There is not one bagel I ate from BL and not like it! Soo good and the coffee is always good too! My kids love the same stuff usually but I'm happy they add some for me to try out. I'd add pictures but I remember that on full happy stomach next time (maybe) read more

Love the staff and the service. But I got one tiny complaint. Why do they put SpongeBob on the TV if no kids are in here to watch it? He's annoying to listen to if you're an adult trying to sit and enjoy your food. Bring your headphones. read more

It's interesting how some things work out. I think the word is serendipity. I was in the area for one thing and I was right next to a shop I had bookmarked for a while now. So "Bagel Lovers" was getting love from me today. It's is located on the service road of Sunrise Highway in a huge shopping center. Parking is plenty. The building from afar is the color of olive and stands out. But it's what inside that brings everything together. It's a standard look, but very clean. What I noticed right away was how busy it was. There were definitely a lot of faces looking to order, so I jumped in line quickly. The lady behind the counter, I must say was extremely pleasant. She helped my brother and I make our selections. She even joked a bit and went right to work. Once the order came it was tap and pay and then we sat. The lady at the counter respected the bagel. What I mean is she put plenty of cream cheese on it. I should add, that they make the bagels fresh daily and they definitely make them bigger than average. Also, they have a huge selection of cream cheese to choose from. Now back to my food. The bagel was a good size and it looked good. However, the taste stood out more than anything. It was the right combination of strawberry cream cheese and cinnamon raisin to complement each other. I only wish I asked for it toasted, but it was great nonetheless. Coming back to this location is definitely in the cards. I have yet to try their breakfast sandwiches. And more than anything, you know I live for cheese on anything. (Did I ever mention I love cheese!). read more

I really like this place. The bagels are very good and are a good price. I work in the same plaza so it's a very convenient place to go in the mornings. That being said, I have never had a pleasant customer service experience. All the workers I have interacted with have been very negative and slightly rude. This morning I went in and it was busy, to be expected on a Sunday morning. I did not mind waiting. However when it was my time to place my order I walked up to the counter with enthusiasm and said to the girl at the counter "hi how are you". As she looked at me with a look of annoyance she responded with "what can I get you". Once I told her she just walked away and said nothing. I fully understand being tired or overwhelmed, like I said it was quite busy, but I do not think that that is an excuse to be nasty to customers. Especially considering I came at her with positivity and it was not returned. Not to mention they did not seem to be under staffed as there were many employees behind the counter. Now as I said this is a common occurrence at this place and I have gone at times where there has been no one in the store and still received this attitude. I do enjoy this establishment and will continue to return. I just think this is an issue to take into consideration. read more

10 months later, I decided to give this place another try. HOWEVER, could this be a doodle of a penis on top of my coffee cup? Could it be a rocket ship? I will give them the benefit of the doubt that it is the letter "T" because this coffee is great. 10/10. This coffee alone made up for the experience that I had 10 months ago. read more

How do you screw up two bagel sandwiches? - wrong bagel on one - wrong amount of eggs on the other - they forgot bacon on both! read more

The food is good no question about that. But do better with making sure customers orders are accurate. I just spent $51 to get bagels and egg sandwiches and 2 out of the 3 egg sandwiches were incorrect. There was NO Bacon on the BEC!! It would probably be easy for a local customer to come back and get this fixed except I got all of this as I was heading to the Islip Airport to get on a flight! read more

This review is not about the food. I had a bagel and coffee. Both were good. This review is about their system of how they serve people. I waited on a long line. When I got up to the counter, gave them my order, they gave me a receipt. All I wanted was a bagel and coffee and I had to wait 20 minutes for it. I was number 52. I'm waiting, they call 51. Ok, I'm next, finally getting out of here. 53, 54, I said to the guy, you passed me up. He looked at my receipt ( to see what I ordered) and said, we're working on it now. That's a bunch of crap. If he didn't read my order, he would have skipped over it. The guy standing next to me said all he wanted was four bagels with nothing on them. He waited 20 minutes. He said, they just couldn't turn around and gave me the four bagels. read more

Bagels are okay, but not great. I purchased a sandwich and a few bagels. The Sandwich was subpar, and the bagels with cream cheese were okay. The staff was super friendly. Unfortunately, the bagels for me felt not fresh and were sitting out. Overall, it's okay, not great, but okay. They have a lot of potential, and hope they make improvements. read more

Horrible! Long lines. Bagels from here are ok too. Tried it again for another chance and again another long line and they got my order wrong twice while being there. It was a simple order too nothing crazy. Taking my business elsewhere. read more

Great deal on bagels! The bagels were fresh. Unfortunately I when there around noon so some of the bagels I wanted were not available. Go early if you want a good selection of flavors . Service was good, didn't have to wait long and store was clean. read more

Sometimes, I stop by here before work after 6a when I am likely to get the mini bagels, piping hot out of the oven. If I order a sandwich, it usually is a ham and cheddar cheese on a mini bagel. My $3.55 order is an off-menu item that does not come with a regular sandwich's two sides, such as coleslaw and macaroni salad. Bagel Lovers uses the notoriously high-quality Boars Head cold cuts. The bagels themselves are all right. The lines can be long, but they go by fast. Patrons will step off to the side as they wait for their orders, which are prepared in minutes. Employees prepare all meals with gloves. There are 11 tables available to sit down and eat. Sadlu, the floor was strewn with brown leaves and thus appeared as it had not been swept in some time. IMPORTANT: DOORDASH is the only method of online ordering. According to an anonymous store employee, Bagel Lover's Patchogue website has not been updated for a few years, and that is why the ChowNow link is still there. Overall, Bagel Lovers of Patchogue is a good neighborhood deli, located in a large shopping center with plenty of parking. Management just needs to ensure that the place stays clean. read more

Great deal on bagels! Mention you want the teachers bagel deal and u get 24 bagels, a quart of butter, and a quart of cream cheese for $30. Sandwiches are also very good. Only downside to this Bagel/Deli is that it is always busy so lines are long (which says a lot about the food). I recommend calling ahead and then u can walk in front and just pay. read more

Whenever we visit Long Island we have to stop here to bring a dozen bagels back to VA. Best part is that it is buy a dozen get a dozen free. They have never disappointed. Every time we come that place is packed. You get in and out pretty quick even though there is a lot going on. Ordering got a little confusing this time. There is an area that says door dash. So someone was waiting there but everyone that needed to order stood behind them. Everyone seemed to not know where to go to get their order. read more

This place is ridiculous. I ordered a pick up order online at 11:58am and when I went to the store to pick up my order at 12:40pm. it was not even being made yet. If you want the freshest bagels in town, go to bagel lovers! Their bagels are always warm and soft and they got great variety.

Soooo hot in this place you could melt. Why don't they open the door. Food seems to be slowing going down hill. Today my eggs had quite a bit of shells in them and I ordered with bacon and they forgot it. I had to come back with my sandwich and wait again in this scorching hot sona. I guess if you have order coffee you are ok but if you are a juice drinker than double check that apparently you are supposed to know to grab it yourself. Thanks for mentioning that. They have a sign to ask for your utensils but it doesn't say you must also ask for napkins. This was a to go order....Let's not cheep out on the basics please. So I just wanted to update my review. I got back in my car for the second time to open up my sandwich to only be wrong again. No butter or pepper this time... I give up... seems like nobody can do there job right these days.. l am not going back in again and I am very disappointed. Sucks that I tipped them $2.00 bucks for a five dollars sandwich and I can't even enjoy what I asked for. One fried egg sandwich with bacon butter and pepper is apparently to hard. Geeeezzzz............ My last update here I just went to a take a sip of my orange juice that I had to get myself and it's frozen solid thanks guys for making my breakfast so special today read more

Long time customer, know the owner for a very long time and the menu is great, but, on the weekends, counter service is terrible. Wait times can exceed 30 mins. (Today was 24 mins for two bagels and an egg sandwich) They have a lot of young kids working the counter that are pretty disorganized and sometimes are in need of a lesson in manners. Compounding, if you watch carefully, you'll notice that customers that placed similar orders to yours that were on line behind you get their orders before you, sometimes LONG before you. Not always, but several times in my case. Suppose I will be trying someplace else on weekends and holidays. read more

The food is very very good - so delicious but it is impossible to order on the phone the wait time is at least 30mins. I call they always put me on hold or they hang up the phone. Many times ive had to go eat somewhere else because the wait time is either 40mins+ or i cant even get my order through. They need to organize their system much more - it's impossible to get food here unless you go in person to order and wait a long time read more

Used to be our go to bagel store. Now there's a 99% chance my order is messed up or bagel is not fully cooked.

Absolute horrible service. One of the younger girls with brown hair was rude and annoyed to be working it seemed. The messed up my order which is fine but it took an additional 20 minutes for the "fixed" egg sandwiches. Plus the charge you for everything. 1.50 for a slice of cheese.
