Went to Shands for dinner New Years Eve. They have seating at the bar, tables in the bar area overlooking main street and a private dining area. Everything is very clean and modern. Every member of the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Service was amazing and the food and drinks were better and more creative than most places. The options are out of the ordinary and thoughtfully paired. Drinks and food both came out quickly and correct every time. Shands is a must go, even if you're just looking for drinks.

Ambiance is amazing! They had a live band playing jazz music love the vibe! The place is beautiful and clean! Service is ok. The waiter couldn't understand when I said salad with no dressing. Also I wish they have more items in the menu aside from brunch items.

We went for a ladies brunch and had a wonderful time. It was our first time. The restaurant is beautiful and very clean. We were seated promptly. The cocktails were delicious. Everything we ordered was really good. The bacon and hash brown delicious. The avocado toast was great. I would have given 5 stars but the service was a little lacking. It was not busy. We were constantly looking for the waiter for refill of water, refill on coffee, waiting for check etc.

I cannot possibly describe how amazing this place is. If you haven't been to Shands yet you are missing out!!! It sounds like you had an incredible experience! If you'd like, I can help you turn this into a polished review for a restaurant or bar. From start to finish, everything about this place was absolutely perfect! I don't usually get the chance to make it to happy hour, but when I saw they offered it on Sundays at 4 PM, it seemed like the perfect opportunity for a quick date. The ambiance is sheer perfection--beautiful decor and such a warm, inviting vibe the moment you walk in. We were greeted immediately by the sweetest and most helpful hostess, which set the tone for a great experience. We chose to sit at the bar, where Anthony and Olivia, the bartenders, welcomed us right away. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful. As first-timers, we asked for drink and food recommendations, and every single suggestion they gave us was spot on! I'll admit the cocktail descriptions initially made me a little hesitant, but we ended up trying three different drinks, and all of them were absolutely amazing. The combination of fantastic service, delicious drinks, and the overall atmosphere has definitely made this a place we can't wait to return to. We recommend for drinks my husband got the patty wagon, and I had the stay puffed and the fennel destination. For food we recommend everything! Lol but we tried the happy specials as well as the steak tartar which was a while experience and the truffle tortellini. Yum!

Made a reservation, I was running behind and informed the restaurant. They were very polite and let me know it was fine. Once I got there I realized I decided I wanted to eat at the bar. Luckily there were 2 seats available. The bartender was great. I ate here once before and was excited about eating the same pasta I had last time. To my surprise the menu changed. Which was not a bad thing. I ordered wings and lasagna and it was delicious. Initially I was bummed out because I was looking forward to the linguini I had last time. But completely forgot about it once I had that first bite of the lasagna. Once it got later I noticed a Dj putting equipment together. After my third " claro que si " drink I got up and enjoyed the music. There were some people dancing and some people just singing along. I didn't want to leave, the Dj was playing classics from all genres. Definitely will go back with a bigger group of ppl. This place is perfect for a date night, or a night out with friends.

Best experience always. Food is delicious and unique. Not like anything else you'd find on Long Island. Service is always top notch, and cocktails are SO good. The redesign of the building is beautiful.

Love going here!! I've been to this restaurant multiple times and it will always get me back. The menu is always evolving but never neglects the staples. The cocktail menu is honestly one of my favorites and the food is immaculate. The service is always amazing and the staff is so nice and is really good at making menu suggestions to ensure that you'll enjoy the food

On top of that, my damn car decided to up and die, so I've been bleeding money on Ubers just to get to and from work. I even had to go into work on my day off just to sit around waiting for the tow truck so they could junk it. Love that for me. After I handled business with the junkers, I said eff it and headed to Whiskey Neat. I was starving--no breakfast, running on fumes--and since my job's in Patchogue, I figured I'd finally try them for lunch. First of all... happy hour on a Saturday from 12-6?! Uhhh hello?? In my Angelina from Jersey Shore voice. And if you pay cash, you get the discount. Say less. They've got a fabulous small plates menu. I started with the French onion soup--ooey gooey mozzarella, cheese pull was undefeated. Soup was delicious too. I haven't had French onion in ages and it really hit. Then I had the pulled pork slider, which was really good, but BABY... those short rib croquettes? To. Die. For. I also had to get my classic deviled eggs. A little heavy-handed on the paprika, but still solid. Drinks were half off, so of course I indulged. Started with an espresso martini because I needed something to jumpstart my day. Then I had a French martini because duh--I'm a French girl ‍. That one was good. Finished with my classic cosmo. Not gonna lie, I've had better, but it did what it needed to do and helped me forget my troubles for a couple hours. Also great playlist of music. I got there and they were playing Ska. Love me some Reel Big Fish and No Doubt. Mixed with some Motown and Bob Marley. Made me remember the good old days.

Bartender is a true professional, mixing cocktails that are imaginative and delicious. Lee's Black Manhattan was superb, a mix of Rittenhouse Rye & Amaro Averna, just so different and delicious, served up. After a difficult time trying to decide, I went with the Corpse Reviver No. 2 which is a delightful mix of London Dry Gin, Lillet Blank, lemon, Cointreau & absinthe rinse. It tasted like a light, fine lemon drop. We had already eaten but the menus all looked like they were filled with great options. We will create an UYE here..possibly even for a weekend day soon. They offer a very palatable HH and it would be great to return with a group of Yelpers soon.

My 3 star review is based on our overall experience over the years. If I was basing my review on this one visit alone, I would not even give it three stars. The ambience and service here are very good. Chachama is located in a non-descript strip of stores. The restaurant however is pleasant surprise . Classy , elegant and upscale. When you enter you are surprised because the interior is not what you based on the location and exterior. We started out with a few cocktails. I had an old-fashioned, which was quite good. My wife had a glass of Pinot Grigio. A very slim pour but she enjoyed the wine. For appetizers I had the butter nut squash soup. Good, not great. Somewhat Lacking in flavor but overall well done. My wife had the pumpkin ravioli. Again, good but not as flavorful as expected. For dinner I had the rigatoni. Similar theme to the appetizers. The presentation is beautiful. Definitely an adequate dish, but nothing to write home about. My wife had the black Angus braised short rib. It was terrible. Extremely fatty and virtually inedible. This was pointed out to our server. His response was "I will tell the chef". For dessert we both had the chocolate cake. Pretty tasty but an extremely small portion. I'm not sure if the quality of our dinner was due to the fact that it was restaurant week. If it was, that is not acceptable. I don't believe restaurant week should result in lesser quality and smaller portions. I believe you should receive the same quality and portion size you would any other day of the week. If this is the tactic they are using. It does not fly with me. After our most recent visit, I won't say we wouldn't return, however it has lost some luster.

The service was impeccable--our waiter was friendly, and really made us feel taken care of. But, as much as I wanted to keep coming back, the food just didn't live up to the expectations that the beautiful setting and upscale prices would suggest. I had high hopes, but some of the skepticism after reading other reviews which was unfortunately spot on: the food here is incredibly underwhelming for the price. Appetizers: Clams Casino: For $18, I was expecting a little more than six tiny clams, each one was rubbery, overcooked, and lacked any of the depth of flavor. Cajun Seared Tuna: I love a good tuna, and this one came close to being a standout. The sear was fine, and the temperature was just shy of medium, but the wasabi and teriyaki drizzle felt lazy. I've had better. Entrees: Mahi Mahi: Broiled, not seared, it wasn't terrible. The fish was a little on the dry side, but the overall flavor was decent, especially with the grilled pineapple topping. Still, for what it cost, I expected a more flavorful and tender piece of fish. Halibut (Dinner Special): This was really disappointing. Halibut is such a beautiful fish, delicate and buttery, but what I was served was far from it. The fish was overcooked, and the accompanying risotto was undercooked--nothing like the creamy, perfectly al dente risotto you'd expect at a restaurant of this caliber. It was bland, dry, and sorely lacking in seasoning. I had to add so much salt and pepper. Two mixed drinks, two beers, the two entrees, and two Apps added up to well over $200 (with tip). You're paying for the ambiance here, which is undeniably great, but the food just doesn't justify the cost. Despite the beautiful setting and excellent service, I'm not sure I'd be returning. Unless bad night for the cooks? Drift 82 has potential, but for now, it's more of a "look but don't touch" kind of place for me.
