, and the coffee is the best in town. Being a regular, it helps that the baristas know exactly how I want my coffee at this point. On the rare occasion when my food came out wrong, apologies were sincere and mistakes rectified. For those who are turned off by the crowds my suggestion is to try going at an off peak hour and give them another chance. read more

I was recently in town chaperoning my 13 yr old on a "date" during a beautiful Sunday afternoon at the art show and needed a place to kill some time. With my little one in tow, I was planning on just grabbing a drink at Margarita Grill but as I walked east down Main St, saw One Trick Pony with it's beautiful awning and a few open outdoor tables and decided to give it a try. I just discovered this lovely place. I wanted to grab some lunch after a Pilates class and overheard someone talking about it. I ordered the vegetable wrap with hummus and feta. It was one of the tastiest wraps I've ever had. A few watermelon slices were added as a garnish, satisfied my sweet tooth! I decided to take something out as well and ordered the chicken salad sandwich. It was first rate, full of herbs and other wonderful ingredients. The servers were attentive and friendly and I enjoyed watching the cook prepare my food right in front of me. I know they use NofoRoco coffee which is god tier (iykyk) but I don't think these baristas are trained properly on how to pull an espresso shot, it's always terrible. Took out two wraps a couple of weeks ago. Very impressed with the quality even though it's not inexpensive. Today we stopped in for a quick bite and what was delicious two weeks ago was absolutely horrible. Hard to believe that they came from the same restaurant. This place has been open for a while now so I can only assume it might be a different chef preparing. I hope for their sake they are not this inconsistent.
