The service was good, although we were basically the only people in there for a late lunch. I've passed this place countless times wondering about it. I don't like giving bad reviews and I'm not trying to hurt anyone's business. That said, this place felt like something stuck in the 70's unintentionally and not in a good way, crusty. The utensils had to be the cheapest I've ever seen. On our initial feeling we wanted to get up and leave, but I had already ordered coffee. To put it plainly the food was not good, the kind that gives you indigestion and the coffee was just as bad. We had ordered breakfast basically, I had gotten the HEMAN (eggs, bacon, ham, toast) and we also got another order of eggs and toast. Everything tasted chemically and really off, to add to it my sausage was ice cold (after coming right out). Really concerning since pork is the last thing you want under cooked. To add to it the prices were absurd for what it was and what we experienced, $15-18 for a basic egg breakfast. Everything on the menu was in that range too. Not sure how this place is still here frankly. On top of that they only take cash and had to pay another $3 to get money out of the atm near the door. $40 all and all for a breakfast that shouldn't have been more than $25. So my curiosity certainly killed the cat and put a damper in our day.

On top of that, my damn car decided to up and die, so I've been bleeding money on Ubers just to get to and from work. I even had to go into work on my day off just to sit around waiting for the tow truck so they could junk it. Love that for me. After I handled business with the junkers, I said eff it and headed to Whiskey Neat. I was starving--no breakfast, running on fumes--and since my job's in Patchogue, I figured I'd finally try them for lunch. First of all... happy hour on a Saturday from 12-6?! Uhhh hello?? In my Angelina from Jersey Shore voice. And if you pay cash, you get the discount. Say less. They've got a fabulous small plates menu. I started with the French onion soup--ooey gooey mozzarella, cheese pull was undefeated. Soup was delicious too. I haven't had French onion in ages and it really hit. Then I had the pulled pork slider, which was really good, but BABY... those short rib croquettes? To. Die. For. I also had to get my classic deviled eggs. A little heavy-handed on the paprika, but still solid. Drinks were half off, so of course I indulged. Started with an espresso martini because I needed something to jumpstart my day. Then I had a French martini because duh--I'm a French girl ‍. That one was good. Finished with my classic cosmo. Not gonna lie, I've had better, but it did what it needed to do and helped me forget my troubles for a couple hours. Also great playlist of music. I got there and they were playing Ska. Love me some Reel Big Fish and No Doubt. Mixed with some Motown and Bob Marley. Made me remember the good old days.

Bartender is a true professional, mixing cocktails that are imaginative and delicious. Lee's Black Manhattan was superb, a mix of Rittenhouse Rye & Amaro Averna, just so different and delicious, served up. After a difficult time trying to decide, I went with the Corpse Reviver No. 2 which is a delightful mix of London Dry Gin, Lillet Blank, lemon, Cointreau & absinthe rinse. It tasted like a light, fine lemon drop. We had already eaten but the menus all looked like they were filled with great options. We will create an UYE here..possibly even for a weekend day soon. They offer a very palatable HH and it would be great to return with a group of Yelpers soon.

Now let me start off by saying that my best work comes on the pitch and putt course, but that doesn't stop me from making a fool of myself while the guys on the simulators next to us are absolutely demolishing the ball. You don't need to worry about bringing your own clubs as they do have rentals, but you can bring your own too. We did a two hour rental in the afternoon and only booked the day before with no issues. The staff were some of the nicest and most helpful guys I've had the pleasure of doing business with, they even gave us some extra time since we showed up a little late and there weren't any other rentals after us. Good selection of drinks and if you're hungry, they don't have their own kitchen but they have a deal with Rhum next door to order food, which is some good tasty bar food. I love the sort of mid century modern style they have going on, it fits the golf atmosphere, but none of the snobiness that it usually brings with the sport. Parking can be a little tricky, but there are a bunch of lots around (some paid, some not) which are likely your best bet, even if that means you'll have a short walk. Might just be my favorite bar in patchogue, golf or otherwise, and will gladly comeback here any time.

Sifting through the many choices on yelp was a little overwhelming. Then it hit me. I've eaten at two morrow pub many times in the past and have never had a sub par experience. It's been quite awhile since bread or potato passed my lips so I wanted it to be perfect. Two Morrows was an obvious choice. It was freezing out and walking into the warm and friendly space highlighted by the hot fireplace set the table for us. We were seated right next to said fireplace and our server Lisa took care of us right away. She was helpful and friendly and made us feel right at home. I ordered the piggy platter which consisted of a half pound burger cooked exactly the way I ordered it. It comes with your choice of sides, mine was steak fries also cooked to perfection and Lisa was nice enough to add cole slaw, creamy and crunchy. I added a pint of toasted lager, my girlfriend had a diet friendly burger and a salad and the food came out right away. Hot and fresh. The burgers here and made the old fashioned way, 8oz. Of fresh chopped meat formed by hand and cooked to perfection. My girl and I chose med rare. This place makes me happy. Not to noisy, cozy, classic pub atmosphere, choice of sport or movie on the several TVs and oh that fireplace! This place is not too big but I kind of like that. Oh and its clean! At the end of our meal Lisa supplied us with the check and since Valentines day was just a couple days away my girl got a valentines day card with a cute heart bracelet. I'm not sure this experience couldve been had at many other places. Let me end with saying you can probably find fancier newer pubs or restaurants at a much higher price point but not many with a more satisfying experience. Dont pass this place without stopping by. The menu isnt huge but sometimes making fewer things but doing them well is a better strategy. BTW the beer was great ttoo. Thanks again Lisa.

Tom was extremely friendly and the best part of our interaction was the fact that him and the owner worked together prior and came up with this masterpiece of an idea to open up shop In the heart of Patchogue. I started off with their popcorn chicken, so flavorful with a mega crunch! But you have to dip it in their house sauce! It's the cherry on top. The baos were moist and delicious especially when you dip them in their bao sauce. I got the 2 bao combo that came with 2 baos of your choice, fries and a soda. Their fries are probably the favorite, they're the perfect combination of peppery and salty! Both a plus! The first bao was their Nashville chicken. Sweet and savory chicken in their soft bao bun topped off with some pickles. Packed with flavor! Second i chose the sweet heat bao. Probably my favorite out of all of them haha! Even Tom told me I made a great decision haha! Sweet and savory chicken with their house garnish of carrot and cabbage! Oh myyyyy it was delightful, wish I ordered 3 of each!
