Found this culinary gem last year it never disappoints. Cocktails food and service are outstanding.

Base my reviews off what you pay: *Place was busy at 5:30 on a Friday, more crowded later. Price - ~$60 (appetizer, entree, 3 drinks, dessert, tip) Food - 4/5 - great tasting food. Service - 4/5 - friendly, good recommendations. Ambiance - 3/5 - fine vibe, nothing special. Overall - 3/5 - really great tasting food, was pleasantly surprised by it. Ate a multitude of things so far to say what was the best but the Short Rib Gnocchi was the most memorable. All great choices, can't go wrong. The place is very pretty. The Ivy Room is a bit dark, honestly fits the name perfectly, but I loved the bright bar area. We came during Restaurant Week, but unfortunately it ended at 7pm and our reservation was after that, which was disappointing. Since it was already late, we decided to stay and dine anyway. We started with the kale Caesar, which was very nice. The salmon came out piping hot, surprisingly impressive. The duck had good flavor but could've been a bit crispier. Came here after putting our names down for dinner at Brunetti's for a quick drink. Everywhere else was packed on the Sunday of 4th of July weekend, but we noticed a few open bar stools at Ivy on Main and made our way in. The bartender greeted us and was nice enough to ask two girls who had just walked in to move down a seat so that we could all sit together. I had my heart set on an Aperol spritz initially (basic, I know), but the strawberry cosmo made with fresh strawberry puree spoke to me, and was honestly the right choice. Not too sweet, not too sour, perfectly made. The price tag hurt but hey, it's the Hamptons. Our bartender was friendly and accommodating, we had a nice chat with her about an old school cocktail called an aviation. The person next to us ordered their linguini with local clams dish and it smelled fantastic. Will definitely be back to try out the food. read more

We waited 40 minutes for the food. They charge $10 just for four pieces of bread that every other Restaurant gives for free. I ordered a roasted chicken for $39 that wasn't roasted. It was pan seared and tough. The waitress could see the food was barely eaten, but she didn't comment. We found the restaurant to be overpriced with mediocre food at best. Place was really nice. The owner was very friendly. Server was very sweet and attentive. I forgot to take photos of our lunch but we had for starters the calamari and raw oysters which was really good. For entrees we had the fish sandwich that came with a lemon sauce that was REALLY good, my dad had the burger which he liked, my sister had the chicken sandwich which was flavorful and my mom had the salmon. She said the rice was spicy but it was really good. For alcoholic beverages I had the orange blossom and my dad had a rum and coke. 10/10 would def come back!! read more

Cozy, warm on a cold winter night! Greeted warmly by host and waiters. I ordered the spicy salmon tartare and the pork Milanese. My husband had the pear salad and the sausage rigatoni. A really great meal with wonderfully attentive and friendly service. Good wine selection. Has a tv in the corner for sports. A bit confusing because it looks and is a fine restaurant. Yet the tv gives a casualness that doesn't align with the environment and elevation of the food. However, it works! All in all it was excellent!!! read more

Ivy on Main of Westhampton is one of the better restaurants in the Village. The restaurant has a very nice interior, and the staff is extremely friendly, providing great service. The food is absolutely delicious - my wife had the Beet Salad, while I enjoyed the French Onion Gnocchi. The portions are decent and filling. I'd recommend trying the Meatball Appetizers. Ivy on Main offers both outdoor and indoor dining, with a nice-sized bar in the rear of the restaurant. During peak season, it can get quite busy, so it's best to make a reservation well in advance. read more

My main gripe with this place is the lack of professional service. Went for dinner last night with a friend, thought we try this place. Started with the arugula strawberry salad. we told our server we'd be splitting it, instead of splitting it in the kitchen they bring it out in an oversized bowl and tell us to use our oversized bread plates to split the salad. Now this is a table for two, not very large we had ordered bread which they brought out in an oversized plate that took up a large portion of the table space. I asked what dressing do you have, the waitress wasn't sure a supervisor came over and rudely said "there on the menu" when i asked where, each salad had its own dressing. I ordered the pistachio dressing, they brought out a small bowl of crushed pistachios by mistake. Now the entrees, we had the bolognese , it was bland and without much taste, i had the flat-iron streak with fingerling potatoes. The steak was cooked perfectly, the only thing i didn't care for was that it was sitting in olive oil. I could give other examples of service problems, but it would sound like I'm knit picking, all i can say when i go out for a nice meal i like professional service and this place doesn't have it. So I only review restaurants that are really bad or really good! We came for dinner Saturday night with my whole crew (8 of us). Manager gave us a great table and we sat down. Almost immediately the waitress came over and took our drink order! I had a Vesper (if you don't know what that is watch Casino Royale). which was perfect. Other drinks were also great! We ordered appetizers to fill the table also excellent! I had monk fish, 2 people had duck n two people had salmon. Just perfect! Ivy On Main is a great addition to the Westhampton Beach dining scene. The space and staff were lovely. Cocktails were really good. The appetizers ranged from excellent crab tostadas to good Kung Pao cauliflower to unremarkable garlic chili shrimp. This is the rare restaurant where the entrees are better than the appetizers. The soft shell crab special was one of the best versions that my friend has had in a while. The Berkshire pork chop Milanese was also excellent- cooked perfectly and enough for two people to split. My wife loved her salmon. My buddy found the linguine with clam sauce to be too garlicky, but he doesn't love heavily seasoned food. The prices are fair and the menu is a great change of pace from the other restaurants in town. It's definitely worth a visit. read more

Such a nice impromptu lunch at Ivy! Walking around town after visiting the farmers market, we noticed live music across the street and Ivy had some open outdoor tables we could sit and hear the music. The hostess was so friendly and welcoming, and sat us at an outside table of our choosing. Waiter was equally lovely - super friendly and sociable but not overbearing and allowed us to sit and chat without being all over the table. I had a refreshing and well-made aperol spritz from the bar, and the food was great. Roasted beet salad is amazing and not crowded with tons of lettuce to fill the bowl. It's a perfect portion of beets and grilled fruit with grains on a delicious smear of goat cheese. The fried fish sandwich was equally great, porgy is thin and gets nice and crispy - such a good choice of fish to use for a sandwich. Fries are delicious as well! Came here for a private party. Food was delicious, especially the lamb chops (if you like them rare of course) but I found a lot of the portion sizes were rather petite and was looking for the next round to come by sooner rather than later. The two ladies behind the bar though really deserve a kudos though. On top of attentive service, they make a perfectly crafted cocktail, both complicated and simple. Decor is very of the area, a little bit posh but also still a little bit from a bygone era. Should I find myself in the Hamptons again, I'd be eager to give this place a real sit down try as well. read more

Solid showing by 2022's newest spot on Main Street. Arugula salad was straightforward but good. Jane's Chicken was excellent, well seasoned with a lovely risotto and snap peas. Burger was executed well -- thick and juicy. Drinks were good but not overpowering. Will be back. read more

Since our first visit we have returned twice in a three week period. The only thing as good as the food is the service. I have had three outstanding entrees: Pork Milanese- crispy pounded pork chop on the bone fried to perfection topped with an arugula salad, Red Snapper - a moist sautéed fillet on a bed of rice (may have been pilaf), and Duck Breast - cooked to perfection and I am a duck lover who has had it at least 500 times and this was among the best, also on rice pilaf. The peach and arugula salad alone was worth the trip. There are two dining areas decorated very differently, one dark green and one much brighter lightly colored and an outdoor patio. We prefer the dark green setting in the evening, but would probably prefer the lighter setting for a lunch meal. I hope I don't screw up our server's name, but I believe it was Devon, and she was marvelous. We liked her so much that we would like to have her be our server every time. Huge disappointment! As return customers we never expected this lovely restaurant to overcharge us so much that we will probably never go back. Burgers were good but the salads for the ladies...wow! Not just eye candy...vibe candy! The staff, the food, the service and the overall experience was spectacular. My family and I joined our friends that are 'regulars' here this evening after the beach. The staff was very accommodating to our children and made sure to treat them like guests as well. We ordered some of their handcrafted cocktails and everyone loved them. Personally, I got the 'verde' drink- and it was so seductively spicy I had to order another later in the meal. Also, important to note it was green like a WHB green juice. Fun! My husband said the old fashioned was perfection. We took a family style approach to dinner and ordered everything and tasted everything... Truly, I did not have one item that wasn't fantastic- but I will share the standouts. -the Italian salad was so light, and fresh and had the right amount of everything -the mussels were so different- not your usual red sauce/ white sauce- it was a wonderful sensory and aromatic tasting mussel bowl/ (would come back just for this)- also, important to note, not one bad mussel or unopened shell -the meatballs may look small, but they are mightily delicious and deceiving fulfilling- the perfect amount Now for dinner.....again, all of it was fabulous- the two standouts were: -The breaded chicken dish on the menu...INCREDIBLE! And a nice portion. It was so lightly fried it hardly tasted fried -now, I'm fully aware I'm going out on a limb here...but I'm confident that this gnocchi was the best gnocchi I've ever had. I've traveled to Italy several times, and THIS GNOCCHI was the best. They were skillfully seared and had a beautiful taste. BRAVO! What a great location in Westhampton. This was a must try for us for a while. My (adult) daughter and I had a night out together and really looked forward to trying Ivy. With reservations, we were seated promptly. After just a bit, we gave our drink order. We'd just had a minute to look over the menu, but had decided on an app as well. So we offered that, thinking it would be helpful. We were told we needed to order our meal as well. I ordered the Summer Gnocci, after a Quick Look. My daughter was stumped but went with the Linguini and clams. All seemed great, til we heard the waitress at the next table explain all the specials of the night, Nothing we were told about. Hmmm. The other waitress was patient and helpful, not cold and staring. It was a table of 4, not 2. Does that make a difference? Does it matter if you are a couple or 2 women? Who knows? My point is we felt rushed and were ultimately in and out before the tables around us. There are too many other choices in the area for us to return. Oh, and the food was average. Our first visit & it was wonderful! We're always a bit cautious when trying a Hamptons restaurant for the first time but our concerns were quickly put to bed. The restaurant is beautiful and clean. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess and our server was down to earth & professional. The menu & specials were exciting because the offerings were distinct & pleasantly unusual from the norm. I was pleased that the bar actually had cocktail onions so that I could get a Gibson Martini & they had my favorite Gin (Botanist)! We had the lamb belly and the spring Italian salad to start, both really good! The carrot purée with the lamb was outstanding! We then had the pan roasted scallops @ the big eye tuna for our main courses. Again, both dishes were delicious and nicely presented. For dessert, we had the flourless chocolate cake & the crème brûlée - the crème brûlée was not fully set unfortunately.
