OMG, REAL BUTTER..... Yes , I said it. It's true. Hard to find a bagel store that still uses REAL Butter. This bagel store is so friendly and welcoming and then to take a bit of my sandwich to find real butter was so unexpected. Affordable prices, clean and delicious. I will absolutely be stopping back here. read more

Went there for the first time and had an egg everything bagel it was fresh and delicious! One more customer to the list!

For a place that calls themselves " express" they never pick up the phone to take orders. If you're in a rush don't bother

I can't tell you how many bagel places I've been to where you need to repeat your order three times (I'm not sure what's so difficult about writing it down) and then they still serve you the wrong thing on a pre-frozen, stale, bagel. Luckily, Better on a Bagel is different. They have hot, fresh bagels and excellent, speedy service. They are fast even when there's a line. The workers are polite, and the owner does everything to make sure you're satisfied. Even when you have a difficult order, like my husband's sesame bagel with lox and a light layer of low fat vegetable cream cheese, tomato and pepper. Some workers even know the order from memory. It definitely is Better at Better on a Bagel. read more

This place is awesome. I love going there and being greeted by everyone! Customer service is outstanding. I've placed single orders and catering orders. I've never been disappointed. Food was great and timing was perfect. For me, it's down the street! I love walking there. read more

This place is pure awesome. Great service. Lively environment and more importantly great food.

Asked for lightly cooked bagels. Received over cooked bagels. Brought them back. The worker told me that most people like well-done bagels. There are 10 other bagels places I can go to nearby. I think I will. read more

They yell at customers inquiring about their order. There are plenty of bagel places on Long Island that value having customers.

This place is amazing! Always stocked with fresh bagels made daily, egg sandwiches that are so unbelievably good, I could eat them everyday and made to order! They do accept credit and debit cards and the people behind the counter are always so nice and friendly! Love their homemade salads as well! And the black and white cookies are PHENOMENAL read more

Place was recommended and I highly recommend this place. I hadn't been to NY in a few years and stopped by with my wife, daughter and son in-law and was very happy with the bagel egg sandwiches that we stopped by on our way home to get more egg bagel sandwiches and bagels to bring back to Texas. Great food and service! read more

It really is better on a bagel. I like coming here whenever I'm on Long Island. I recommend trying the egg everything bagel as a breakfast sandwich. Fast service too. read more

I've gone to several bagel places in the area and this place is by far the best. A good size bagel with just the right texture and density AND still only a dollar each! read more

Amazing!! The service was great. Even though they were very busy, they took to time to make sure our food was exactly what we wanted. They handle the pressure well! The food tasted so fresh. Would recommend to everyone in town! read more

Soft af yet crispy on the out side perfect little hole looks like no one's tarnesided them

Favorite bagel shop, hands down. I won't go anywhere else since discovering them a year ago. Really fresh, soft bagels. I often call ahead of time and no matter how busy, customer service has always been friendly! read more

Bagels were fresh in the afternoon. That's the only thing positive I can say. Perhaps the counter person was having a not - so - great day because I got a very negative vibe from him. I should probably give him some credit for saying "have a good day", but then it's discounted by the lack of any genuine meaning behind it The bagel was seriously lacking in the cream cheese department. With all of the other great choices in the area, I won't be going back. It's a cash - only business. They don't take credit or debit cards. Have no fear, they have an ATM in the store. In this day and age cash no longer rules. Just another store looking to keep profits up, taxes down, and rake in ATM fees. read more

Better On A Bagel Express - A splash of cream cheese - Bagels Near Me - Coram, New York

Food is very good, bagels are always fresh soft and warm when I order and they are never cheap with the butter or cream cheese. Highly recommend! read more

this place has the best bagels by far. not too dense and not too doughy! perfect balance!

I'm very picky about my eggs. I get 2 fried eggs (well done), bacon, salt and pepper on a flagel. And the eggs are always perfect. I'm an egg diva, will not eat my eggs if the yolk is even a little bit runny. So many times I get egg sandwiches other places and the eggs are runny, which makes the sandwich inedible for me. Here, it's always exactly the way I like it. I also like that they have flagels here as not every place does. Service is great every time I've been here. You can tell there are regulars that come in where the woman behind the counter knows their name and what they want. Will prob end up being a regular here myself. read more

Good bagels and breakfast options. Convenient location close to my apartment. In and out pretty quick.

Very attentive staff with a decent selection. Ordered a few bagel sandwiches and told them it was to stay but they wrapped them up - not a terrible crime but I hate when it sticks to the paper. Anyway - enjoyed fresh and soft bagels. Just not much taste to the actual bagel? Strange. Would go back. Not a bad spot. read more

I'm new to the area and was on the mission to find the perfect egg sandwich!! This place is great, soft bagels, very friendly staff & they make my sandwich perfectly, I like a toasted bagel with eggs over medium and it's always made the way I love it! So good! Will definitely be my go to bagel spot! read more

Absolutely excellent food. Bagels are fresh and delicious, they also have great sandwiches and breakfast food. A weekend fav for us to just order and pick up to enjoy at time. Prices are very fair. read more

I tried their everything bagel, everything egg bagel, and plain egg bagel with their vegetable cream cheese. I enjoyed all of them. Cash only policy is a bit annoying though. read more

Their bagels are great- obviously fresh. The breakfast sandwiches are delicious but a few times I didn't get what I ordered. They don't accept CC or debit cards which is pretty inconvenient as well. read more

I don't think I've had a softer, fresher bagel in my life!! Nice and clean inside, wide selection of bagels and muffins. Didn't look at the cream cheese, had an egg sandwich--which was great :D read more

Great morning spot. You need somewhere to hit up and help knock off that hangover, get your life and go here!

The bagels are okay, sometimes a little hard. The only good thing, and the reason I gave this place 3 stars, is when you ask for crispy bacon you actually get crispy bacon. All the workers move at the pace of snails. The place is cash only which is annoying, first time I went in I was lucky I still had some cash in my wallet. They don't open until 6 am which is later than most bagel places so I usually have to get a bagel elsewhere. read more

I called ahead for a dozen bagels and 1lb cream cheese and .5lb butter... i go up to get my order and they only have me .5lb of both which not a big deal , just added another half of cream cheese. The manager/owner walks over to the young ladies working ,telling them "everything needs to be weighed" "why wasn't this weighed" . One of the ladies then proceeded to scoop out cream cheese of both .5lb things of cream cheese making the container not full. The way he spoke to his employees was very rude and the contacts weren't even full i feel like i payed too much For not enough read more

Is this really a bagel joint? The bagels taste like your average deli roll. I always get an everything bagel when I go to a bagel place and most places put tons of seeds on them. This place needs to step it up. There's about half the amount of seeds here. I was so excited that they were close by but if you love a good bagel, skip this place. Also, if you get there an hour before they close, it's kind of a guarantee that they'll be out of almost every flavor, except the ones no one generally orders. read more

Fresh, delicious bagels. They only take cash, but I can't blame them, the fees credit card companies charge, plus the per swipe charge is insane, especially when a bagel and coffee is under 5 bucks. read more

Decent food, rude owner. One time I went in an hour before they were supposed to close and was talked to like I was stupid for even attempting to order. If you close at a certain time why should I assume you close an hour earlier than that?Makes no sense and didn't need an attitude about it. read more
