Well to be honest I love this place and they make the best bacon egg and cheese but today was different. A large man was just standing at the counter talking to the workers so I stood behind him. Well the owner assumed that another person was next , instead of asking who's next he assumed the person behind that guy was next. Well after complaining to him and he then told me I was standing in the wrong place , I suggested he ask "who's next" instead of assuming. I got upset and he basically told be it was my fault for not standing somewhere else. I got upset and he was arguing with me and then told me to "go fuck myself". No one talks to me that way when I spend $50 or more a week there. That man should be ashamed of himself. read more

I've been eating bagels for over 50 years, from Brooklyn to the end of Long Island. And I gotta say that not only were these the most boring, tasteless bagels I've ever had, even their cream cheese was boring and tasteless. I'll never see the inside of that place again. and I suggest you don't either. read more

Went on my lunch break and ordered a turkey sandwich. The service was outstanding; the girl who helped me was very nice and made my order perfect! Bacon was very crispy, which I like. I love potato salad and there's was good but needed a bit more punch or pizazz. Will come again! read more

I am Muslim and can't have pig bacon!! I Ordered a turkeybacon, egg and cheese bagel. So I ate the whole bagel and on the last bite, there was something crumbled up inside the turkey bacon. 1 egg 3 pieces of cheese hashbrown on a roll $12.22. insane price she laughed and said there is nothing she could do. For comparison a hungry man on a hero is 10 dollars. That's 3 eggs 4 slices of bacon cheese ham. Be careful what you order from this place I will never spend a dollar in there again go to freshly freshly bagels. You can get two sandwiches for 13 dollars. Just a heads up read more

We were so happy to see this place open up. The bagels, egg sandwiches and lunch sandwiches are all great. I'm knocking off a star because we've had our orders screwed up a few times. Get all the way home to find out you've been given the wrong food is enough to piss anyone off. The store is neat and clean inside and the staff is friendly. read more

These people do not know how to make anything but fried and scrambled eggs. That's if they even remember to put eggs on your sandwich. Twice I got home and there were no eggs on my sandwich! I always ask for over east and always get fried burnt eggs. Their bacon is always nasty and old. You can tell they precook their bacon in big batches and leave it in a giant tub. Most of the time I get crumbles of burnt bacon which is completely inedible. There is a bit of a language barrier and they never admit to thier mistakes or offer to fix anything. I am so done with them! read more

Really good looking and variety of freshly made bagels. Dropped in today because I had to use a bathroom so I got a couple of breakfast sandwiches. No problem whatsoever and very nice people behind the counter. Looks like a really clean and organized deli. Eggs were fine, a normal breakfast bagel and cream cheese on another was plentiful as well. Lots of customers inside. Would recommend. read more

The people who work here are very friendly. I've been here twice and only on Sunday mornings on my way to the beach, and both times there was a pretty long line of customers. The staff do a great job of getting through everyone regardless. The food has been great both times I've visited - we've gotten bagels, breakfast platters and heros, all of which were very good. The reason I removed a star is because the wait time is a good bit longer than other bagel spots/delis I've been to if you get anything other than a bagel, sandwich or ready made salads (like egg or pasta salad for example). We ordered breakfast platters and it took about 20 minutes for us to get our order. I also really wish there were low sugar options for drinks besides water - the Gatorades and Vitamin Waters they carry, for example, are only the full sugar varieties. Makes it a little difficult for people like me who follow a low carb diet. read more

for years went here. good new york bagels. never any sanitation issues. good tasting food from people who make em good!

We ordered 28 specific bagels and only received 14. When they brought the remaining 14 it was mostly salt and plain bagels when we wanted mostly egg everything. We place large orders the last Friday of every month for our office. We will be looking elsewhere for this order. read more

Came across this perfect bagel cafe while heading up to I95. Place is modern, clean and friendly. Service fast and personable. Really delicious bagel selection. Will definitely drop by again! read more

I enjoy their food usually and the staff is friendly but 100% of the time at least 2 things are either wrong or missing from my order. This is about 10 times in a row now, I have let management know many times and they do not fix whatever the problem is, maybe the staff is not trained well or they don't care, I am not sure. I am probably owed about $50 at this point from them for wrong or even completely missing items. I love supporting local businesses like this but I don't know if I want to continue to throw money away paying for food I do not get. read more

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE. Gave us spoiled cream cheese then asked my wife "what do you want me to do about it?" Meanwhile my wife told him that we ruined 4 bagels with it and didn't even offer to replace the 4 bagels. Very inconsiderate. And how do you give bad cream cheese on a Saturday morning? Must have been a slow week and they figured screw the customer, let's serve the bad stuff and make money, let them get sick rather than throw it out. This stuff clearly smelled like rotten fish. I will NEVER return to this establishment and recommend that you do not either! read more

When you love off the island you don't have a good bagel in sight. Coming back to LI this is where we get the real thing every time!

I would give 0 stars if possible. I went in and ordered a spinach and mozzarella omlet, well done bacon, and a toasted bagel with butter. I received a not toasted bagel, an omlet with no spinach with the cheese not even melted, and my bacon was practically raw. I called to complain and ask for my money back and was told I should've checked my order before I left and REFUSED to give my money back. And to top it off the MANAGER hung up on me twice and proceeded to not answer any calls after. They have absolutely terrible customer service and I don't recommend going there at all. read more

Not much of a breakfast person but the food served at the newly opened "your bagel cafe" is amazing. Everything we've had here is fresh and filling. Today I had a veggie omelette and WOW.... loaded with spinach tomatoes mushrooms onions. Reasonable prices, clean restaurant and very friendly and fast service. You can have breakfast and go all day until dinner!!! Give it a try. I'm sure you'll be satisfied. read more

You only have one chance to make a first impression. So here's my first impression. Was in the area this morning, stopped by with my daughter and picked up egg sandwiches. My daughter ate hers in the car. Get back home in Middle Island, and even though they wrote the order down, still got it wrong. Bacon, egg, cheese on a roll. Completely self-explanatory, yet they got it wrong. read more

I was so excited to hear my local shopping center was getting a bagel store! So, of course...I had to try when this place opened! Now, it's unfortunate because I've been here about 10 times since this place opened and I always have an issue. The service is slow as far as being convenient for work in the morning. They messed up one of my bagels total opposite of what I had ordered. I stood online for 15 once being unacknowledged. Even when I call to place an order to go...they tell me 5-10 min. I still wait 15 minutes for my take out when I get there!!! This place is a joke! Oh and not to mention...the owner parks his Beamer in the front parking lot spot! Today is my last day at this place!!!!! I'll stick the the bagel store next to my job!!! Byeeee #notmybagelcafe read more

Food is great. Never had a problem with accuracy as others have said. Quick, friendly, and delicious.

This place and their second location in south shirley are the only places that get my bagel right. Perfect amount of butter, not over done, not under done, and also they toast it perfectly. Never burnt, never underdone. Also staff is very nice. read more

Not once, not one single time has the location in Shirley gotten our entire order right. There is always something wrong with the simple order 100% of the time. They put an eye dropper of ketchup on the egg sandwiches, they NEVER give a juice, and even when you stand there and wait for them to fix the order it still comes back wrong. We make sure we speak slowly and clearly, they repeat the order back to us twice and Still it comes out wrong and someone is always disappointed. Bagels are decent, their egg game is severely lacking though :/ read more

It was nice to see something in the neighborhood but I tried the place twice and notice both times the food servers using the same gloves to handle the food and the cash register transactions. After I just throw my bagel out couldn't eat it..Money, credit cards are some of the dirtiest things in the world so why would you handle money and then fix and serve the food using the same gloves? Sorry not trying to get sick..no thank you...normally I don't leave comments but this calls for one..I will not be going back there ever read more

I had breakfast there this morning. We ordered two egg sandwiches and an everything bagel with Liz cream cheese. The bagel was VERY good. They didn't over do it on the cream cheese either. They do not listen to you when you order your food. Second time now I ordered just a simple bacon egg and cheese and left to only find out it was a completely different sandwich. I'd rather not waste food and money and go elsewhere read more

I have come here multiple times. At first it was amazing. Unfortunately I've had 3 order mess ups in one day happen on three different occasions when the Turkish girl who barely speaks English messed up my order 3 times in one day. I planned on recommending this place to my many co workers at the Brookhaven National Lab, however I will not return and am telling them to order elsewhere until more English speaking people are hired like the Latino girl and the girl with the blonde and crazy colored hair who help multiple customers at once who seem to leave happy. When they assist me, my food has been amazing! This other girl is not good for your business. I feel that I need to learn another language other than our native language of English in order to get the correct order from her. read more
