Fresh tasty bagels!! We got the bacon egg and cheese bagel (yes this is a bagel itself and not a sandwich) and the onion bagel. I love how their flavored bagels are flavored from both sides, not just the top. This place probably has the best lox spread I've ever had. It has CHUNKS of lox in there, not just little bits. They also don't skimp on the cream cheese which I love. We bought a half dozen to being back to Boston with us! read more

Absolutely abysmal service, crew was in a rush to close (at 12pm, which is a rather early time for a bagel shop in the middle of Long Island to close.) Misplaced my order, gave me an attitude when I asked where my sandwich was and proceeded to make the wrong order. Highly recommend avoiding this dump. read more

This place sucks! Lazy employees. Dirty store. Absolutely Showing signs of decline. Bare minimum effort on everyone's part. Don't bother calling because they don't answer. This place is a bad joke run by clowns. empty showcases and shelves. Deli meat is old and slimy. Roaches prices are absolutely exorbitant! read more

food was really good but definitely order ahead on the phone. waited 25 mins atleast in there for 2 egg sandwiches. bagels were really fresh just could be more professional but i'll call in next time read more

Calling ahead always is best way they're always packed to the brim. Food is excellent bagels are made old fashioned way. Worth the wait and price. read more

Very busy but staff and the way the egg sandwiches were made was terrible. I think it's new owners and very young staff busy taking to each other, will not go there again. read more

3 21 2025 6 out of 12 bagel were day old and stale would not recommend, seemed good when they first opened but sadly have gone downhill

I don't really remember this place because I haven't been there in a few years but I do remember they have good bagels and it was a nice little bagel shop 5 stars. read more

Horrible stale, hard bagels! Brought home a dozen for the family and they went right in the trash. Would give zero stars if I could.

I don't know why we keep giving them chance after chance. Today we ordered 2 rolls with bacon and butter, 2 rolls with just butter, and 2 small orange juices. This came to 28.00 and change, and they literally put 2 small pieces of bacon on the rolls.. I will be going to Bagel Cafe in the Kohl's shopping center from now on! read more

Dramatic employees. All argue with each other on who has to help next customer. They won't have to argue about me again, never going back. Food is not worth it. read more

I order from freshy fresh once a week. Coming from a customer service worker myself I've never encountered so many mistakes in my life. Every single time I order an egg sandwich from here it's always wrong. Missing something, ingredients added when it's not asked such as ketchup. I usually don't complain but it's starting to become very annoying paying for something and it's never right. I don't get how hard it is to give someone the correct food that they have asked for. It's an egg sandwich. It's not a hard thing to make. I get mistakes happen, but every week? I worked for freshy fresh back in the day when it used to be good, I'm not sure what has happened in between. read more

If you want a bagel.... A real bagel. This is the only place to go. I was in the bagel business years ago. A true bagel is made by putting the raw bagel into boiling water (a kettle), then they are removed from the water with their yeast activated and get cooked in an oven with rotating shelves. It makes the perfect bagel. Most places use fast acting yeast and the bagels tend to lose their hole and become overblown and taste chewy like gum. Nobody wants bubblegum bagels but some of you may not know what a real bagel and much better product tastes like. If you want to know what a bagel, a great bagel, tastes like, go to Freshy Fresh Bagels. I have never had a bad bagel there, eat and enjoy, it may be one of the last real bagel stores left on Long Island. read more

I only go here for my creamer that is difficult to find .. while I was in there this morning the guy working in the back handling food had no mask on .. (WTF).. place was not busy at all.. when I want a good bagel I go to Strathmoee Bagel .. read more

Who thefuck eats bagels like this? These dumb asses need to be TOLD to heat the bagels up.. crazy. And look at how much butter they put on this shit like really wtf is wrong with people. It's ice cold. I went home just to throw half that butter out and heat it myself read more

My sandwich was amazing. The bagel was fresh, egg was well done and perfect amount of cheese. They even accompany your sandwich with a mini OJ. I was also impressed with their coffee it was very good and fresh. I recommend this plan and will return. Thank you for an amazing sandwich it hit the spot read more

Went in this morning for 1/4 lb chicken salad. There was no line and the lady literally used her hand to scoop the chicken salad and shoved it into the container. On top of it they're charging $20 for a lb of chicken salad? Won't be returning read more

Love their bagels. Nothing like a hot fresh bagel to start your day! Their French Toast bagel is my kids favorite one. Support your local business! read more

Came to get breakfast and was so dissatisfied with the service I received. Not one person looked up to acknowledge I was there... I was the only person at the counter and no one bothered to look my way ‍... they finally noticed me and I asked for a breakfast sandwich on a bagel and when I got it... the bagel was cold.... it's a hot sandwich ‍... how do you not heat up the bread .... at least have the curtesy to ask if I would like it toasted... trust me... no one has ever complained about good costumer service! You are a small business that carelessly slaps an egg on a cold bagel... why on earth would I want to come back to your unwelcoming space... Fastest way to lose traffic. If you would improve your guest service, maybe your staff would at least smile once in a while. read more

Kitchen service is horrible. 30 minutes for 3 egg sandwiches, order got split so first sandwich was complete 10 minutes before the other two. Counter staff was confused and more concerned about blaming kitchen than fixing the problems. To top it all off - sandwich was poor. Cheese was thrown on top, not melted, eggs were over cooked and bagel was dry. Only reason I make the trip is for the traditional bagels (boiled first) but the place is a total cluster. Not worth the trip. read more

Every time I go to Freshy Fresh the line is so long and I have to wait 20+ minutes to get a bagel. Even when I call in an order I wait 15 minutes on the phone to place the order. You need to invest in more staff. The last 3 times I entered the building I walked back out. I can't continue waiting. read more

used to be my favorite breakfast sandwich place, but today as i went in and ordered my food, i watched a man walk in before me with no mask, stand around myself and other customers and place his order. he must of been a regular because the workers were joking around with him as they pulled down their masks too. going into a place that the workers are handling food and they have their masks down during a time like this is disgusting. read more

Awesome. They offer a half a dozen of bagels after 3PM for $1.99. What? That is dang sweet! Even better, apparently (according to the back staff) there are no dairy ingredients in the bagels. Hello, vegan bagels.. I wuv you ;* Oh, not to mention.. they have an array of choices in bagels. French toast, garlic, blueberry, SPINACH? and on and on... I had a spinach one. It was green, but not very spinachy in taste. But, that french toast bagel is a different story... nom :} read more

With the lack of options in the morning. This actually looks promising. So I did a U-Turn. It was a very nice place. Bagels were on the small side. Nothing better than a Big ass bagel to start your day. I also ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese on a roll. Not to bad. Good amount of drinks. Bagels were very tasty. I would come back for breakfast. I am usually back in this area for my weekly fishing. read more

These are the best bagels around, along with Goldberg's in Patchogue. Freshy Fresh really does make their bagels the old fashioned way as advertised! There's nothing doughy about these bagels! Like authentic ones you can pretty much only find in NYC, they are boiled and are crunchy and chewy, your jaw is tired after eating them! I especially love the everythings; a toaster would be an insult to these beauties! Their cream cheese also tastes fresh every time, and they don't put too much or too little on! Sure, sometimes I'll get everything with scallion cream cheese and I have delightful breath, but definitely worth it! It's a little awkwardly placed, but don't let that drive you away! read more

A real class act. Freshy Fresh looks like a bagel shop that belongs in the Hamptons, not Shirley. All around good breakfast items. The staff is attentive and friendly ( not to mention most of the girls behind the counter are cute). Ive been a patron for about a month now...but I'm going to make it a point to stop more here on my way to work. read more

Best bagels in town! Good atmosphere if you stay. Fast, good service! Much easier to get in and out of then Strathmore. Update after seeing the one star by JD. I cant speak for egg sandwiches I go to delis for those. I am talking purely the bagel. I have sent a few people there that thanked me. City style often warm with a tad of crunch. Truly a great bagel. read more

They're unorganized with their orders. They need to get it together and get a better system going. We got into the habit of checking our orders in front of the cashier because we either get the wrong order or we don't get parts of our orders when we go home. I gave them two stars because their food isn't too bad otherwise they'd get one star. read more

Forget about this bagel store! Once again I have gone in there to try to buy bagels and they had none. It was 11:30 in the morning and they told me they were closing because they were out of bagels. When I go in at 10:30 they only have a handful left so apparently they're not baking enough to last the day. Maybe business is really off and they don't want to have leftovers. read more

For me, the best bagels around, hands down. Great quality. Cooked the right way!!!! Food is always fresh and made to order. Great coffee as well. Just wish they had better lids you could drink through, not the tops they have. Egg sandwiches are great too. Will continue to visit here. It is worth the drive! read more

I can only speak of the bagels. THEY ARE AWESOME. They are the classic new york style bagel. The way a bagel should be. The only reason I gave it 4 stars, and not 5, is because the service is a bit slow sometimes. They sometimes have young girls working the counter, and they are slow and not super friendly. But not terrible. Other than that, its a great place, with awesome bagels, and some tables to sit and enjoy your breakfast. read more

I gave this place many chances and maybe once in a blue moon I actually get a decent bagel. More times than I've got a good one, it's hard and literally should have been thrown out or given to a dog. Strathmores is right around the corner and I've never gotten a bad bagel from them one time. Be more caring about your customers than the dollar and throw the stale bagels from yesterday away. read more

out of twists 95% of the time and what I want & I stay away from high prices and paying 3.99% more for using my card

Given the name of the place, one would expect "freshy fresh" bagels, right? Nope. Easter morning, 7:30 am, ice cold... obviously thawing straight from the freezer. In my experience with other bagel stores this early in the day, the smell of the warm bagels wafts through my car, making them tough to resist on the ride home. Not here. The bagels I served my guests today for Easter brunch were stale, very dry, and cold... refrigerator cold. We threw them out. The nice girl that answered the phone didn't seem surprised when I told her. She asked me what time we were there, then apologized, and put the manager on the phone... a truly rude, unapologetic person who became belligerent when I told her our experience. I told her that her attitude was unprofessional and unexpected, and she said "bye" and hung up. Wowwww! read more

Yeah come to this place if you want to pay above market prices, get slow service, and a not so good sandwich. It appears that the staff here has no idea how to even make the things on their menu. 3 guys, 2 sandwiches and a bagel and they had 2 girls working on it... 20 minutes no exageration. They are sitting there looking at the menu to see what is on the sandwich, and were out of rolls. Unfortunately in that area there are not any good options to get something to eat, but this place sets a low mark with poor competition. Small sandwich and quik comes out to 10.50. No thanks! read more

I don't know what was going on this morning, but I do not plan on getting food at this location again. All I wanted was 2 egg sandwiches. There was no mention of a wait for sandwiches. I waited 20 minutes and then an additional 10 because they only made one sandwich not realizing I wanted the same one twice. Simple misunderstanding, but no apology and you would think my order would jump to the front but no, I still had to wait 10 minutes. I should have walked out but I felt as if I had vested too much time and I'm a nice guy who felt the sandwiches would go to waste. Ohh, and there was no apology when I was finally rung up either. I work in retail and the first thing you teach is set the expectation with all clients while apologizing and empathizing when appropriate. Go above and beyond otherwise next time that customer will go somewhere else and I will. read more

Horrible service!! I called in my order of breakfast sandwiches, at the end of me placing it they told me they didnt have anymore of the bagel i wanted.
