a half eaten bagel
Kaylee L.

Got a plain egg bagel with creamcheese and it was amazing! the workers were so kind and it was $4.01 which is good. I see reviews about the staff but they showed me nothing but respect and let me pay only $4 in singles instead of the 4.01 since i didnt have one cent laying around. Nice vibe and looked well inside. Had a wide variety of drinks and I would come back!

First off, the two young girls working were so rude from the second I walked in and were clearly talking about me- my eyelashes to be exact (I'm good at reading lips) and staring at me while doing so, before I even got a hello or how can I help you...? So weird and bratty lol. I always walk in with a smile and am polite soo I'm not sure what that was about. Then I get my bagel- I asked for an egg everything bagel with veggie cream cheese- not a pound of veggie cream cheese with a bagel... honestly, who the hell wants this much cream cheese on their bagel?!?! Holy crap. I know they have to put a certain amount but damnnnn. Do less.

Screw this place went there too plain poppy bagels was $3.51, and they weren't even fresh. Taking advantage of the consumer.

You don't even have to know a biscuit from a triscuit to know this place is detrimental to society. They had an offer for college kids so many would go. It's right off campus. The frats and sororities have convinced themselves that this place is ok, some even say good. But to be in SBU Greek life... I'll take a step back. Not everyone's linguini. Let's accept people for who they are. Ok. Back to the review. They begged me. They pleaded. "Sir, oh knowledgeable sir with such great taste and honor will you do us a favor, nay, a blessing and come with us to our favorite bagel spot?" After much attempts I finally one day went. It was worse than you can even imagine. Years. For years I've tried to get this bite out of my gigantic encephalon. I've surgically removed gray matter from my noggin in hopes to erase the memories. But nay. It's lodged so deep that I cannot escape. I cannot escape my past. I cannot escape the truth. This place simply sucks. Like a baby on a bottle. Utterly blows. Like a cow out of breath. Good one LB. Two pieces of cardboard with a drilled in circle sold as a bagel. I'd rather give back my diploma than ever go back to this spot. How. How is this place still open? Just go the other way to LI Bagel Cafe. These long islanders. So frustrating. So stubborn in their ways. Good thing it didn't rub off on me. I was one and done here. Then straight to the hospital to pump my stomach of any remnants from this dog food called breakfast spot.

Wandered in here very randomly while driving home down Middle Country…read more Went in for breakfast, wound up with a breakfast sandwich and a Reuben for research purposes. The egg sandwich was above average for sure but the star of the show was my pastrami Reuben with Cole slaw. Not an overwhelmingly large sandwich like social media leads everyone to believe is necessary, but it was also only $13.99 which is definitely cheaper than most local places. Side salad and pickle are included and the pickle spear was delicious. The place is immaculate, the staff was very friendly, the man who made my sandwich even asked me to report back on if I like it or not because he said he takes pride in his creations. I will stop in this week to let him know I loved it. There's a massive amount of menu items, it'll take a while to try them all out but there's a few that caught my eye which will require immediate attention. It's hard to find good delis left on the island, this was a great cross between a deli and bagel place. There's a ton of refrigerators with lots of drink choices, there's a salad bar, and of course the sandwich menu. I got to talking with the owner, Mike. Real nice guy, he seems to actually care about his business, and he's got his kids working with him. All around great find, highly recommend!!!!

It's so far ahead of all delis and sandwich spots you've been. This is Long Island's gem. Five stars only is an injustice. It's one of the country's finest spots. It's what George Washington hoped for when he crossed the Delaware. It's what Qin Shi Huangdi believed would come when he unified China. It's what Moses split the Red Sea for. If aliens really existed, they'd be spotted here. If I ate one a day I'd gain 2 pounds a day and that's fine. I wouldn't care. 400 lbs? Ok. Bring it on, I say. Don't test me. As I sit on the John - Delta forcing out a few nukes - I think to myself... oh what a wonderful world. What a wonderful world I live in that I could experience the (and a) Gasm. The Anthony Kay. The Steven Matz. The Boone. The list goes on and on. The amount of underwear I've gone through from ordering the Gasm. Worth it. The M&M cookies on the counter that look at me as if I'm the newest bombshell on the island... oggling and boggling baby. The rumor is these guys churn out millions of cutlets a year. And that's just for me. - Sidebar: Weak sauce LB. Weak. Don't fall into the dad jokes just yet. Don't embarrass me in front of my people. Don't do it. - Anyways. As a poor young man(not that my circumstances have changed) I used to save up my measly funds for just one sandwich on the weekend. It would consume me all week and then I'd consume it in mere minutes. Every time me and my rapscallion crew would come we'd be certain that we'd eat half there and then eat the half later or save the rest for the week. Others had self control to stick to the plan. But I did not. And I'm proud of that. I'm proud of the man I've become. But not proud enough. For one day... one day... I'll go to Se-Port and I'll order The Linguini B. Only on that day, will I be allowed to die. To escape the brilliance of the world and head to the distraction of darkness. Until then - There is much to do. People to influence. Persuasion to persuade. Lust to lunge for. Sandwiches to feast on. The glory of Se-Port. I live a tender distance from this master factory of a deli; however, it's one of the few pieces in this world worth traveling a ridonk distance for. I will walk the Whitestone Bridge to be reacquainted. I would slosh around in the sewage of the Sound to make my way to this Mecca. I am currently working on my masters in astrophysics solely with the purpose of conjugating and coagulating a way to build the first wormhole - From my bed, straight to the parking lot of Seport. Few failed attempts, so far, but thankfully I'm not self-testing. Don't report me. Jokes on you... I'm closer than you'd think. Well. I'm sure you get my notes in the mail, so I'll wrap this up. One day, my love. One day, again, as we had it before. You and me, on the water, whisking the waves with the palms our feet. Our luscious hair sweeping the wind. Stopping time with the strength of our shared gazes. Our hands interlocked, just like our shared destinies. Yours tenderly and truthfully - LB.

They serve hot food as well as standard sandwiches and they stuff the sandwiches quite a bit, almost too much. The service at the counter is always friendly when they take my order. The issue is, they are extremely overpriced. A bologna sandwich on a simple roll and a seltzer should not be approximately $20. The chicken cutlets are microwaved when they are ordered and they just aren't good and they are very pricy. Also, they don't sell drinks in cans, which would be a bit cheaper because a bottle of soda for $4 is just not fair. If you want a standard deli sandwich, at a reasonable price, I'd try a different deli in the area.
