Made reservations on a Friday at noon for the same day 730pm. Parking is a nightmare, we parked next door and walked over. Waited a few minutes to be seated. Waiter Brian was good, had a female server as well I can't remember her name. Both pleasant. God the baked clams, porterhouse for two, cream spinach and garlic mash. Also came with two side salads. It was just ok to me not my favorite. Foe the price you would think it would be this great steakhouse but it's not . No flavor at all , that I was eating the sides instead of the steak to be full. I will go to other steakhouses for this price. Parking is valet which is fine. Inside seating is super tight and extremely loud, so if you want quiet this isn't the place. Ambiance (5/5): The inside reminds me of a nicely decorated home-- walls lined with mirrors and paintings, nice ceiling lighting, mood lighting, moderately fancy dining setting. The inside is moderately loud with the establishment divided into 3 different areas, one shared with the bar. We sat in a booth which proved to be a fairly tight space and dimly lit. Service (5/5): We visited during Father's Day. I'm not sure if it is typical or not, but we had two dedicated servers (Sarah and Conor?) throughout our whole dining experience. As such, we felt attended to 100% throughout our entire experience. Both were delightful in providing us not only prompt but also courteous treatment. Other bussing services came around to refill waters and clear out tables appropriately as well. Manager came to check in toward the end of the experience too! Food Table Bread (5/5): The toasted buttered and seasoned bread was phenomenal. It was fresh and not too toasted that it was soft yet crispy. There were also some included crackers along with a small side of whipped butter. Side of salad (5/5): The choice of variety of dressings. The creamy cucumber dressing (recommended by our server) did not disappoint. I was very happy that the salad was generous in the variety in all kinds of fresh vegetables. Our table opted for 2 of the day's specials: 1 appetizer: Pace's Slab Bacon (5/5) had a very smoky taste and the taste was not the same without all elements presented on the plate: tomato, white onion, and tomato spread. Enjoyed together, the bite was delicious. Stuffed Salmon (3/5): The salmon was very tender and the stuffed component has a very mushy texture. With the sauce providing a very creamy and buttery aftertaste to the meal. It was so rich that without a base of starch (like rice or pasta) or any vegetables for that matter, I need something to soak up the rest. However, very filling and deliciously seasoned. The lack of any sides kind of left me wanting more even for an entrée. Porterhouse for 2 (3/5): The biggest disappointment for us was the porterhouse. I think we were at least expecting it to be cooked to our liking which was supposed to be "medium" and it was definitely on the "medium-rare" side. The meat itself was pretty tough to chew/cut/eat and hardly seasoned to enjoy on it's own unlike other steaks we've had. The charring tastes did not come through. Valet moved my car outside mirrors. They should not touch the car, only for moving it. Girls up front when you walk in, very unprofessional. Fooling around, one girl - dressed sloppy. We did not have reservations because the night was early. The girls immediately had an attitude - "You really need reservations! We have 300 people coming! You have to be done by 6 oclock! We can't put you in the dining room. We can put you by the bar." But - the petite filet mignon was good. Warm bread. I told the waiter that it was my mom's birthday. About 6 waiters came by to sing! Now this is a steakhouse! Upscale vibe with valet and attentive waitstaff. Started off with the bread at the table, the star being a pull-apart roll with butter and seasonings baked in. The other breads were a bit lackluster but definitely don't fill up here. Had one of the best scallops I've had in my life as an appetizer along with generously stuffed mushrooms. Every salad at our table was phenomenal. I myself had the Caesar where they don't skip out on the Parmesan! My partner and I split the Porterhouse Steak for Two, which was deliciously tender and made for great leftovers. Mushrooms and spinach on the side were perfect, especially the spinach. Had amazing red wine at the table to top everything off. I would say my only feedback would be for waitstaff to come around and sweep crumbs in between dishes and for a bathroom remodel, as that aspect of the restaurant wasn't quite as "high end" as the rest of the facilities/building (old doors, plastic soap dispenser, etc.). Had a great birthday dinner with friends. Started off with the slab of bacon which was on special (AMAZING), shrimp cognac and baked clams which were all great. We all had ribeyes which were also great. The ribeyes are much bigger than we anticipated, so a lot of delicious leftovers. The creamed spinach was good but probably a skip for me next time. We had the mushrooms and steak fries also. I really enjoyed the mushrooms, steak fries were good as well. For dessert we had a brownie with peanut butter on top which was amazing. Honestly this place is just mediocre .... I know it's been a staple around town for ever, but the steaks are just ok. I've been back 3 times in the last 4 months and not pleased with the service to be honest. Had a very junior guy serving us with zero experience and he was working with one of the others who have been there for a while and is seriously embittered, tbh. Putting that aside, the food is just ....ok. Filet mignon was good, but just good. Had the pork chop once, that was quite good and warn you to stay away from their pasta dishes --. Terrible. Family of five (4adults,one child) ate there last night and what a major disappointment. Starting with waiting on the road to pull into valet parking our experience was subpar. Although we had reservations made a month ago, we waited twenty minutes for our table. Our drinks were excellent. Two star rating instead of one because the appetizers were excellent. We shared shrimp, slab bacon and Caesar salad. All were delicious. Then came the steaks. What a major letdown from a steakhouse. A rib eye steak(med), a porterhouse for two (med rare) and a porterhouse for one (med well) were ordered . None of the steaks had any seasoning or flavor...just grilled hunks of beef. The steak ordered med came rare, the steak ordered med rare came med and the steak ordered med well came well done. They cooked the rare steak more so that was ok, they offered to make a new steak for the overcooked steak but since it would take time they opted to keep it and manager said he would take care of it. When the check came, They did take off that off the check which was the right thing to do. If a steakhouse can't make a flavorful steak cooked to order, it is a steakhouse we will never go back to. read more

Even after a year of not ordering take out and a few years not dining in. This place never disappoints. We were in route to another steak house but somehow ended up right here. Nothing really changed from my last review except the menu. We ordered off of the lunch menu this time because I really didn't want anything from the dinner menu except. Rack of lamb. Lobster Mac and Cheese and creamed Spinach. However, from the lunch menu we both ordered The Filet Mignon Steak Sandwich, this is what the waiter Trevor recommended and I'm so glad he did. NOT A SAFE PLACE TO DINE!!! We are 6 seniors, two men and four women, who were verbally accosted by two other much younger male diners. TWICE THEY STOOD OVER US AND YELLED: WHATS YOUR PROBLEM. YOU DON'T HAVE KIDS. They were so out of control that FINALLY the manager and another man had to push them away from our table. The mother loudly screamed at our table the expletive F... at her more than once during the evening. One of us, a 76-year-old woman, left in tears before our dinner started. All this started bc we asked the manager to politely ask them to control their kids who were screaming. Did the manager ask these out-of-control bullies to leave the restaurant? NOPE. Started with Tuna Poke which was fresh and delicious. We had a rib eye for 2 that was cooked perfectly. The outside was crusty and it was cooked medium rare. I have not been here in years but let me tell you, I was still very impressed. When you arrive you feel like you are transported back in time to an "old school" but classy steakhouse. We walked into the bar for a pre dinner drink and Joe was behind the bar. Not only can this guy make you laugh but he can make a solid drink. The bar was crowded so we sat at small rail to hang out. My wife is pregnant and Joe went above and beyond. He saw her ginger ale and cranberry was almost empty so he came around from behind the bar and dropped off another one for her. We were very impressed by that. When we sat down we were greeted by Taylor and Josh. They were very knowledgeable about the menu, were very professional and funny. We started with a Caesar salad which was massive and 2 soups, a French onion and lobster bisque which were also a huge portion (forgot pics bc so impressed and hungry lol). All the apps were so good! Then for dinner we split the 40 oz bone in porterhouse special. This thing just like everything else ... HUGE! It was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The steak was so tender and juicy. For sides we ordered Mac and cheese, creamed spinach and garlic mashed potatoes. All around the sides were amazing in size, taste and quality. We had to try the dessert since everything else was incredible. I ordered a piece of chocolate cake and my wife ordered the tartufo. Both of them were very satisfying. Throughout the whole meal Taylor and Josh were on top of it and made sure we had everything we needed and that everything was to our liking. Our water glasses were never even empty and empty plates were never on the table long. This review is 2.7/5. For weeks I was excited and and looking forward to a well established steak house. Last year I ate at Peter Lugers stake house and it was good not phenomenal, I was slightly let down. So this year I was expecting something delicious and mouthwatering. (intro) As I arrived the only way to park your car was by valet, I highly dislike that because I do not feel like I am above parking my car and waking for a minute. Another I am not a fan of valet is that they can damage your car without you noticing till the next morning, they are also always looking for a tip with there hand out. I tipped them $10 for parking my car and it seemed to them that it was not enough. In addition to this they drove my car on to a curb leaving 2 tries on the flat pavement and 2 tries on an elevated surface running over a curb. (Valet) As I walked inside with very high expectations they seated me quickly but I noticed I was sitting on a flimsy chair they seemed to be from the 90s from my dead grandmothers house it had old fabric on the back of it. When I looked to the wall next to be I noticed that the wood accent was extremely chipped and beat up it had water marks on it. I did enjoy the Christmas lights and the decorations around the roof it was a nice touch. The carpet was alright I mean a little odd but whatever. All the tables in there came with an adjusted light which I liked to set the tone. (Ambiance) Now to the moment we have all been waiting for the food the best part. I was severed a big basket of bread with various different types my favorite being the garlic beard. I absolutely loved it was very good. I ordered the Kobe Beef meatballs for appetizer and they were also very good, perfectly cooked and not dry at all. Then I had a Cesar salad that was also good I loved how fresh all the ingredients were the highlights were the juicy chicken and cheese. On to the entree the best part of dinner or I thought. I order the Porterhouse. Stake I ordered the stake medium rare but when it came to the table I noticed it was extremely charred on the top and bottom, black flakey bits were falling off. As I bit into trying to taste the famous meat I couldn't because the BURNT CHARRED flavor over powered the entire steak. I mean I could barley and even taste the meat. My mouth was overloaded with burnt steak. I was so excited and hungry for this but now I could barely eat it I mean this was an absolute disappointment, this stake was a disgrace. (Food) One of the absolute best parts of my night was my server Taylor he was awesome. I love the enthusiasm and empathy. He showed at dinner. It showed me that he really wanted to be there that night and enjoyed his job as a waiter. I admire that and I appreciated him. The service was fairly quick and they were diligent with water refills.
