These people do not know how to make anything but fried and scrambled eggs. That's if they even remember to put eggs on your sandwich. Twice I got home and there were no eggs on my sandwich! I always ask for over east and always get fried burnt eggs. Their bacon is always nasty and old. You can tell they precook their bacon in big batches and leave it in a giant tub. Most of the time I get crumbles of burnt bacon which is completely inedible. There is a bit of a language barrier and they never admit to thier mistakes or offer to fix anything. The people who work here are very friendly. I've been here twice and only on Sunday mornings on my way to the beach, and both times there was a pretty long line of customers. The staff do a great job of getting through everyone regardless. The food has been great both times I've visited - we've gotten bagels, breakfast platters and heros, all of which were very good. The reason I removed a star is because the wait time is a good bit longer than other bagel spots/delis I've been to if you get anything other than a bagel, sandwich or ready made salads (like egg or pasta salad for example). We ordered breakfast platters and it took about 20 minutes for us to get our order. I also really wish there were low sugar options for drinks besides water - the Gatorades and Vitamin Waters they carry, for example, are only the full sugar varieties. Makes it a little difficult for people like me who follow a low carb diet. read more

I enjoy their food usually and the staff is friendly but 100% of the time at least 2 things are either wrong or missing from my order. This is about 10 times in a row now, I have let management know many times and they do not fix whatever the problem is, maybe the staff is not trained well or they don't care, I am not sure. I am probably owed about $50 at this point from them for wrong or even completely missing items. Meanwhile my wife told him that we ruined 4 bagels with it and didn't even offer to replace the 4 bagels. Very inconsiderate. And how do you give bad cream cheese on a Saturday morning? I would give 0 stars if possible. I went in and ordered a spinach and mozzarella omlet, well done bacon, and a toasted bagel with butter. I received a not toasted bagel, an omlet with no spinach with the cheese not even melted, and my bacon was practically raw. I called to complain and ask for my money back and was told I should've checked my order before I left and REFUSED to give my money back. And to top it off the MANAGER hung up on me twice and proceeded to not answer any calls after. They have absolutely terrible customer service and I don't recommend going there at all. read more

Not much of a breakfast person but the food served at the newly opened "your bagel cafe" is amazing. Everything we've had here is fresh and filling. Today I had a veggie omelette and WOW.... loaded with spinach tomatoes mushrooms onions. Reasonable prices, clean restaurant and very friendly and fast service. I was so excited to hear my local shopping center was getting a bagel store! So, of course...I had to try when this place opened! Now, it's unfortunate because I've been here about 10 times since this place opened and I always have an issue. The service is slow as far as being convenient for work in the morning. They messed up one of my bagels total opposite of what I had ordered. I stood online for 15 once being unacknowledged. Even when I call to place an order to go...they tell me 5-10 min. I still wait 15 minutes for my take out when I get there!!! This place is a joke! Oh and not to mention...the owner parks his Beamer in the front parking lot spot! Food is great. Never had a problem with accuracy as others have said. Quick, friendly, and delicious.

Not once, not one single time has the location in Shirley gotten our entire order right. There is always something wrong with the simple order 100% of the time. They put an eye dropper of ketchup on the egg sandwiches, they NEVER give a juice, and even when you stand there and wait for them to fix the order it still comes back wrong. We make sure we speak slowly and clearly, they repeat the order back to us twice and Still it comes out wrong and someone is always disappointed. It was nice to see something in the neighborhood but I tried the place twice and notice both times the food servers using the same gloves to handle the food and the cash register transactions. I have come here multiple times. At first it was amazing. Unfortunately I've had 3 order mess ups in one day happen on three different occasions when the Turkish girl who barely speaks English messed up my order 3 times in one day. I planned on recommending this place to my many co workers at the Brookhaven National Lab, however I will not return and am telling them to order elsewhere until more English speaking people are hired like the Latino girl and the girl with the blonde and crazy colored hair who help multiple customers at once who seem to leave happy. When they assist me, my food has been amazing! This other girl is not good for your business.
